The experience we have had at Hope Health Care has had its ups and downs. The staff is either on the good side of the spectrum or the bad. The nurses, some of them really know how to do their job. I have really liked a few of them, and others well I don't understand how they got a job there. The social workers they have there are great. They are willing to work with you 110% on everything you need. Hope has plenty of things to do for the elderly, game days, sing a-longs, bingo, and sometimes they even go out on outings. There was one time they went to a baseball game, my mother in-law loved it. The meals they serve there are pretty good. Usually they have a couple different choices, just in case someone doesn't like the "main" course, they have substitutes for them. All in all, I would recommend it to anyone that needs assisted living, they are kind and courteous at Hope and I am glad we picked them.

Cherry Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation Home was an older building, but it's pretty well maintained. I checked several nursing homes, and none of them are wonderful places to be by any means. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would probably give it about a 7. Most of the staff were very caring and concerned. There were a few that were marginal. The majority of the staff, though, was OK. They have movie night, a religious night where they have a pastor or priests come in, or some religious person come in, and they do prayers, and they have shopping excursions a couple of times a month. They play bingo. My friend was bedridden, and so he never did any of those things. He complained that the food was pretty bad. They need to have more staff. Like everybody else, they're always short-staffed. The facilitator and the social worker were both very, very good. They were more than willing to help me answer any questions. Even the general manager of the place has called me a couple of times after my friend passed away to see how I was doing and to tell me that there was mail there for him.

My mother is a resident of Cherry Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation until we can get her someplace closer to us. She doesn't care for it. They are not as patient with her as they should be. They lost some of her clothing. My mother seems to eat OK, so I guess the food is good. Otherwise, she wouldn't eat it. Her room is about average size. The upkeep of the facility is pretty good. She is more of a homebody, so she doesn't care about their activities. They have activities like movies, cards, and bingo games.

My mom was at Cherry Hill Nursing Home for two months. We couldn't speak to her, and she couldn't use her phone. We had no communication with her. The day they took my mom to the doctor and my sister met them there, my mom was so weak and so far gone downhill. It was pathetic. She couldn't even lift her own arm. These people should have notified us, 'Your mom is nauseated!' My sister works in the pharmacy, and when she was clearing up my mom's prescription account, she found a prescription for nausea that was never picked up by the nursing home. I do not have any good reviews for them whatsoever, though some of the staff members were very polite. We were never allowed inside at all. We don't even know what the inside of the facility looks like. We were able to go to the window at her room and wave through the window.

My grandmother is in Hope Healthcare Center, and she seems OK. She likes her nurses, and I don't have to worry. They're friendly and nice. Cleanliness is fine but could be better. They have church, bingo, and movies. I think if the seniors are able to, they could go on trips.

Stay far away from this place. The staff does not have a care in this world. They are serving spoiled food to the patients and not considerate for those with special dietary needs ( diabetic). The smell when you walk thru the hallways is horrendous due to neglect in caring for patients.

Resident care service employees are very careless and lazy. Personal specially who work in the evening and night shift are on their cell phones while the patient need help and there is no management around to watch them and take disclipinary action. Upper management need to be replaced completely. Horrible place to keep your loved ones at this location.
