My father was there for a few weeks and I cannot say enough nice about it! The facility is clean and smells nice, not like a typical nursing home can be. The staff is pleasant and the aides are wonderful! I would highly recommend bringing your loved one here!

The rooms are run down and dirty. My aunt has been there 5 weeks and her room has not been cleaned. Dust on the floor and furniture. Her dresser drawers do not open or close correctly and is a hazard for her to use. We have complained to maintenance and nothing has been done. WE have been waiting on a care plan for weeks. Cannot ever find administration to talk to or social worker. No one calls back either. My aunt is supposed to be staying as long term but it is a hazard for her to stay there. She waits over 60 minutes for an aid or nurse to help her out of her bed to the bathroom. She has also now fallen and broken her hip while staying there due to lack of care and wait for help. They never have her paper work up to date. For example , her discharge papers form the hospital with after care no one could find and one nurse argued that she never went to the hospital! Food is over cooked and hard to eat .Would not recommend this facility to anyone.

My mother is currently in Heatherdowns Rehab & Residential Care Center. We've only had one care conference so far, and it was good. My mom is in quarantine for 14 days. The rooms are okay. It's accessible, and all in one floor. She's doing rehab only in her room because she's in quarantine.

My dad was in Heatherdowns Center on two different occasions. I actually liked them for my dad until they sent him out to the doctor for his follow-up surgical appointment in the mid of winter. It was 10-below and he was without a coat, shoes, or a shirt, just a thin blanket. That was downright unforgivable as far as I was concerned. What happened was the night before, I brought all of his belongings so that he could put those things on for his appointment, but when I arrived there and saw him, he had none of the stuff on and he was sitting there shivering because he was cold. I went so far as to call the state on their facility. It was absolutely the worse situation I ever had to deal with.
