"The Therapy Team at this facility is excellent. Their director is also excellent checking with me daily making sure I was satisfied and improving. I had the pleasure to work with Tasha, Dawn, Ryan and several others. Very professional. They worked the entire time with me giving me suggestions of things I could do between visits. This I feel helped greatly. I am staying a total of 13 days and then off home to care for myself. I feel I am more than ready to go home safely. My nursing staff has been great too. Everywhere has work to be done in these very trying times, but I felt everyone has been great. "

"Manor at Perrysburg has a lovely therapy department. It was an older facility, but it was a nice facility. Most of the rooms were 2-beds, semi private, and they were still the old style that was separated by a curtain. It was one of the few I visited that had the old style with the curtains that looked very nice. The staff, overall, we met was wonderful. They knew the patients and patients knew people by name. I was stopped by an elderly gentleman who was sitting with obviously his wife who was an Alzheimer’s memory person and he said, “Are you looking for a loved one?" I said I might be, and he said, “Well, I shouldn’t say this, but this is the best. We have been in 9 of them and this is wonderful and it is because of the people here. They are wonderful, and they treat you like loved ones. This is the best and don’t be taken in by how new a facility is or everything they tell you that they offer. It really depends on the care, and you get good care here”. He was an older gentleman, but very nicely dressed and well-groomed. We had the impression that he had been around and was probably giving his impression from the heart that they were very happy there. If you are looking for a facility for a loved one, and you wanted a very warm setting with a warm staff, I think you should at least give this place a tour. For an older facility, it is the only one I would have considered like. I am not looking for this kind of a facility, and yet I would have considered placing a loved one there. They also offered where you put your loved one there for a couple of days to try it out and if that didn’t work, it was OK. "

"My mother spent a respite here for one week. She seemed to enjoy it, we didn't have any problems, she did activities. The place was clean, the atmosphere was nice, and the people who worked there were excellent. They had bingo, they did her nails there, they had UNO, and they got a chance to go out in the garden and watch the ducks. She had a two-bedroom, she was in the dementia care unit, but she didn't have a roommate. It was kept clean, she had her own bathroom inside the room, and she was near the front desk, so if she needed someone right away, someone could be there quickly. My family sent my mom flowers twice, and the administrator who I spoke with to help me get in there, took the two and sent them to us, called us, and let us know what was going on, and made us very comfortable. They had a courtyard, and they had a big glass-in container where they had some birds. The residents could go there and watch the birds."

"We are happy with Wood Haven Health Care. My mom seems to be getting good care. They are recommended by the Wood County Hospital. The staff members are very friendly and very accommodating. The activities are bowling, bingo, and coffee club."

"My grandmother was a resident at Heritage in 2008. She had been in 3, or 4 other homes before she arrived here. This was, by far, the best facility she was in. The staff was always friendly, the doctor's cared, the food was good, etc. My grandmother had dementia and often forgot the nurses. They were always patient and respective. She had her own room, which was extremely roomy (under the circumstances) and clean. She was a resident when she passed away and did an excellent job of showing sympathy and respect. I would highly recommend Heritage. "

"My husband is staying in Kingston Rehabilitation of Perrysburg for rehab, and I'm fairly happy with it. They've been really good, especially the nurse on duty during the day. She's very positive and out there singing under her breath. It's nice hearing the positive vibe. His room is pretty good. It's a little small, but we're fairly happy with it. Maybe this is more of a maintenance issue, but in most of the other rooms, they have these two brackets on the wall that you can hang the chairs on. However, in this particular room, they don't. They were also actually surprised when I asked for chairs because there were no folding chairs for guests. They brought the chairs in and just leaned them against the wall. I guess that's more of a maintenance issue where they need to get somebody in there to install it properly. My husband hasn't been well enough to go to the dining area yet, so they bring the food. However, they are not on plates with warming lids. They're just in the to-go styrofoam, those carrier things, so they don't stay warm very long. The food is also not very good."

"Otterbein provided great care to my friend up to his passing there. They were attentive and his safety was always their top concern. If he needed anything they accomodated his requests in a timely manner. The staff treated him like family. They went above and beyond and Ashley the Administrator was always supportive and was very knowledgeable when we needed her. We are thankful and happy we chose this facility."

"I liked the atmosphere at The Lakes of Monclova best. I think it was designed for the age appropriately. I liked the simplicity of it and the hominess. It was very cozy."

"Perrysburg Care and Rehab is a very comfortable place to be in. It is very easy to navigate your way around and if you have any trouble finding where you need to go or if you look lost the staff almost immediately notices and will point you in the right direction. The facility is very clean and tidy as well as the public restrooms. The patients there have a wonderful sense of humor as well as the staff. While in Perrysburg Care and Rehab you'll be greeted with smiles from the staff and the patients making you feel welcome which I personally admire. You might even make friends with a few of the patients as they are very friendly and social. The staff treats the patients there very good as well. I've never heard of a staff member not knowing who a patient is or forgetting their name. Which leads me to believe that they hire only the best and caring individuals. I definitely recommend this facility to anyone who has a family member that needs special care as Perrysburg Care and Rehab will make them feel right at home. "

"The thing, I guess, that I liked best was the people looked very happy, and everybody seemed very engaged in activities. Generally, Swan Creek was a happy looking place. The staff was very pleasant and very well prepared. "

"I think Lutheran Village At Wolf Creek is excellent. My mother-in-law is very well taken care of there. They take care of all her and our needs and questions. They have assisted living, also, and a couple of dining rooms, chapel there, a beauty salon, and a community room where somebody on the weekends comes in and plays music. They have a happy hour where everybody gets together and play games. For socializing, it is absolutely great. For care, it’s also great. We ate there, and it was pretty good. The facility is extremely clean, and everything is kept up. As soon as something needs attention, they take care of it right away. "
