They have a cafeteria. They play bingo. They take bus rides to places. They do different things and different activities. I've also had a meal with her there, and I enjoyed it."

"We have chosen Seagrass Village of Fleming Island because of its location. It just has what was right for us. The staff I spoke with was very, very nice. She was good. She went over and explained some of the things that we had questions about. She showed us around the facility. We have tried the food, and it was very good. The service was good, too. There were no complaints at all. We're very happy with it. There were a few things that could use tweaking but not much. They have a courtyard, they have a swimming pool, and they have games. They have several different things that we would like. They have a gym, physical therapy, and all kind of things."

"My mom will be moving into Canterfield of Clay County. The physical appearance is very nice, clean, and new. They're doing a lot of construction, I guess behind it, adding on. The staff was very informative, very clever, and knew a lot of what was going on. She gave us a good tour and gave us a lot of information. They have an outdoor place where you can play golf. They have like the Wii bowling and activities where you can do crafts and stuff like that. They have a person that does that. They also have happy hour twice a week. The rooms were nice. They had nice big closets and a lot of space. My mom is planning on getting a one-bedroom. But even the studios are nice sizes and clean."

"Fleet Landing is gigantic and is kind of like a small college campus. It offers so many cultural things, and the workout facilities and the offerings of classes are huge. They have indoor and outdoor pools, a symphony and college courses come in, and the food is good. It has everything from independent, to assisted, to skilled nursing, to memory care. "

"Windsor Pointe of Jacksonville was very nice, and it was new. The staff was very, very pleasant. The reason that we didn't go there was that they didn't have a three-bedroom unit. They did not have a large enough unit for us (a three-bedroom apartment). The apartments were modern, new, and well-kept. The staff was excellent. The facilities were very nice, but we didn't take it. The dining area was lovely. The food was very good. We had Valentine's dinner there. It was very nice. It looked like they had a lot of things. They had a gym and a pool. They had arts and crafts, dance classes, exercise classes, and trips."

"Vicar's Landing is an upscale assisted living facility in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. I have relatives who live in this community, which is located directly next to the PGA Tour's TPC Sawgrass course. Vicars Landing has done well at maintaining their peaceful community and the landscaping is simple yet nice. One things I clearly noticed was the facility is dedicated to making life easy for residents. Services exists such as: on site barber, shuttles to local businesses, and even a branch of a major national bank on site. Vicars Landing is a great place to have your loved ones live. I gave it 4-Stars!! "

"I've chosen Discovery Village of Deerwood for my mom, and she's moving there. It was pretty good. I was impressed. I liked it. It was clean. It was really nice. They had an open courtyard that they could walk around. It was just a good atmosphere and environment. I met a few of the staff, and they're pretty good. The residents seemed to be happy and content to be there. They have a lady that does the hair. The rooms were pretty decent. They have activities."

"My aunt is a resident of Discovery Village At Deerwood. It's good. Her room is nice, and the staff has been very good to her. They've had a problem with the chef. And right now, with her level of care, she is not able to go to the dining room anymore. The place is brand new and very upscale. She's not able to do anything because the muscles and stuff in her legs have given out and she's just in her apartment. When we ate there, it was good, but that was when they had the really good chef at the beginning. The higher-ups still need a lot of training."

"My grandmother lived in Hurley Manor before she died. Hurley Manor has apartment style living with the security of knowing that staff members are keeping an eye on its residents. Hurley Manor is clean and is affordable. Hurley Manor allows its residents a great deal of independence but helps family members feel comfortable about leaving their loved ones there. One of the things that I really liked about Hurley Manor was the way they cared for my grandmother before she died. They happened to notice that she wasn't acting like her normal self and called to inform us. Shortly after, she passed away. I believe it was their caring, personable attitudes that allowed my grandmother to spend her final days with her family. I would definitely recommend Hurley Manor to friends. I believe my grandmother really enjoyed the time she spent there and we enjoyed seeing her have happy moments there. "

" I have been a resident here for 7 years, 221 apts, also part time desk worker as we are a gated community, with many care givers in and out daily, nurses, Dr's, a mobile Vet also, many visitors, we have an excellent staff, very caring people, in my opinion the best way for seniors to live in Fl. very inexpensive, on busline, we also have our own private bus for trips, gated parking lots, thank you Rink Tillett "

"My Dad has lived in both Independent Living and Assisted Living at Osprey Village on Amelia Island for nearly 10 years. The facilities are beautiful, exceptionally maintained, and well appointed. The staff are amazing. This past year, dealing with the pandemic and such vulnerable residents staff truly showed their strength. They have worked so hard to keep residents safe while doing more than I imagined to keep them entertained, physically and mentally engaged and as connected as possible with family. I so appreciate all of them and would recommend anyone who wants to assure wonderful living for their family members, to just visit Osprey Village. You will be pleased!!! Rooms are lovely, clean and bright. Common areas are well designed, and provide great options for activities. And the activities are varied and numerous, whether it’s local restaurants and events, baseball games in Jax, tours of interesting places, musical events, etc. Staff are dedicated to be in touch with family members and keeping them informed. "We were impressed with Riverside Presbyterian House. It's very nice and it had several options. Although we were not particularly impressed with the dining room and the meals that they have, but still they're acceptable. I certainly would keep them in mind as maybe a place that we'll go back to look at. "
