"My wife and I visited eight nursing facilities before making a decision on where my 91 year old mother should spend her rehab time after surgery. We made a checklist and evaluated each for cleanliness, staff, and the rehab facility itself. In addition, we took into account recommendations from friends who have either stayed in a nursing facility or had relatives who had. Of the eight we visited, Heartland come out on top in all categories. My mother stayed at Heartland for a number of weeks... her care was exceptional !!! All of the staff were kind, attentive, and very professional. "I was a resident at Clinton-Aire and was treated so well I wanted to share it with others. The staff here is very friendly, always smiling and willing to help whenever I needed anything. Nobody had attitudes like other nursing homes that I was in. My room was always clean and food was good to! I am thankful I found this place. Please consider bringing your loved one here."

"My husband has improved considerably since he has been at Medilodge of Sterling Heights. The food is really good and the aides are really nice. The staff is pretty good and if there's something that needs to be done, they will do it. Sometimes it has a smell, but they clean it up right away. My husband gets what he wants."

"The rooms are clean and most are private. There is no urine smell in the rooms or throughout the facility. The food is plentiful for all three meals and taste very good with many options. The staff is courteous and helpful but short staff they respond to the call button as quickly as they can."

"My Mom was at this facility (Martha T Berry) from December 2020 to August 2024. She was in poor physical health and suffering from dementia when she arrived. MTB was successful in bringing her back to physical health and then did a tremendous job supporting her as her dementia symptoms progressed. The staff was caring and supportive. The facility was well maintained and there's a nice courtyard that has flowers, plants and a gazebo. If we had to make a decision again on where to have our Mom live while dealing with her disease, we'd choose MTB."

"I was a temporary resident after hip replacement surgery. The rehab is outstanding! (when I went back to my doctor for the follow up, he was amazed I had such movement! He said most patients don’t get this far that soon after surgery.) The majority of staff were Great, always have some complaints everywhere on the night shift, other than the nurses, they were all wonderful. All were very helpful to me during my stay there, and if I had to go to another rehab in the future, that’s where I would go, and recommend to my friends and family. Food at times was not the best, but if they were having something I didn’t care for, I could always get a sandwich or Chef’s Salad or Fruit Bowl. They were very good options. "I came to Windemere Park for rehab from a broken hip. I didn't know what to anticipate being that I was in pain and not happy about my situation. However, my 4 weeks as a resident there was amazing. The aids and nurses were so attentive and kind. The food was like a nice restaurants for every meal. My physical therapy, although tough, worked! The activities team made the time pass quickly. Windemere made my situation so much better than I could have hoped for. I am on my way to a full recovery. I just wanted to share how a bad situation was completely turned around and awesome."

"My husband moved into the Autumn Woods Health Care Facility. He's happy there. They have plenty of staff. They're very friendly. The facility is clean. The food is much better than what he was getting at the other facilities, so he's fine with the food. They have a hair salon, physical therapy, a little aviary, and a game area where they have a game table. They have games, like puzzles, and things for them to do. They have activities all the time. They usually have a dog come in for visits once a month or so. They have church services. Everything is there. The staff members are always there. They're always responsive and helpful. They don't make you wait a long time. Medicaid and Social Security pay for it."

"I toured Cambridge East and knew immediately it was more Care than my father needed. He’s currently in an Assisted Living but I’d like him closer. I had a very nice tour and then received a follow up telephone call from the admissions office. I explained that after touring I needed to look for an Assisted living. After discussing my dad the admissions person spent about 20 extra minutes on the telephone with me giving me suggestions on places for my dad. She had a guide that she went through with me with appropriate placements. She gave me several numbers of places to call and even named people to contact that she’s worked with. All I can say is wow and thank you. She even gave me her direct cell number to call if I had any more questions. Great customer service Cambridge East. Thank you"
