My sister has been in Imperial Nursing Center since Wednesday. It's a really nice place. When I went over there to check the facility out, it was also very clean. It appeared that there were a lot more residents out in their wheelchairs getting around. It's a really big place, and has four different areas in the facilities. My sister is on the rehab side. She says the food is really good. She got upset yesterday because they gave the same thing for dinner. It was an egg salad sandwich. She wanted me to bring her some food over there, but they gave her something else. She was satisfied with it. They're really accommodating to her. The only thing is that her roommate has the TV up so loud that she can hardly hear her TV. She might be hard of hearing, so I told my sister to put it up a little bit louder. Then she can hear her TV, too. Other than that, it's a very nice place. I like it. I didn't try the food. My sister said it's good, and she's a very picky eater. She likes the staff, too. The facility is really nice. I was really impressed. It's nice, big, and clean. She is in the rehab part. Her health insurance is paying for it, so I don't know how much it is costing.

A staff admitted they did not feed my cousin for a day and a half. No fluids either. Reason they gave is they moved his room and then forgot him.. A few days later he was in the hospital. Even after several requests to talk to a Doctor never did. I took a day off work and sat with my cousin for 5 hours waiting for the Doctor. Guess what he never came. Do not send a love one there

Is place is the absolute worst. Nursing staff is very rude when you’re inquiring about your family member and when you call, they seldom answer. I was on the phone with my family member when he needed assistance so I told him to ring the call button. They never came so I called them from another phone and when I did informed them that he needed assistance, one nurse yelled to another “yeah he called his family”. Within hours, his daughter took him from this awful place

I really thought that this would be a good rehab. It takes all day to answer the call light, no snacks, nothing to drink but water I asked for fruit and got cut up pears. I would like to go to a different rehab and I wouldn't suggest anyone come here.

I have been in Imperial two times. 2015 and in 2018. Hate to say that the care has went down hill. This last time I was there they were short staffed. They had job fairs every other week. The aides seem to have a problem taking care of residents. They acted like you were bothering them if you needed something. One morning I needed to get cleaned up. The aide said I had to wait till after they serviced breakfast and picked up the trays. It was like that every meal. Other then that the staff could be very nice. there were two aides that were both there the 2 times I was there. PT, OT staff are good. My wife was also there, She got very sick while. One day she was unresponsive at like 4am, they waited until 7am to call 911, went to the hospital almost died, was in ICU for a week. So I wasn't happy about that at all.

My friend was here and it seemed as though they took very good care of him. When I sat in the room, nurses came in to out to tell him their shift was ending and beginning. I’ve been to a couple nursing homes myself and usually you only see that being done in the hospital. He also seemed happy to be getting help. He had on clean grip socks and his face was clean. I really liked the environment.

I enjoy Imperial so much that I have come back four different times! I especially love Jenny, Guest Relations as well as the rest of the staff. What I most enjoy is the beautiful church services, going to therapy, going on outings, and the coffee.’’

My mother is in there and she been in there 2 weeks and only had 1 shower, today it is 2:00 pm and I have to call to complain that she had not been wash up and put her clothes. My sister-in-law found out that she was in Imperial she said I should take her out, because her Dad was over medicated and she had to go up there at 3:00 am to get him out of there. They are really short staff!

I do not recommend this place. They don't take care of their patients at all. My grandmother went without a bath For a week.

My grandmother was brought her for rehab in February 2016, the facility itself is keep clean and the rooms are what you would expect from a nursing facility, the residents were friendly and the staff was the best part of mines and my grandmother experience at Imperial, she has some of the most loving nurses, Zell, Princess and Diane they really took care of her even when she was really mean to them because her dementia was progressing while she was in there care, also I can not leave out the social worker Gillian she was wonderful with helping out grandmother insurance and helping manage her care. I also can not forget about her roommate Ms.Barbara thank goodness for her she keep me informed of what was going on when I was not able to be there when I was at work, that is the main reason I gave them 4 stars because of the staff, My grandmother and her roommates food was often cold and they would give them the same things to each sometimes two and three days in a row. Just like any other facility make sure you go and visit on your love one a regular basis and if they can eat, I would recommend that you take something to eat that they like to eat including snacks.

My body went into sepsis shock and I needed a rehab facility to go to after my hospital stay. I was so scared! I wasn't sure where to start and my social worker at the hospital recommended Imperial, I was very skeptical at first, but the staff is very caring and want you to go home.

I was just discharge back home from Imperial health care. I got a total knee replacement at Garden City Hospital and transferred to Imperial for rehab. I was very leerier about go anywhere for rehab as I'm only 56. The care and friendliness of the staff was amazing. The therapy team got me back on my feet and walking. I will return to imperial for the next knee. I would recommend Imperial. Even the food was good!

This facility is wonderful! They provide good care to all!!! My grandpa is currently at Imperial and he is doing so much better!!! He has been at Imperial for a year and he has come a long way. My family and I needed a nursing facility that was close to family and friends. The staff continues to provide wonderful and attentive care.

This place is pass horrible I would not put LUCIFER in here. The staff is unsympathetic to the patients and shows no compassion. They need to remember that KARMA does exist. Untrained and not willing to do there jobs. If you value your love ones Please keep your love ones from here I beg of you
no way to treat sick folks

This place is horrible. My neighbor was there for about two months. During her entire stay, she was confined to a wheelchair. She was not given a chair or a walker. The Social Worker turned out to be a nightmare. The physical therapist were rude and disrespectful and had my neighbor in tears. This place is only concerned with the money, not the patients. They promised to have a hospital bed, and at home care for my neighbor. My neighbor spent her first night home sitting in a chair all night because the bed never arrived. No home care agency workers arrived. It was a nightmare to see how they treated an 82 year old woman. If you love your family member, then love them enough to send them elsewhere. They steal clothes, the place stinks, and they make the patients wait hours for assistance to use the bathroom.

This place is horrible. My dad was released from the hospital to imperial for rehab. When he arrived his clothes were stolen (not in the closet or by his bed). They kept him heavily medicated, especially on the weekends. It smells of urine and is unclean. He contracted pneumonia and staph infection while there. Don't send your loved ones there.

I agree with the Medicare rating. Couple of years ago was a wonderful place but now they are getting rid of good people and making changes that are not good for the patients. On one ward w/50 patients have 3 nurses and 6 aides, so everyone has full pants.

He was in another nursing home and I was trying to find an available long term bed and at that time, Imperial had an available long term bed. We were able to get a semi-private room for my Dad. They have a great rehab and I liked that. The staff are pretty attentive to him. He's been there for a few days and so far their food is good.

I have had a positive experience when I visit Imperial. The staff a Imperial are friendly and helpful. The residents seem to like their staff and I do too. The amenities at imperial include an outdoor garden, and a rehabilitation exercise room. Imperial also has a big screen TV for viewing pleasure. In general, Imperial is a well kept facility and appears to be clean and free from offensive odor. The walk way is well decorated with flowers hung on an overhead passage. There is music playing softly as you enter the door. Imperial seems very inviting to visitors and residents alike. The individual resident bedrooms are well kept. There are two residents in a room. The rooms are situated in wings that are staffed by a Nurse, ward clerk and nurses aide. Residents are allowed to travel about freely and are not restricted to their rooms. Meals are served in a dining room setting and a menu is available to select from. Hot meals are served three times a day. The residents also have several snacks and coffee breaks throughout the day. Imperial also has activities for the residents to participate in. Some of the residents are allowed to leave the facility and transportation is provided. Each Sunday a church group comes to minister to the residents. Bible study is conducted every Tuesday. I think that Imperial takes good care of their residents and that it is a good assisted living provider.
