"My mom was at Magnolia Manor of St Simons. She was in catered living. It's between assisted and independent. She didn't need any help. She was only there for a very short time. Everybody was really super nice and welcoming. The place was kept very clean. Mom said they kept her full; the food was excellent. They need some renovations. They can't handle wheelchairs because they're not handicap accessible. They need to maybe add more handicap accessible features. It was not really that bad, it was just an older place. Also, with COVID, they couldn't do activities. She was staying there for my dad. He only stayed there one day before he passed away. She stayed there because of him, but she really didn't need any assistance. I'm satisfied, but the staff members were limited because of COVID."

"My brother-in-law stayed at Magnolia Manor of St. Simons. It was a wonderful place and he thoroughly enjoyed it, but they could no longer do his insulin, so we had to remove him. It was an excellent facility. They were very good giving him his meds. The personnel were very friendly. He liked everybody. They were very kind, so it was a very positive experience. The rooms were very nice. They had their own separate baths. His room was enough for his TV, chair, and some furniture. He liked the food. They had a dining area and he enjoyed that greatly. I know they had different programs and different churches come in. They sat on the porch or they played cards. It was a very social situation for him, and that's very important. The staff seemed very cooperative and very caring. The price kept going up and it was pretty expensive, but it was a very nice place, and that was worth it."

"The physical facilities and grounds are beautiful. The cottages and apartments are spacious and very nice. The staff is caring and, within the constraints of not enough staff, most are very helpful and dedicated to doing a good job. In my opinion, the food is very bad. In my experience, the quality of the housekeeping is very bad. "

"St Marks Towers is a very clean and safe place. My Great Grandma just loves it there she has so many friends. The staff are very nice and love there job. They take very good care of the residents and assist them with absolutley everything they need. The cafeteria is always cleaned and the food is always good. The bathrooms are always clean and very well stocked. The outside of the building is very well taken care of theres even a path you can hike to and sit near the water or enjoy a picnic on the picnic table on the lawn. They also have a work out room thats complete with handicap rails and a no slip floor. And they have a barber shop open on certain days of the week a local hair stylist comes in and cuts the residents hair and styles free of charge. There is also a spa that my great gran adores. Overall this place is a five. "
