Read your lease carefully.you have to have professional carpet cleaners clean your rugs yearly and when you move out!!! They will find reasons. To keep as much of your deposit as possible. To keep your deposit. You have to scrub the baseboards, buy new stove drip pans, clean filter on stove if they find dust you get money deducted. You get charged two extra days because they won’t do inspection for two days after carpets are cleaned

Shelby Park Manor is for people 55 and over. They don't allow pets. The staff member was very nice and polite. The neighbors are nice. A resident let me come into her apartment to get a look at it. Hers was a two-bedroom, and the one I'm looking for is a one-bedroom. There is no gym and no pool. It was just senior living apartments. The area is really nice. They have new apartments on one side. The older apartments had no updates, but they were still nice. The newer apartments have newer appliances and everything like that. They are younger adults in the newer apartments. They have a washer and dryer in the unit. They do have activities.

My mother is moving into Shelby Park Manor. They were super nice. I wish they were a little more digital versus having to write checks. They had open availability and everyone else was six months or out of her budget. They're super nice and clean. It's very quiet there, which works out, and they seem to care about what's going on. So that's amazing. The staff was super helpful. I asked them a whole bunch of questions, which they probably thought was annoying, but they were helpful in every way. They don't necessarily offer meals, but the Meals on Wheels does come to the location with no problems. Plus, my mom cooks, so that'll help. They've got various clubs and other such places. If you want to have a family gathering, they have a nice little area right in the apartment complex that you could go into and use. I didn't ask a lot about it because ,for the most part, my mom likes to stay inside.

Shelby Park Manor was the only one that was open at the time when I needed to move in. It was excellent, they worked with me. They let me go in, look, and see which apartment I wanted. I looked at three different types, and the one that I picked, they locked it in for me. They have a dining area, but because of COVID-19 there's nobody going into it. There's no activities here. You know it's COVID-19, so even if they had them I would not go to them. The facade is modern.
