"I toured Vibrant Life Temperance. It was clean and organized, giving off a warm feeling. It's a little like a dormer. They have a bed, a closet, a TV, and a chair, just like a hotel room. I've been working with Nick, and he was good. They can go outside on the deck, and there's a lot for them to do besides sitting in the building. The facility has a little pond with seating and chairs, making it really nice, and they're served three meals a day."

"We chose Landings of Oregon for my mom because it's clean, the amenities that they offered, and the price. Her room is clean, no stains on the carpet and no smells. The staff was polite and professional. It seemed everybody was enjoying themselves, and all the patients seem to be well cared for. It didn't smell. They have a menu for their diet. They also have a list of their curriculum that they're doing (like movie nights). The dining area was clean."

"The Waterford at Levis Commons is a really nice place. The staff is friendly and helpful. My father seems to be enjoying it there. He's making acquaintances and seems OK. They have all the levels of care from independent to assisted to memory. As for the activities, they read, play games, do artwork, and interact with other people. Dad has his own bedroom with his own furniture. "

"StoryPoint Waterville is absolutely beautiful. It's new, it's only a few years old, so everything was up-to-date, there was no old carpeting or wear and tear in the building yet. We saw the independent living and it had a very elegant feel. The staff was very pleasant and very nice, but a little pushy. The dining area was more like restaurant quality. It looked like they had a lot of activities and amenities to offer. There was a lot going on. They were having a beauty contest when we were there. They were modeling clothes and walking the show and everything."

"Otterbein Pemberville SeniorLife Community had nice social areas for the people to go to. Everything was set up very well. It was very welcoming. The one lady that I had interactions with was very nice. The facility was very nice, clean, and updated. The layout was nice."

They have picnics, and every two weeks they would have some kind of my fair lady or some kind of Broadway theme, a little cocktail party, or a little get together. They try to do some things for the residents to keep them active and socialize with each other. "

"Alice Lorraine Care Center is very nice. The staff is adequately proportion to the number of residents. The food is good and the place does not have the nursing home feel. "

"A&R Premiere Care just had new add-ons to their facilities. What I liked the most about it was the lady that runs it is a nurse and then her husband is also a healthcare person. I think he's a physical therapist or something. They were both very nice and very helpful."

"My mother is in Charlotte Stephenson. It is a very attractive building and has very warm feeling. The attendants are pleasant and caring. The rooms are clean. My mother is moving to a larger room next week. The bathroom is immaculate, spacious, and very safe. They empty the waste basket in the room every day. We are very pleased with the care. They offer activities every day, and everything seems to be fine. They accommodate Father for a modest fee. He has dinner with Mother every night at a special table set aside so the two of them may eat together. We are very happy with it."

"My mom just moved in the assisted living. I cannot say enough about the staff here. Being a nurse myself, I’m pretty particular. I have loved the way they treat patients like family. I observe how they treated not only my mom but other residents. I’m so impressed with everyone we have encountered and Molly G was a HUGE help & blessing to our family! "The one I like the most was Swan Creek. It had everything. It had restaurant-style dining, it had a kitchen and a bath, and the apartment was fully equipped. It had different levels of care, so you would never be asked to leave. They have a library, but they didn't have a pool. They have everything everybody else has and maybe even more. They have the same level of activities. They have a fit room. They also have a happy hour. "

"AVIVA Glendale is a small place and it's very nice. I think it'll be perfect for my mother. She doesn't want to go to a gigantic facility. What I like best is that it's all on one floor. There are no elevators. It's more like a cozy feeling. It's a very simple floor plan. There's just one common area and then there are five hallways off of it and that is it. The landscaping was beautiful and I can put a birdfeeder outside her window. She would love that. The place was very clean and it smelled good. The person who I talked to was very knowledgeable and very professional. It was just a good experience in every way. I also like that you have to punch in a code at the door to get out. People can't just leave. The rooms were very nice. They had a lot of activities to offer. We just liked everything about it. Me, my brother and sister-in-law went. We only came into contact with the person who gave us the tour. She told us a lot of things without us asking and answered all of our questions. It was very cheerful. The whole inside, the way they have it decorated and painted and the colors that they chose are very cheerful. It just made a good impression on all of us."
