Everyone at this facility was wonderful to Mom during the last year of her life. I can not thank them enough for caring about her and treating her unfailingly lovingly during the time she lived there. She loved the activities and the staff.

We visited Heritage Crossings while in the vicinity - visiting assisted living facilities in the area for my friend's mother. We took a tour of the outside grounds which appeared well maintained. The patio overlooking Lake Victoria was particularly nice. The staff was very friendly and all seemed to really like their jobs. We liked that the business has been run and managed locally. The main living areas were fresh, clean and sunny with a contemporary, yet homey décor. The residents appeared well cared for and comfortable, with easy access to everything. The lunch meal we saw looked nutritious and smelled really delicious. The selections on the menu were most impressive, with traditional and interesting dishes to choose from. The variety of activities offered was impressive. Just about any hobby you might have can be accommodated - and more. The staff goes out of its way to suggest stimulating things to do - from playing games to many outings in the community and surrounding areas. The rooms we viewed were all very clean, well-kept and inviting - kind of resembling what you might find at a hotel - but personalized and larger. We liked that the exercise room was large and had a variety of options to choose from. The library had a large book selection and the room was peaceful. The salon is convenient as was the computer system with web-cam. There was also a cafe for residents to enjoy with friends and family. We could really see that the residents are treated with care, kindness and respect so that they are very well cared for at all times.
