"Baldwin House Lakeside is clean and friendly. The rooms are very nice, spacious, clean, and bright. The staff members are caring and nice. They offer meals, laundry, and housekeeping. There's a medical team on staff, and they offer activities for the seniors as well. They have a little library, a chapel, and an activity room. My mom eats the food, and she likes it. They have good offerings of food. It's reasonably priced considering how expensive it can be."

"My sister and I are extremely pleased with Pine Ridge. The apartments are spacious, the hallways and common areas are always clean, smell fresh and there seems to always be a new project going to improve the look of the facility. Mary, Anne Marie, and Terri have been so helpful to make sure that our parents have what they need. DeeDee on the cleaning staff has been so kind and the young girls waiting on tables in the dining room seem to always know what our parents want before they ask. Thank you Pine Ridge - you are a blessing!!"

"Lockwood of Clinton was the best facility in terms of rooms. The rooms were the nicest. They had washer and dryer inside the unit, plus the kitchen was good sized with pantry. I like the rooms the best. The facility was nice. They had an entertainment room and a gazebo. The staff was very nice and helpful, but I didn't get as much interaction. The location was OK; it's close to my home, but it's not near any shopping area."

"We are moving into Atria Shorehaven next month. The place was very clean, the staff was very cordial and all very good. The apartments are big, the grounds are nice, and they have many activities. There was a whole board listed throughout the day of what they will be having for the residents. "

"We chose American House Sterling Meadows for my mother. It's lovely, and it's working out quite well. The apartment is quite nice, it's nice. My mom doesn't have an appetite, she's not eating much, but she likes the soup. Right now, because of COVID, they don't have anything. It was more convenient in location."

"American House East II was a very nice place, and the staff was very nice. The food was very good; my sister and I had lunch there, but as we walked by and said, "Hello," the residents would just look at us. I don't know if it came from the staff down to the residents or if it was just they had a lot of lazy or hungry residents. It was almost lunch time, and maybe they were all hungry. The dining area was very nice. The choices on the menu were varied and nutritional. My mother said that she's gained ten pounds since she's been there; before living here, she was living alone and not eating correctly. I liked the little patios that they had for each resident. They either had a balcony if they were on the second floor or a nice little patio where they could get outside."

"We are living at the American House in Roseville. It's a very well-managed and friendly place to live. It has very nice accommodations. They have three meals a day and they have lots of activities. The rooms are very nice and very clean. Our apartment-style room was freshly painted and given new carpeting before we moved in. There are several American houses in the area that are very popular. The staff is marvelous and the residents are very friendly."

"I went to American House East I. I liked everything about it. It was quiet. It was very clean. The people were friendly. When I went in, the seniors there were very friendly, and it made you feel comfortable when you walked through the door. I didn't know exactly where I was going and they assisted like, hey, go around there, see such and such and everything. So that right there walking through the door helped me feel a little more comfortable. In the quarters themselves, the living quarters, I went in, they were very clean. It was nice and spacious, exactly what a person would want. The first place I went, the person was wonderful. And the second place I went, the person was wonderful. She took me all through and showed me everything. They were very thorough in their job and they explained and answered my questions and shared things about the facility that I would need to know if I were to move in. So they were excellent in both locations. I was very, very, very impressed. It was very clean. That's the first thing that I recognized going in. I was looking around. It was very, very clean and each building was very clean. The first building was extremely clean."

"My Mom is living at Pine Ridge of Plumbrook Senior Living and our family is 100% happy. After looking at every other place for my Mom we decided on Pine Ridge. It is not only the cleanest place we've seen but it's the friendliest. The entire staff is like family to everyone. There is always an activity or outing planned for those who want to join in. The food is good and they are always taking suggestions and trying to meet the needs of all. Opportunities to leave the building and go shopping or take field trips or out for a meal are offered weekly. Entertainment is brought in 1-2 times per week. The staff at Pine Ridge go above and beyond what is expected and is done in a friendly, caring manner."

"I like American House Sterling Heights. I like best that it's more of a residential-style setting. I like the fact that it's one story. I found them to be very friendly and very nice. It's a good location. I toured their independent living but then they have like a la carte services. I happened to go through the dining area, and the food looked OK, but I wouldn't call it the highest quality. They have a rehab room. a separate sitting room, and a little movie area."

"American House Sterling Woods seemed nice, and I think it would fulfill my brother's needs, but I'm not sure if my brother is able to move into a place like that where he would be living with other people because he's been living alone for quite a while. The staff seemed very helpful. The meal preparation and the eating areas were very nice. I looked at a one-bedroom, and it was very nice. The kitchen, the living room, the bathroom, and the bedroom were nice. It looked like a small hotel room."

"American House Lakeshore was nice, friendly, and clean. The rooms were a little bigger than the other ones we looked at, and they were very adequate. The staff during the tour was very nice and very straightforward about everything. They were having a music-type program with the people in memory care, which was well attended, and it seemed like they were enjoying it. The facility seemed to be well maintained. I noticed the carpeting was kind of needing repair, but they told me it's all being replaced with wooden floors. They had a fitness room and a library."

"I went to look at Windemere Park Warren. The room seemed spacious, and I liked how they had a private bath. The outside and common areas were very nice. The employees were very helpful. The courtyard had a nice gazebo and patio area. Everything was very clean. The facility was nicely decorated. They have a swimming pool, a little chapel, and a workout area."

"My mother has moved into Cranberry Park at ShorePointe. The staff is very friendly, compassionate, and professional and has been since the day we walked in the door. They checked all the boxes for us. We looked at a lot of facilities, and this is a facility that just felt like home and had a very professional yet very kind staff. They have activities, three meals, and a full medical staff because they're connected with the rehab facility and skilled nursing facility, so that's a good asset as well."
