Hurley Manor is a nice place. They are very small, 400 sq. ft. apartments and they have a lot of activities and things like that. They are very nice, but it would be something I would have to arrange to go into because there is no place else. I think they have an inside pool, and they do have amenities as far as a gym and recreational areas. They have got about a year's waiting list, and it's the only place in Jacksonville that does not cost a fortune. My friends that live there really like it, and the surroundings are beautiful.

My grandmother lived in Hurley Manor before she died. Hurley Manor has apartment style living with the security of knowing that staff members are keeping an eye on its residents. Hurley Manor is clean and is affordable. Hurley Manor allows its residents a great deal of independence but helps family members feel comfortable about leaving their loved ones there. One of the things that I really liked about Hurley Manor was the way they cared for my grandmother before she died. They happened to notice that she wasn't acting like her normal self and called to inform us. Shortly after, she passed away. I believe it was their caring, personable attitudes that allowed my grandmother to spend her final days with her family. I would definitely recommend Hurley Manor to friends. I believe my grandmother really enjoyed the time she spent there and we enjoyed seeing her have happy moments there.
