I toured Fleet Landing. It is topscale. They have all kinds of amenities. They have nine restaurants and all kinds of activities. The rooms were adequate, and they have different sizes. They have a library pool, a gym, a croquet room, and a theater. The staff members are very nice.

I'm comfortable here in Fleet Landing. I'm staying where I am. The people here are absolutely wonderful. They are absolutely helpful. Their food is restaurant-quality, five-star food. It's like living in a country club. It's beautiful. In terms of value for money, I would rate it moderate to expensive, but a great value for this situation. There are lots of activities.

I toured Fleet Landing. They're very accommodating. The apartments were all open-concept and beautiful. The kitchen and living area are kind of one big space. They have a beauty salon, activity areas, and an indoor and outdoor heated pool. I'm more familiar with the events because once you're waiting, you are invited to X number of events, so I'm more familiar with what they have to offer. I've eaten there several times and it's always very good.

Fleet Landing is a very nice, well-kept facility, and people there seem to be very happy. We were in the newest building, and I believe appliances were all provided. There's a washer and dryer and nice kitchen. The staff who took me around did a very nice job. We ate there, and it was lovely. It was very nice. They have pool, and they have a lot of activities. It's very well run, and they seem to be very sound financially.

Fleet Landing is a new and very attractive property. The part that we were looking at was called Beacon Pointe, and it's a new building. Half of it was finished and being lived in, while the other half was being completed by the construction company, which would be open by the end of this year. We were looking at apartments versus individual homes, and the apartment that we were looking at was a one-bedroom, then the next one up was a one-bedroom that had a den. They're brand new and well designed, but I just felt that it was overpriced. The dining area was well appointed and the food we had for lunch was delicious. We had a very positive experience with the staff and the place was immaculate. I went to a room where people can draw and paint. They have an exercise area that's very well equipped, and their woodshop. The outdoor spaces were very well landscaped and very attractive too, but what I liked the most about the place was probably the way that it's designed and it's a five- minute walk to the beach.

We loved Fleet Landing but they had no availability. They just had a brand-new apartment unit that was going to be available in the summer, and everything was taken, but this is the place the woman said that she knew there would be a couple people that would be backing out. The plan looked beautiful, but it is $535,000 to go into an apartment, and I thought that was just a bit much. We loved the area, and then you could walk maybe a block and a half/two blocks if you wanted to walk to the beach. That was my favorite, but I didn't feel I wanna spend that kind of money to live in an apartment at this time of my life. I'm just looking now and trying to get a feel of what's out there. The place is very nice, they had a beautiful pool, they had a big lake where they had a fountain, and people did take little paddleboards on it if they wanted to. We saw where the assisted living was. It's not all brand new, but they are also now in the process of building a new, big area where they're gonna have their activities, all kinds of activities, brand new, beautiful. We saw their dining room and that was very nice. Fleet Landing was close to an A, but what pulls me back is they want so much money to come in. The staff was very nice, she took us all around, showed us everything we needed to see, and as she was showing us the layouts of the apartments, I said I kind of like that one, so what would that one cost? $535,000 for one person, and $565,000 for two, and then you had like $4,500 a month you had to pay in addition to that. Not that I couldn't afford that, but I wouldn't be that stupid to throw my money into something like that at my age. If I was younger maybe, and I'd get more use out of it, and more time, but that's a huge amount of money to fork out for independent living. That was the only negative of that place.

Fleet Landing is gigantic and is kind of like a small college campus. It offers so many cultural things, and the workout facilities and the offerings of classes are huge. They have indoor and outdoor pools, a symphony and college courses come in, and the food is good. It has everything from independent, to assisted, to skilled nursing, to memory care.

My mother has decided that she’s going to stay in Fleet Landing. I have seen nothing but good things there. It’s a well-run and well-managed facility, a CCRC that was initially signed up by the Navy. The staff people are very good and very professional. The food is wonderful, extremely well prepared, and offered in a wide variety of options as well as meal plans. They have concerts, go on trips, and have a luncheon crowd that goes out periodically for lunch and monthly building dinners where all the residents of the building get together for dinner, monthly parties, a woodworking shop, physical therapy, and physical activities. There is an enormous variety of activities. The one thing my mother has found unsatisfactory is the maintenance and the grounds-keeping. She has very high standards for maintenance, and they take very good care of things, but it’s not up to her standards.

We visited Fleet Landing and were very impressed with it. I have only visited the rehabilitation facility, not the assisted living, and it is in good shape. We had somebody in there for 60 days. I would recommend it.

We visited Fleet Landing. It was a very upscale facility. They have the most excellent food service that I've seen anywhere. It was phenomenal, both lunch and supper. The staff was absolutely topnotch. I was most impressed with them. For activities, they have everything that you can imagine. They have two indoor swimming pools and weight rooms. They have a world class lawn bowling facility. This was probably the nicest place that we have ever visited.

The major one I visited is Fleet Landing. It was very nice. They had just about everything that you would want in a continuous living type environment. You would start out in a continuous living part of the property. The if you would need assistance, then you could migrate over to that, or you could go to their 5-star nursing facility. They had small houses with two bedrooms and a den. They had apartments. I believed they had up to three bedrooms. They had duplexes also. They had all the amenities you could think of. They had all the healthcare staff. They had trips. They had a full gym, a card room, and a library. They were only three blocks from the beach.

Fleet Landing is very substantial, from a community to a community and the medical facility that it has to offer. We were specifically looking for a place that had at least a single car garage in a facility. I would prefer to have a two-car garage if I am capable, and I would like to have that at Fleet Landing. They are the most organized and most disciplined. They have what I was looking for: a memory care unit. They have a local, wide-based hospital within 2 miles, a VA hospital within 7 miles, and a male clinic within 5 miles.

My mother was here for a while in rehab. The equipment was not as great as Cypress. But, the care was a lot better as the CNA came to help you more quickly than any other facility that my mother has ever had to be in.Unfortunately, they do not have a bus to take the patients to doctors appointments like Cypress which I found very helpful. The staff was very nice, but as always ..remember you should still find times to come unannounced at any facility you put your loved ones in just to see how the staff is functioning.Keep them on their toes!

Fleet Landing was and is terrible. The people working there are great. They're fine but the basic facilities are way behind at times. They're starting to build a memory facility but it's going to be two years and I cannot afford to wait that long to get my wife there.

I've worked in senior living communities for over 20 years. Fleet Landing is the finest I've comes across. It's established, is a not-for-profit organization, is financially sound, is acredited, and has the finest amenities and facilties that I've see.

We chose Fleet Landing for my mother because the place is close to my two brothers that live in that area and for the quality of the amenities they have. The dining room and swimming pool are handicap accessible. The staff are excellent. The rooms are very spacious. They have some outdoor space. We had dinner there and the food is very gourmet quality. This is probably the most expensive facility in the Jacksonville area that I'm aware of.

We moved my mother in law to Fleet Landing Senior Living Community last April, and everything is great. We are very pleased. She was comfortable there. They have a chef and they have good food.

My parents love it here. It offers them a way to be independent, socialize with other people their own age, be active, and also have help when they need it. They offer classes and have social events for the residents. I feel very good know that my parents are being taken care of. I also love the fact that I can visit whenever I'd like. I do show up unannounced, just to make sure they are being taken care of properly. I also love the people that work there. They are very nice, educated, and friendly! My parents feel safe and at home there. I'm glad we found such a great place for my parents!

This facility is outstanding. It offers residents a variety of living situations. Depending on the level of care necessary, residents can live independently in private homes, independently in apartments or duplexes, or can get assisted care in the nursing unit. The staff is extremely caring, they treat residents like family. The complex offers a number of activities and services for the residents. They have monthly gatherings, game nights, special themed activities, continuing education classes/lessons, field trips, seasonal activities and other social gatherings. The food served to the residents provides a variety while still being very tasty. The facility offers a variety of dining locations with different options. They have smaller cafe type settings, offering smaller, simpler meals and larger dining room situations for major meals. They offer a great Sunday brunch as well. The facility offers an Alzheimer's unit that is locked down for safety. They also have a lovely garden for the unit to allow the residents to get fresh air.
