"Wyndham Lakes was nice and clean, and the rooms and everything we saw were in good repair. The residents seemed to be nice, clean, and happy. The staff was very nice. We had no complaints. I like the room situation they have. They have one roommate in a room. They don't have a whole bunch of people sleeping in a room because I don't think my dad would be very comfortable sleeping in a room with a whole bunch of different people. In each room, they have a bathroom, their own sink, and everything."

"I went to Brookdale Mandarin. It was my second choice, and I think they're very capable. I have nothing bad to say about them. It's a very nice place. It has a friendly atmosphere. I've seen their cafeteria and the recreation room. I've seen them all. I got a full tour. The staff who toured us was very professional."

"I have never wanted my grandparents to have to live at a senior living center, due to the fact that I am a nurse and would love to care for them myself. However, it is just not possible at the time and I feel that we couldn't have picked a better place. Not only is the environment beautiful, but the staff is so pleasant and welcoming, but also the staff treats everyone like they are individuals and truly listen to the problems the residents have. The rooms are always clean and in the times that I have been present the staff responds to the residents in a timly manner and do not leave them waiting all day to receive help. My grandparents and I also feel that the food they offer is top of the line, among many other services they provide. They even off nutritious snacks throughout the day, where as other facilities sometimes did not and also did not offer very tasty food. I am very pleased that we choose this as their new home and I plan on visiting as much as I can. "

"Diamond Assisted Living & Memory Care would be an excellent place for my father. I really like the facility. The staff was friendly and answered my questions. The director took me on a tour of the facility and the residents stopped and chitchatted with her. It was a pleasant experience. They had bingo, arts and crafts room, a TV room, and a courtyard with trees and a little fountain. The facility was very clean and didn't have an odor. Everyone was very calm and relaxed and nobody appeared unhappy. It wasn't new, but it's well maintained. The single room had a double bed and a TV. It looked very nice, and it's $4,800 a month. For $3,200 a month, it was two twin beds with a chest of drawer and a TV, and each room had a bathroom and shower. The TV room had nice couches and recliners. They take their naps in there after lunch. It's assisted living with memory care. There's a service dog that comes in and a minister gives them religious preaching. They have an activity room where they can paint and do activities."

"We found Brookdale Southpoint. They seem very nice, very welcoming, and the apartment of my brother is very well organized. It is very clean, was just painted, and the staff is very efficient. They have a courtyard, craft room, and a little library. He's moving there soon. The facility is very clean, sparkling clean. I would recommend it."

"I went to Brookdale Southside. It was very nice. The staff seemed to be aware of everything going on. I was impressed with the fact that the sales manager knew all of the patients' names; it was impressive. It seemed to be reasonable in cost. It didn't appear to have any hidden costs, which is what we were looking for my mother-in-law. They were very open. They answered all my questions. It was a good fit for a lot of people. In fact, I looked at this place before for assisted living for my own mother at one time. There were a lot of activities for assisted living. It was a clean and friendly environment. Had my mother lived long enough, I'm sure she would have been happy there. They had a beauty shop. With the memory care, they do all the activities right there on that floor, so there's not really a separate room. They have calendars posted as to what the activities will be."

"It was lovely. I think the people that work there were very kind, very caring, and very hospitable. It was a very nice place, but my father is not ready. I just have all positive things to say about them. They're very kind and caring. Even the people that I met on the weekend went out of their way to help me. They spent a lot of time explaining things to me and showing me things, and I really appreciated it. I have no complaints at all. My father had trouble walking and they even were going to be able to make accommodations for him to be close to where the dining room is, so I really appreciated that. They had a calendar with things every day. I was worried if he was there, he might just stay in his room, and the staff said they always go and check on their residents and try to get them involved in things, so they don't just leave them there. This would have been the one that I would've chosen because it was so close to my home and because I really just like it."

"In Grand Living at Tamaya, whether you're in independent or assisted living, you stay in the same apartment. It's brand new so it's very nice. The apartments look very nice. They showed us all the facility that they have. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They have a swimming pool and they have a workout room."

"Starling at Nocatee is a brand-new community. The sales staff was very informative and followed up more than once. The location was great, and the price was not, but you get what you pay for. The grounds were fine but not complete yet. In the literature they gave me, they offered movie nights, socials, and dinner every evening."

"It looked like a wonderful place to be in. The representative was pleasant and helpful. She talked straight, and she was honest. The place and its location were beautiful. It looked like it was very new and shiny. There were a lot of residents up and about, and they seemed to be content and enjoying themselves at lunch time. The food smelled wonderful. Everything about the place impressed me, and I would definitely consider it for my mother."

"I went to Palagio Senior Living and paid a reservation fee. We haven't met any of the residents because they're mostly in quarantine. The activities are limited, so we didn't see a lot of residents, but the staff is excellent, they're all very helpful, and you ask them a question, it will be answered right then. It's a super clean place; it's spotless. Even in the hallways, there's no dust along the borders. It's immaculate. It's a new place, but it is very nice and upscale. We liked it immediately, the first impression when we walked in. It looked very nice. They described all activities. We had a sit down with a salesperson. They described them, and we toured all the activity bases, the restaurants, and their store. They have a beauty salon and a barbershop, all that kind of stuff. It's very, very all-inclusive. This is a huge place. It's a very large place and they have green spaces. It's well taken care of and well planned. Everything is just great. Everything is just well cared for in that facility. Although they showed us the menu, we didn't have an opportunity to taste the quality of the food because they're in lockdown."

They have a lot of activities. I see people in several different large rooms for different activities. There is always a schedule of activities posted, and it looks very good."
