"My husband was at Medilodge of Sterling Heights. He had very good care there. Everybody was cheerful and helpful. I thought it was a very good place. The room was lovely. He was in a double occupancy. There was another gentleman on the other side, but they each had their own quarters and they shared a bathroom. It was clean. It had a nice bright window in it. He had the right kind of bed and it was very comfortable room. I thought it was very good. "

"The staff at Fraser Villa was so great and so wonderful. The nurses were special and so were the aides. They would come and talk to me for a little while and not have to leave. I enjoyed them. The physical therapy department was so wonderful in getting my foot back into shape so I could come home. They were trying to get me to stay longer and I kind of wanted to, but I knew I had to go. They treated me very well. They were so good to me. Their physical therapy department knew how to treat people and how to get them through physical therapy and get them motivated to work. They had good food. I went to bingo one day and I wish I had learned about it long before. It was like three days before I was going home that I went to bingo. I spent a lot of time where I shouldn't have spent (I went to the snack bar because they had that). I'm a Catholic and so I went to mass one day. The staff were very exceptional and very dedicated people. They were wonderful."

"The place is always clean and safe for seniors living there. Staff is friendly. My brother has been there since 1994 and he doesn't complain. It is a low budget type place. "

"I think that the Hilton Convalescent Home is a very nice convalescent home for someone who is looking for a nice semi small convalescent home for a friend or a family member. The Hilton convalescent Home is a very nice facility it is not very large but it is nice and comfortable and it very homey as well on a contemporary style basis. The Hilton Convalescent Home is in a laid back very quiet, safe and secured neighborhood also. Ferndale community is a very nice quiet community where as everyone like it there. The vast majority of homes there are also laid back and on a contemporary style setting also and so are the surrounding neighborhoods. It offers such a safe and secured atmosphere and environment as well very low crime rate. While there, I noticed that the staff and management were professional and they also treated the residents like they were family. The residents appeared to be very happy as they were interacting with one another. They also offer their residents a variety of services, entertainment, refreshments, and recreational activities. It is such a nice Nursing home for someone who is looking for a nice and clean nursing home for a friend or a loved one. I also noticed that residents' rooms were nice and clean and the residents' rooms did not smell. I would recommend this facility to any and every senior that like to live in a nice semi small size nursing facility that is not too large and has more privacy because there are less people to have to come into contact with. Because I think that they would like it there and I know that they receive good care there also. I would rank this facility on a four stars rating for the good service that they provide for their residents. "

"The Henry Ford Continuing Care Center was clean, and it does not have a smell. The staff was good. They were very pleasant. They were disappointed when we left but they did not give us a hard time. They were very nice. "

"I would give this facility 10 stars if I could!! My mother is 93 years old and had a WONDERFUL experience there!! The staff was like family and was very caring and loving to her!! I visited her every day and when I'm done with this review most of the staff will know who I am!! Liz, Jess, Sarah, Shannon, Brittany, Victoria, Robin, Marcia, Ron, Susan, and last but not least Sophia at the front desk. Every time I went everyone had smiles on there faces!! If I never need to go to a facility I will definitely go to HEARTLAND!! Also, Tanya and Jonelle are wonderful also!! I love you all and God Bless you!!! "

"I went to Clinton-Aire for iv therapy and i say that the staff here is very friendly, caring and just overall great. i was in a private room that was quiet and clean. Therapy really helped me get back on my feet and get home. Food is okay too. I enjoyed going on outings with activities to bingo and lunch. they have good customer serivice and is a clean place. thank you clinton-aire for caring for me"

"My brother is at St. Mary's Nursing & Rehab Center. Things are starting to get a little better, but depending on what nurse he has that day, he doesn’t always get the care that he needs. The staff is good but some couldn’t be bothered. They lost his clothes, but they did find some of them. I had to complain because they gave him a broken bed, and he couldn’t go up and down in a bath, but we got that straightened out. Some of the staff are trying to address these situations, but a broken bed shouldn’t even be there. They keep the facility clean, and the food is decent. They all go to the dining room and are served individually. However, their security is a joke. The entry door has the code on the outside of the door to get into the building, so anybody outside could just come up, type in that code, and walk through the door. That doesn’t sound secure to me. When I mentioned it, they said, “We didn’t have any problems.” Otherwise, the facility is decent. The building is clean, the food is decent, and relatively, most of the staff is good. "

"My father was rehabbing after he fell at home and fractured his hip. We contemplated having him go home with home care directly after his surgery - but opted to have him go to ShorePointe instead. I cannot say enough good things about all of the physical therapists and nurses that helped my father with his recovery. It definitely would have been too much of a challenge for my mother (who is also elderly) to have him at home after the surgery. Now that he IS home - he is moving around better than ever before. Thank you to everyone at ShorePointe for helping my "papa" after his surgery. I highly recommend!!"
