I was extremely impressed with St. Clare Commons. It's a beautiful facility with wonderful staff. That's the place we're going to start working with to try and get my wife in because they have skilled nursing. I'll have to pay out of pocket for a little while but they don't have anywhere near as long of a waiting list as the other places we looked at. We've already started some paperwork to get a full evaluation of my wife to see whether or not it would be a fit both for her and for us financially. We toured their assisted living, as well as long-term care and skilled nursing. It was like going into a resort that's beautiful. All the staff was phenomenal. They were just right on top of things and bent over backward to help me and a friend of mine who's also been going with me on some of these. They were just great, more than congenial, and helpful. A couple of the residents that we talked to were cool people. I have a good feeling about that spot. There are a couple of dining areas there and they're quite warm and inviting. It's right up there with some of the nicer restaurants I've ever eaten at. The rooms were also beautiful. Nicer than some good-level hotels that I've been to. They've got a beautiful library, crafts, and some stuff available. They've got a beautiful campus where there are places you can go outside and soak up some of the sunshine. It also has a very good security system. The whole place is top-notch.

My mom was there from 2015 till 2017 , I would not refer this place to anyone, I pray they get proper management, the facility is beautiful , but the residents are not properly cared for ,my mom use to wait over an hour for an aide to answer the call light , money is more important than the residents ,if you complain they will get very upset , the director of nursing would not discuss my mom care with me after I reported her to administration, I could only talk to her assitant and she would refer the message , that is not right , and management was ok with that ,they told me it was hostile, all I did was tell her what an aide did to my mom and she was upset with me for reporting it .

St.Clare Commons has a very warm, welcoming atmosphere. We were greeted immediately by a smiling face. Our tour was fantastic, the entire community is beautiful and throughout the place everyone we passed said hello...(residents and staff alike). The residents seem very happy there. When we visited they were having happy hour in the lounge and we heard laughter and warm greetings. I hope to have my loved one move in here!

St Clare Commons was a beautiful facility, and I had a very lovely tour. It is a very faith-based facility. I understand that they have had problems in the past, and they are in the process of making some changes. There was nothing wrong with the tour that I had; it is just things that I heard about the facility that I would hesitate to put a loved one there at this time just because of the feedback that I got from others, and not because of my individual tour per se. They have primarily rooms, not suites, and even memory care. They really encourage you to bring in your old furniture and make the room as much like you want it as possible so that it looks like home, and you can fix it up anyway you want. Very lovely facility, nice people that I met, and the only reason I would hesitate to recommend it to anyone else is because I know that they had a big change in staff, and they are trying to improve. There had been problems, but I did not see it myself. They have a lovely chapel, alovely therapy room, and a lovely library. It is a Franciscan community, and they just have a lot of nice facilities. I think it is very new and very nice.

The thing that is most appealing about St. Clare Commons is that my mother’s in the memory care lock-down unit, which is what I needed because she keeps getting out. I think their level of care is very high. The rooms are very nice and very modern, and the entire facility is very nice. From what I’ve seen, the food looks very fresh and healthy. They have several planned activities for residents.

I visited St. Clare Commons. It was one that required a two-year self-pay before you went onto Medicaid. It was nice, but my mother doesn’t have enough funds to last two years. The staff seemed nice and very professional. The rooms were very nice.

St. Clare Commons was beautiful. It's brand new. It is clean and beautiful. It's Catholic in its affiliationm and my in-laws were very interested in that. The staff is wonderful. Food is tolerable.
