"Mother is living in Town Village, and I decided to increase the support that she’s getting there to see how it works out. They don’t provide assisted living themselves; they have a company that comes there if you hire them. I don't have any problems at all with this facility. The staff is very helpful, very kind, and very dedicated. Any time I’ve had a concern, they addressed it immediately. She has early stages of Alzheimer's and was kind of isolating herself. She’s on the third story and the hallways are real long. She has COPD, so it’s hard for her to go anywhere. I’m a little bit worried about that because of the way the building is set up, but it’s a beautiful facility. The rooms are very nice and very well maintained. She has a one-bedroom, but they also have two-bedrooms. The swimming pool was another reason why I decided to keep her there because it’s one activity that my mother will consistently engage in. She has a cat that she loves and able to keep there. "

"I'm at Baldwin House Oakland. I've been here for over a year now. The experience is very good although they went through four cooks in a year. Food was not good for a year. Everything else is fine, and the food is getting better. The staff is wonderful. They redo all the rooms when somebody moves in, so it's like a fresh, brand-new apartment. I have a one-bedroom, and it has a stove and a refrigerator. They provide meals here. It has a bedroom and it's carpeted. It's nice. They've got a workout room, a pool room, a game room, and a chapel. For activities, they have bingo, horse racing, and Wii almost every day of the week, and they have a movie theater where they show movies."

"My tour at Elmhaven Manor went pretty well. The issue was the shower. The apartment was really clean, it was a nice size actual apartment. It was a one-bedroom apartment. It had a full-size kitchen in there. It was really clean. It was move-in ready. The issue was just the shower wasn't accommodating for my mom. Everything else would have worked, but the shower wasn't accommodating. It was nice. I would have loved that one. It was right up the street, and it gave her a little patio balcony area out there. There were lots of pluses with that one. There were some utilities that you have to pay for, but the price was $1500. The lady told me $60 for both gas and electric, which would have brought her up to $1600 and we're still well underneath that, but no meals were provided yet. She would have to make her own meals, or I would have to go over there and cook it and that wasn't an issue, and I didn't see that being a problem. I would have chosen that one because of the price, and the location is OK. Overall, it was nice. The staff was welcoming. I didn't have a problem with that one. Maintenance looks good and cleanliness was good, too. Some amenities weren't included, which was fine, and that's something we were willing to go ahead and do, but the shower just wasn't going to work."

"This particular American House Village at Bloomfield has just opened on November 1st, so the building is beautiful, and the apartments are beautiful. However, they're not quite up to speed on everything they offer. Like they don't have a shuttle that goes anywhere and the shuttle is just for planned excursions. On a lot of things that I asked about, they were still in the works. They don't have everything implemented yet. We had a meal there, and their food was high quality. It was very good. The cook came out and talked to us about how he cooks and his style. He was very personable. It's a brand new building. However, a lot of services haven't been implemented yet."

"I visited Pine Ridge of Plumbrook. The rooms were quite adequate and more impressive than the other places that I looked at. The staff seemed very responsive. They seemed to have quite an activity. They had movies, outing, crafts, and bingo. What stood out to me was that everything was inclusive. I would consider the place for my loved one. "

"I liked the independent living. I like the fact that it seemed homier, and when you walked in, it was big. It wasn't like a small area you walked into and they had the dining room to the right. The food was fantastic, they had me on a lunch tour. The apartments are nice. I liked everything about it. The staff I met, her name was Miranda, was fantastic. She's a very sweet girl and answered all my questions. She was helping out in the dining room too and was just a nice girl. They have a beauty salon and a barber salon. They have a coffee station where you can get whatever you want to drink there. They have a nice exercise room. It's a 5-star any way I look at it."

"OMG since I moved here my days are so m uch better infact there excellent. The whole company is so accommodating and so caring. The activities department is so much fun and have alot of activities and entertainment! Its a wonderful experience and I know you would be so happy living here because I am so so so happy 😊 "

"I visited Magnolia by the Lakes, and I liked it very much. It just wasn't the right place for my husband. Everything was lovely, like the cleanliness, the staff, and the food. Everything was lovely. It was very beautiful. There were plenty of activities. The staff were very friendly. The facility was lovely. I was very impressed. It was clean. Everything about it was lovely; I could see myself living there."

"Pine Ridge Hayes was recommended to us by a friend and we found everything we were told to be true. The facility is well kept and inviting, with rooms that are well designed for comfortable living. The administration was very helpful during our mom's entire stay. The Parental Care staff was exceptional. The kitchen and cleaning staffs were always helpful and pleasant, which made my mom feel very much at home. She enjoyed the activities, particularly the music presentations. It was a wonderful experience for my mother and I would highly recommend Pine Ridge Hayes. "

"American House was fine. Lorraine was very helpful. She took me up to the second floor to look at the apartment, and she explained everything to me. She was very informative and friendly. The facility was OK, but they didn't have good access to parking. I had to walk quite a distance to get to the building where I had to park. It is so congested and they didn't have enough space to park over there. Luckily, I'm not handicapped, I can walk OK, but the layout seemed fine, and the apartment looked nice."

"We chose it for my mom, and she will be moving in the place soon. The staff was very friendly, and the place was incredibly clean. We were very impressed. We have been treated very well. They are helping us to make it a smooth transition for my mom because it was a hard thing. Overall, we were very pleased. "

It’s good to have peace of mind knowing that others are caring for our mom like family. StoryPoint Clinton has large rooms for each resident and large beautiful common areas for residents to move around and enjoy. The entire facility is clean and kept clean. The food is top notch like you would get at a nice restaurant and they have large variety of offerings. The staff really keeps the residents engaged and busy with things to do each day. "I liked Lockwood of Waterford basically. The rooms were nice, and it was apartment living. I found out that the meal included was only dinner, and it was served at a certain time. The staff who assisted me was very nice and very helpful. She was telling me about their activities and how the entire family would be invited which was important to me because I've got lots of grandkids. It was easy to get to places if I needed to because they have a shuttle. The dining area looked really nice. "
