I like the way Kingsley Senior Living was laid out because it goes in a circle. The hallway is not real big. When my friend comes out of her room, she'll end up back in her room eventually. That's one thing that I liked about it. They have a little alcove with a couch and two chairs. If I was going to visit her, we could stop in the hallway and sit down, and look outside. The room is large. It's got its own shower in it. When you walk in the door, it has a countertop with a sink, which I like because we will get her an icemaker to put in the corner there. Afterall, she likes her water and ice. You could get even a small refrigerator and fit it underneath it. She could even get a loveseat in there. It's pretty good sized. It has a movie theater with chairs in it. It's not really big, but half of them are probably in wheelchairs anyway. The dining area was very nice, and they could pick their own time to eat. If they don't want to eat at say 8:00, they can go in and eat at 10:00. It's just super, super clean, and everybody's so friendly. I fell in love with it. I told her I was gonna move in with her. Nick gave us the tour. He was great. It's open and airy. They have a courtyard that they open up in the summertime at a certain hour, and they leave it open so they can go out there on their own.

We were only in Kingsley Senior Living for a little bit of time. They only had rooms available on the second floor. Since my dad's 96 years old and uses a walker, I thought that was going to be tough. The facility was very clean. At the time, their price was lower than what I'm paying right now. The lady who gave the tour was very informative. They have a gym and a movie theater. The dining area was nice and the courtyard was nice. It's a new facility.
