I am a friend or relative of resident

I am stunned that this facility is still open. My father was there for about 2 weeks and i was scared to death every night he was there. The care was so bad i couldnt tell a nurse from a cna from a maintenance man. My father lost nearly 30 lbs in that short of time-- he was starving !! The attitude of the entire place was poor. The condition of the place was deplorable-- I would expect to see a place like this to be on Dateline. I can honestly say i have never been to a more poorly run facility. My sister started crying as soon as we walked in the door . He was referred to this facility by a doctor -- so although it was a long way from his home we went along with the recommendation - upon seeing it we started looking for a safe clean facility-it took us 2 weeks to find one and it was the longest 2 weeks of our lives. Please dont let a loved one near this facility--- Its scary that the State has let this facility operate -- some one needs to look into this place NOW!!

I am a friend or relative of a resident

They transported my mother from the previous facility to Whitehall, but that place was even worse. I only left her there for a week, and I took her out of there. Whitehall was filthy, dirty, and disgusting. Their physical therapy room looks like a closet with a bunch of junk thrown in it. I'm actually going to call Medicare about that place. The look of it is filthy, and it always smells. It's just not a clean place. She was staying in a two person room which she shared with another patient. They had arts and crafts in the dining room. When I first walked in, I told them I didn't like the place and I didn't think I should leave my mother there. They said I wasn't giving them a chance, so I went ahead and gave them a chance. But she didn't stay that long. Everything of my mother's kept coming up missing or lost and was never found. They were going to reimburse us, but never reimbursed us for anything. So I was just like forget it.

    I am/was a resident of this facility

This facility is very bad, I am a resident and in for rehabilitation, it takes 1-2 hours for someone to come once you push the call light, the elderly residents are severely neglected, I was given the wrong medication, and many people have been taken to the hospital in the last 2 weeks, as well as many deaths. The hippa laws are ignored, the very limited staff talk freely about your conditions in front of everyone. The staff is very argumentative amongst each other as well as to residents. I hope I make it out alive!!

I am a friend or relative of a resident

I am a family member of a resident of White Hall Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. In general, I thought White Hall Nursing Rehabilitation and Nursing Center was an excellent choice for someone who is looking for an excellent placement for a friend or family member. White Hall Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is beautiful inside and out with a cozy cul-de-sac appearance. The grounds of the facility are beautiful and wooded in appearance that tends to set off a cozy cul-de-sac look it is so heart warming to see. The common areas of the facility are in a very beautiful wooded like area and the beauty of the trees and landscape is just simply breath taking. The surrounding neighborhood is also that of a cul-de-sac appearance as well. The residents' rooms are beautiful and nice and clean and have no smell the residents’ rooms are of beige and earth tone colors that all bend very well together and compliment the facility. The residents rooms are very formal but of a contemporary style living. The residents were all very happy when I visited my grandmother there and they were also interacting with one another also. The staff and management of the facility are very dedicated to the residents, professional, and team, task, oriented in their job duties and performance. I think the residents receive excellent care there. While I was there, I noticed that staff was serving the residents various kinds of snacks as the residents were watching a movie. They were serving the residents juice, coffee, tea, Frito corn chips, potato chips, popcorn, and various other snacks. The residents conveyed to me that they like it there and that the staff there treats them like family. I would have to give White Hall Rehabilitation and Nursing Center a five star rating for their excellence and expertise. Overall, White Hall Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is an excellent choice for placement for someone who is looking for a placement for a friend or a family member that would like to interact with some very nice people. I would recommend it to everyone, anyone or to anyone 50 and over because I know that they would do well there and I know that they would like it there.
