They also have a list of their curriculum that they're doing (like movie nights). The dining area was clean."

"I did an in-person tour of The Waterford in Perrysburg. It was very informative, very pleasant, and overall, it was a good experience. The staff was pleasant, informative, and helpful. We got to see the rooms, and we walked around, so we also got to see the activities. We got to see the little pub where they have cocktail hours. We saw the dining facility and the library. I think we saw everything that we could have. The rooms we saw were very spacious and clean. For activities, they have exercise, bocce-ball competitions, some movies, and cocktail hours."

"During Covid we moved our Mother to Story Point. The Staff made this difficult transaction / handoff happen under the worst of times in 2020. They have picnics, and every two weeks they would have some kind of my fair lady or some kind of Broadway theme, a little cocktail party, or a little get together. They try to do some things for the residents to keep them active and socialize with each other. "

"We looked into Sterling House of Monroe. It was close to where my mother resided in her own home. However, we found out there was a Sterling House of Oklahoma City, which was near my brother, so we put her there. The Monroe facility is clean and small, which is what my mom preferred. The staff was extremely helpful. They were very good about telling us that if we decided to have my mom in Monroe, MI and later on decide to move her closer to a family member in Oklahoma, there would be no changes in fee schedule or services or any of that unless it was called for. We were really impressed with the consistency in this organization. "

"We toured Alice Lorraine Care Center. It was super clean. They're very nice and very helpful people to work with. As far as decoration is concerned, it was very nice, and the grounds were beautiful. Even though we weren't there when the flowers were blooming, you could just see that they had a nice garden area. They have a gazebo. Every room has one or at least two windows, so you could see out onto the grounds. There is a nice big window that looks out on a wall and the wall has statues and things to make it look pretty. Out of all the places that I have looked, Alice Lorraine Care Center felt warm, cozy, and friendly. And the people that were living there were smiling and were involved with each other, playing games and playing cards in one area. Some were just watching television, but you could tell that they were very involved in that home and the residents there. The staff who gave the tour was very helpful. She showed us the kitchen area and the snacks available. Anytime somebody wants a snack, they could have somebody get it for them or they could get it themselves. The cook that was there was starting to make lunch, and it smelled good."

"A&R Premiere Care just had new add-ons to their facilities. What I liked the most about it was the lady that runs it is a nurse and then her husband is also a healthcare person. I think he's a physical therapist or something. They were both very nice and very helpful."

"My mother is in Charlotte Stephenson. It is a very attractive building and has very warm feeling. The attendants are pleasant and caring. The rooms are clean. My mother is moving to a larger room next week. The bathroom is immaculate, spacious, and very safe. They empty the waste basket in the room every day. We are very pleased with the care. They offer activities every day, and everything seems to be fine. They accommodate Father for a modest fee. He has dinner with Mother every night at a special table set aside so the two of them may eat together. We are very happy with it."

"We toured Brookdale Adrian, we walked in and loved it immediately. It was big and open, and it did not have that funny smell when you go to places like this one. We got to tour the rooms, they were spacious, and every room had a patio. It was just lovely. The gal that we talked to and all the staff that we talked to have been amazing. They're just very helpful and kind, and I've seen them interact with the residents. And the residents even said that they loved it there. I was looking at independent living, but there's also the option to move to assisted living there. They were very concerned, very helpful, and answered all my questions. We saw their activities calendar and it was chock full every day. They had three or four activities going on every day, and there were things that I knew my that father-in-law would enjoy. And they also offered church."

I observe how they treated not only my mom but other residents. I’m so impressed with everyone we have encountered and Molly G was a HUGE help & blessing to our family!
