My friend is a resident of Brookdale Bowling Green. I think they've been fantastic. They took her at a moment's notice when she was getting out of the hospital, and I have not had one complaint since I've had her there in the last two years. They have them baking, and playing games and they celebrate their birthdays with all kinds of goodies. The staff has been in, even through the pandemic times. They kept all their patients and followed the rules; my friend never got anything, and the doctor and staff did a great job. She's been well cared for, and she doesn't have any complaints. They're always friendly. One of the things that I like about them is their security system, because I had her at another place when she was still pretty well, and she kept getting out of that place. Here, only the staff has the codes and they let you in and out, so that's a nice extra thing as well. I've never had any food, but they seem to have good meals.

Brookdale Bowling Green was very nice. The people were really, really personable and caring. The staff was really nice, answered all our questions, explained everything, and even talked about finances. The facility was very clean and very well-kept. That's what I liked most about it. I was very impressed with it. The rooms were very nice, with new appliances and completely remodeled. The location was even better. It was easy to go to, and it was in a nice setting. It wasn't far from the main places in the city to go shopping, so it was really convenient.

Our experience with Brookdale Bowling Green has been good. My grandmother does not like it, but it is what it is. She's not really talking to me at the moment, but when I call and check on her and speak to her nurses, they say she's becoming social and starting to come around a little bit. I was able to learn the different rooms that they offer, the sizes, and their meals. They just started opening up their cafe and all that again, and slowly starting to let members of the community come back out and eat together while still socially distancing. But at least they're able to come out of their rooms now more. I was able to get an idea of her day and what all goes into her day. They've all been super great. The staff that I've spoken with has been phenomenal. She keeps me up-to-date with anything and everything, so I'm quite pleased. Given the circumstances of Covid-19, our overall experience has gone as good as it can go. Everybody's really trying their best given Covid-19, it's different, but overall it has not been bad. The building itself is pristine outdoorwise. I've not been inside obviously, I've not seen where she's staying given Covid-19. I am aware that last week, they opened their dining, and they informed me that my grandmother has started coming out to some of the activities, but I'm not sure what those activities are.

My husband is in Brookdale Bowling Green. They have very nice single rooms. It has a sleeping area, a sitting area, a bathroom, a microwave, and a stove, and it's very adequate. Because of the virus they're eating in their rooms and there's very little activity. They try to get bingo in the hallways and do some other things. They have a facility for people who have Alzheimer's. The food is OK. They get three meals a day. The breakfast is pretty standard. They have bacon and eggs, sausage, and cold or hot cereal. Lunch is the main meal of the day and they get five choices, and the same for dinner. They serve wine or beer and that's part of lunch or dinner. They dispense his medication for him, and they have someone help him pick out his clothes. It's very friendly and very warm. Everything is clean. They take good care of the facility. The staff is very good. They have a lovely courtyard in the center where they have flowers and nice seating, and they have sunrooms. It's a good facility, but it's old.

Brookdale Bowling Green was nice and a good place. They showed me everything, the dining, the different kinds of rooms. They talked to me and asked me about my dad. They were very thorough. They were good, and I'm actually considering this place. The staff who gave the tour was also good. I felt at home and I liked it, they made me feel comfortable. The facilities are all good.

Brookdale Bowling Green was very nice. Everyone was very friendly. The residents were active. The rooms that I saw were occupied, and the residents had company then and were happy. The rooms were all small, but they seemed fine. There was a hairdresser in the beauty shop. There were people in the dining area. There was a little kitchen area that's available for use for the residents. They take the residents to activities in the area. I know in the summer, the parks have activities, and they take residents to that.

Brookdale Bowling Green had upscale stuff and program for memory care people who were still in functioning mode. They did have people, who were in more advanced stages of memory care, but they had memory care people who were still higher functioning, and they did a lot of activities to try to stimulate the memories and cognitive issues that people still have. They involve a lot of university young people in their program and visitation, and they are very open to visitors. I know there is a gentleman in the neighborhood that has a loved one in the facility. He walks his dog, and he just comes in; the residents know his dog and he talks to them. It seemed like a very comfortable place to drop in and say hello. They have clientele who are retired professors from Bowling Green State University and have memory care issues, so they do a lot to try and meet the needs of those with memory care issues, not those that are really just in the Alzheimer’s state who are most of the time not sure where they are. They try to meet their needs and go from there.

Brookdale Bowling Green is an excellent community. They have picnics, and every two weeks they would have some kind of my fair lady or some kind of Broadway theme, a little cocktail party, or a little get together. They try to do some things for the residents to keep them active and socialize with each other.

The facility is for my husband's aunt. The staff was very helpful. They were honest of what they can do and what they couldn't do which I really appreciated. I have eaten there, and I thought it was very acceptable. The room is clean and spacious. They laid down new carpets and painted for her before she arrived. Everything was running. They take them for rides in an activity they call Joy Rides. It is a college town so there are a lot of activities from sorority and fraternities and other groups like soccer team and the basketball team. They come and do things with the residents. Also the high school is involved. The boy scouts and the girl scouts all came at Christmas time. It appears that they have good relations with the community. The security is very acceptable. There is only one door that you can go in and out. That is one of our concerns because she likes to go out. She still thinks that she can go by herself. It is nice to know that they are watching her all the time.

My parents are both in this community. One of them is in the memory unit and one is in the assisted living. Most of the residents like the staff, which means the staff pay attention to them. That says it all.

The first thing that I thought when I stepped into the facility was wow! It looks more like a home than an assisted living place. I felt very comfortable with my grand mother being there. The furnishings were nice and clean. There was no medicine smell in the place. There was ample security so I knew she would be safe. The staff was friendly. I would recommend this establishment to any friends or family. The grounds were nice too. There were many activities that my loved one could get involved with as well. All in all, a very nice place.

We chose this facility for my mom who has dementia. The people there were very caring. They recommend their resident to do daily activities and they provide a safe place them. They provide special care to their patients. Everyone was well taken care of. My mom was happy with it, and I'm happy seeing her happy.

Where to start well when you first drive up to the facility it looks beautiful the building design is great.the lawn is well manicured, and all the trees are perfectly manicured as well.So right off the bat when you pull it is very welcoming which is great. Then once you enter the facilities it is nice and clean well designed. my grandma loves the place it has a very good dining area her room is spaciest and comfortable.Everyone that lives there is kind well at least the people we have met are nice. The staff is very kind and pleasant whenever you she needs help they are fast and try there best to help to her satisfaction.the only negative that comes to mind is that last summer there was problem with my grandmas air conditioning and it took longer then we would have liked to get the problem resolved. But on the positive side they where vary apologetic and did there best to make it up to her.So in closing I feel this facility is great and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good assisted living facility.
