"Mary's Residential Care for Seniors was a nice place. The rooms were kind of small and they don't have showers in the rooms, but the overall condition of the place was nice. The staff were really nice and very friendly. They have somebody on staff who makes meals, so you can order the meal you want. You don't have to take what they give you. They have different activities in memory care. The dining area was nice. They had a really nice living area, too. They even have a patio."

"The people at Pine Ridge of Garfield were friendly. We liked that there was a courtyard for gardening. We liked the apartments, and we liked the choices in the food department. We did try a meal. They were painting and updating everything, so that looked nice. They offer freshly prepared from scratch soups every day. We saw some common areas, but I wasn't really impressed with them because they were very small."

"I toured Windemere Park Warren. I liked that they're very open and energetic with their residents. They communicate with them like they're human and not like they're just patients or the elderly. They talk to them like they're adults. The facility was nice and clean. The management team that helped me out, was very thorough and very nice. The staff was very nice. They have a theater room. I liked the area where they hold the church service. They made it look like it was an actual church with the pews. They have a pool as well. I liked it because it made it look like they were still at home instead of a facility."

"The staff of American House Sterling Heights was very friendly and helpful. They wanted to know who we were doing the tour for, when my mother might be coming, and what her name was. They were very upbeat and very friendly, as well as the residents. They do not have washers and dryers in the rooms, so all the laundry is done by the facility itself, and then they have a couple of small courtyards."

"The Gardens of Clinton was very clean. The lady who gave us the tour was very polite. The apartments were very clean and very pleasant. They had different activities during the week like tennis. They had a pool table and a TV room. They also had a cafeteria. It was very peaceful and quiet. "

"My parents moved to American House Sterling Woods. It's very good, clean, and the service is great. It's just a nice place overall. It's the best place I went to. They're very friendly, they make you feel welcomed, and it's just a nice environment. The food was really good, it was tasty, presented very well, and it was seasoned very well. "I love Park Place, but it was big. It was two storeys, and I was trying to stick to a one-storey place for my mother. It was just beautiful. It made you feel like you're on vacation. I like their dining setup. When you walk in, you see all the tables, and everyone was friendly. They had a lot of activities -- indoors and bus trips -- and they had a theater inside. I just wish it was cheaper. "

"I toured Stonefield of Clinton Township. They were pretty clean and looked nice. They were very polite and nice and walked around with us, but didn't have the answers to some of our questions. They have a dining room, but she said they haven't gotten that program up and moving yet because there weren't enough residents, so that's what I was concerned about."

"I went to Villa Bella and liked it a lot. The staff was top notch. They had somebody in the foyer doing folk songs; it was their gathering for the afternoon, and I thought that was really nice. What I really liked is their whole décor and the layout of the floors. It was very warm, beautifully decorated, had nice carpeting, and had a really unique layout on the floors, not just on the hallways. You can rent a family room for a party for $45, but there’s no refund. They have popcorn on demand and a great theater room. There was a child’s room for when you go to visit, kids have a place to go. They have games, crafts, and Barre classes. They did not have too many choices for food. "

"My mom has been living at StoryPoint Clinton Twp for almost a year. She absolutely loves it and her mood has improved since living there. We moved her from her condo where she lived alone and didn’t get involved much. She went to the bingo hall once a week but that was often times her only socialization. She finally told us that she needs more friends. We toured different senior livings but she ultimately chose StoryPoint. She loves not having to cook and clean anymore and also receives laundry services, which she also loves! Her favorite part of StoryPoint is the schedule of activities and entertainment. They have weekly live music performances, church services, bingo and a book club. I now have scheduled times to talk to my mom throughout the week because of how busy she is! It makes me feel good that she is making friends and isn’t so lonely anymore. The staff in every department is amazing too, very helpful and supportive."
