My friend was at Beaumont Commons, Farmington Hills for rehab. He had sepsis, and when he got out of the hospital, he was not able to do anything. So they got him back to being pretty functional. They did rehab five days a week. It was chair exercises, walking with his walker, going up and down stairs, and doing some machine exercises that they had there. The staff members were wonderful. They were always helpful. They were happy to see me. They would always say hello. They would say good night. They were good staff. In terms of upkeep, the facility was perfect. It was very, very clean. My friend's room was very nice. He was in a private room. In terms of the food, probably 80% of the time, he was happy with it.

Beaumont Commons Farmington Hills would have just been my second choice for my mom, but the apartment was just a tad bit smaller. They weren't as large as these apartments that we're going into. For amenities, they had dining as far as the food, and they had bus transportation. They had the same things. The staff members were informative. They had some amenities, but they didn't have quite as many amenities as the other place. It was very, very clean. It's kind of secluded, but they have restaurants and a hospital, they are near, but it sits back. You could miss it if you didn't know where you were going.

My mother was neglected at this facility. She fell and hit her call light for assistance. The call light was ignored multiple times and they left her on the floor, in pain ALL NIGHT.

Beaumont Commons has its own bistro, it's not a full-fledged restaurant, but it's a pretty nice size. They call it a bistro and it's located in the main lobby. I just like the location as well. It's kind of off from the main road. It's more like in a rural type setting, even though it's not rural per se, but it has that feel of a rural area and I like that. It had both independent living and in another portion assisted living, which is what my dad needs and they also have a skilled nursing facility that's next door. Well, the room that I looked at, in particular the studio, it's a nice size for him and had a very large walking closet, just one room, and the bathroom was pretty large. You could tell that it would be accessible to an individual that perhaps would need a wheelchair. So it would accommodate an individual for that. It was clean, the carpet was clean, there were no stains, no holes in the carpet, or anything of that nature. The food smelled good.

We moved my mom into Beaumont Commons in Farmington Hills. It has been excellent. It is an excellent community and an excellent place. We have known about it for a long time because my mother-in-law used to live there. The staff are wonderful. They checked on her the other day when she was not well. So they called the ambulance and she has gone to the hospital. They are very good there. The food is really good. So far, she likes it and she has no complaints. They have daily activities, an art room, a library, an exercise room, a beauty shop, and a chapel. Everything is there. They are excellent value for the money and I highly recommend this place.

Botsford Commons felt like a nursing home, so I didn't care for it too much. We loved the independent living, but the assisted living made people feel like they were in a hospital, so it wasn't as inviting. The rooms were standard and modern. You can bring a few things of your own. It was nothing impressive necessarily, and the place seemed clean, but we could pick up some odors. They were a little more expensive, but they had a lot of options for independent living, like condos.

Botsford Commons was an older place, but I liked it. Their rates were good and the size of the rooms were good, but they don't feed you. The residents were a little older.

I liked the environment in Botsford Commons. It's wooded, natural, and you had a lot of choices. They have condos, 2-bedroom apartments, assisted living, a rehab center, and a clinic. They have a pool.

Botsford Commons was very nice. I liked it because it was off of the beaten path. It was not by a busy highway, and it looked like an old neighborhood. I thought the grounds were pretty. One apartment I looked at overlooked a bridge and a pathway, and there were deer walking through there. I thought it was a very nice setup. It was an old building from the original brickwork, and it was just a very beautiful facility. I like Botsford because it looks more like a community. It looks like a neighborhood as opposed to assisted or senior living.

Botsford Commons was large and nice but too independent on the independent side for my mother and not nice enough on the assisted side. They had everything from independent condos, independent living, assisted living, respite care, nursing, to rehab. It's the whole 9 yards over there. The staff was very nice. Because of its large size, it was clean but not as clean as some of the others. It's near a major road in a neighborhood area, so it's kind of isolated. The people seemed happy, though. In the independent living, the rooms were smaller and older.

Botsford Commons was affordable for me, the apartment that I looked at was 2-bedroom and 2-bathroom, and that appealed to me. The size I was getting was better than what I’ve seen in others. They have a swimming pool, a gym room, a dining room, a library, a game room, and a theater.

We are going to sign my parents for Botsford Commons. My parents love Botsford Commons because it's right at the hospital that they attend, so they are very familiar with the physicians. I like Botsford Commons. I like the layout. The staff was very pleasant. I think they took great care of the residents. It was just put-together well, and my parents felt very comfortable. The staff did really good. My father has Alzheimer's, and my mom has a little memory loss, but she still can take care of herself pretty much. My father needs the majority of the care. The care that they provide for their patients with Alzheimer's was great. It still allowed my mom not to have to work so hard to take care of my dad and still have some freedom and some of her "me" time while the staff would take care of my father because he has Alzheimer's. I thought that was really good. It would take some pressure off my mom. She could feel comfortable knowing my dad was taken care of. The common areas were great. My parents felt very comfortable in there. It's very clean. The layout was great. I saw how the staff interacted with the residents and made us all feel very welcome and comfortable. I like the staff, the services they provide, and how connected they were to the patients and make them feel like family. They didn't feel like they were patients in a hospital.

Bostford Commons was very organized, very cheerful, and helpful. The room was small but neat and had just enough room. The staff was very helpful and very easy to work with.

Botsford Commons and its people were really nice. It was spread out. The staff was very accommodating. The rooms were a little bigger than the other place I visited. They had the swimming pool as soon as you come in, a library, and a nice exercise room. The lunch room was set up really pretty. I like it.

Botsford Commons is really great. It's an old Albert Kahn building that was built in 1923 with lovely architecture. The suites are bigger than the other places that we went to, and the ceilings are nine feett high. The food here is just so much better compared to the nursing home Mom went to. If there's anything you need for yourself, they will gladly give it to you. The kitchen is open from early in the morning until 6:30 at night. We had her 95th birthday party last week, and they catered it and did a lovely job. I can't say enough good things about it. The Admissions Director was just lovely. They are just so helpful, and everybody has been kind to my mother. I would totally recommend it. It has nice gardens in the front and in the back. Mom said she never had to wait for more than 10 minutes whenever she pushes the button that she wears around her neck, even in the middle of the night. They've been kind, nice, and helpful. There's a doctor in the building with a walk-in clinic in the afternoon, and it's really helpful because they've been really responsive.

Botsford Commons was also very nice place but priced out of our range. It seemed like they had a few amenities. They had an activity director and seemed to have a few things lined up for the residents to partake in. It was an attractive place. I talked to some of the families of some of the residents who said that they were happy having their folks there.

Botsford Commons is where my niece has decided to put my sister. It's very nice. The person who showed me around was very nice. There were two women who showed me around who were excellent and gave us answers even before we asked them, so they're very well-trained.

We found Botsford Commons for my mom last month. They have apartments, condominiums, assisted living, and long-term care. It is a multi-purpose place; they are capable with a lot of different levels of care. She didn't want to leave the area because she lived in Michigan, so it was perfect for her, it met her needs, and they were very helpful. The staff is wonderful, very caring, and very supportive. It is a clean, cheerful place. It is like they are living in a hotel. And all the people there are gracious and nice, the rooms are very nice, they have private and semi-private rooms, it is a very secure place, and the food is excellent. It is a good place, and I think I am very fortunate to have found this place for her. My friend's mom was there, so I just told her what was going on, and she told me to also check the place where her mom is. So we took a visit, we liked it, did the paperwork, and within three days, she was there. It is in a remote area, so there is not a lot of activity and traffic since it is in a woodsy area, but they have a lot of activities for them. They have concerts and a bus that can take them to activities, and the patients can leave with their families on the weekends if they want. It's an excellent place, and I recommend it. The way it is set up is they have four wings, so they have patients in different wings, and in each wing, they have a dining area. It is a place where the families can visit with them, or you can visit in their rooms if you like. They encourage them not to stay in their rooms, but to get up, come out, and be a part of the community, which is really important. The dining area is also the activity room, so they have activities for them in there, or they can watch television, play puzzle, read books, or look out the window. They have a separate patio with glass walls that are high, but it’s a patio with flowers, so everyone can sit outside and have another visiting area where you will be within all of that, there are tables and chairs, and you can visit with your family in this other area. It is highly secure, and the staff is wonderful.

My aunt is at Botsford Commons. She has been there for four months now. Without question, I would recommend this place to others. It is friendly and very professional. The cleanliness of the place is excellent. The staff is very professional. My aunt loves the food there. They also have activities, such as bingo and physical therapy.

My grandmother has MS and suffered a bad fall in her home two years ago. My family and I no longer felt comfortable with her living alone. We visited several assisted living facilities in the area before we decided on Botsford Commons. They are set up really cool and they offer single residences or roommate style. My grandma has a roommate because we wanted her to have someone to interact with. The best part about BC is the beautiful scenery and the staff. I swear they have become second family to us and truly are for my grandmother. They know what she likes, what her routine is and really accommodate her every need. This place is full service, too. They take care of laundry, meals, medication and personal care. There is a 24-hour nurse on duty, a physician's clinic on site and she is able to have physical therapy there as well. Botsford also has lots of activities to keep residents busy including visits from the local elementary and high school students who love to come and perform for the seniors. This will be the three years she has lived there and we have no complaints.

The grounds are beautiful, tranquil and serene. The staff is very friendly and concerned. My Mom needed to have rehab from a hospital stay. This facility is one of the best, I've seen in our State.

I think that Botsford Assisted Living facility is an excellent choice for placement for someone who is looking for placement for a friend or family member. Botsford Assisted Living facility is in a nice cul-de-sac neighborhood and the surrounding neighborhood is also a cul-de-sac neighborhood wooded area with pine tress surrounding the common grounds of the neighborhoods it is beautiful and so very tasteful to the eye. In addition to it have acres of land and greenery that is such a delight. While there, I noticed that the residents' rooms were very nicely decorated and beautiful and such pleasure to look at. The residents' rooms were very clean and did not smell. The entire facility was very well maintained, decorated and structured. The management and staff there treat their residents like family. The residents there interact with one another and they were very happy there also. The food their looked good and it smelled good also. The management and staff there were very visible for their residents to see them and appeared to be very attentive to their residents as well. I know that anyone 50 and over would like it there and their residents receive excellent care there also. They also offer their residents there a vast majority of services, activities, and recreational activities as well. In general, I would rank Botsford Assisted Living facility on a five stars rating for their excellence and expertise.
