I moved to King's Reserve Memphis. It's a great community and the people are great. They have a dining room and a pantry. They have "wine down" where you can eat, drink wine, and gather with people to talk. They have bingo. They also have a dog park. They offer aerobics classes with equipment that you can use for riding and lifting weights. They have a beauty salon and a person who plants flowers with whom you can work. Additionally, they have a vegetable garden here. They provide a balcony. The staff is friendly, helpful, and wonderful. They know how to treat all the people there with respect, especially older people, and you can feel the love. I cook my own food, and they have a pantry every Tuesday where you can go and pick up food to bring back to your apartment. They also have an elevator. Even though I'm paying more for this apartment than I was paying for the other one, it's still worth it, because when you enter downstairs it feels like you're walking into a hotel instead of a senior citizen's apartment.

My brother is at The Glenmary at Evergreen independent living, the place is good. He's doing ok there, they're nice and accommodating, and they helped us out a lot. His room had a balcony, and a walk-in closet, and the appliances were nice. He's not a big fan of the food. He has several medical problems and needs to be on a special diet, and at one time they were serving mac and cheese when he can't eat that. I called and talked to the staff, but they said that all he had to do was let them know and then they will send him a special meal. But he tried to let them know, so that's the only thing. They have a lot of activities.

I was very impressed with the energy of the people at The Glenmary at Evergreen. Everybody was friendly. The place was very clean. It smelled good when I walked in. I liked the atmosphere and there are a lot of amenities. I think it'd be a good spot for my uncle. We're very much considering relocating there.

I will be moving into The Glenmary at Evergreen. I'm very satisfied so far. I chose it because of the price. Everything I need will be there. There are other people there around my age to get to know and to visit. They've got a lot of activities going on to keep me busy. I'm looking forward to the move. I really didn't meet too much of the staff, but the ones that I met were very nice. They seemed to care about what my concerns were, and they answered all my questions. They have card games and different things going on.

I went to see The Glenmary at Evergreen yesterday. I was looking for independent living and I noticed that there, it was a mixture of independent and basic care. One thing that I noticed was that the place had so many levels to it. I think it was something like 11 or 12 floors and I would have nightmares. As for the facility itself, it was nice. There's even a swimming pool there. I just always have a problem with heights. It was a nice little place and the only problem I had was the multiple floors.

The one I liked most is The Glenmary at Evergreen, but they didn't have any openings. They have independent living and then they have a couple of floors of assisted living. I liked the place; I really did. The woman that took me on the tour, I really liked that. That only thing is that, when I called back, she never returned my call. I really wanted to be put on the waiting list at that time. The third time I called, the person wasn't there, and they said, "Can I send you to her voicemail?" and I said, "I've called already and she's never returned my call. I just wanted to ask her about any openings or if I could get put on the list." And the woman said, "Well, we don't have any openings right now, I can tell you that." So that's the only thing, I'm just really disappointed because that was my first choice. It's an older building, but it appeared to be very clean. The room I looked at was just a one-bedroom, but it had plenty of room. It had a nice-sized balcony, and I was looking for that. It's almost like having another room, and I like being outdoors. It had a room for me to put a small kitchen table. The appliances were nice-looking. They had a theater, and they had restaurant-style dining. It was a gated community, which I like. The most important thing is that it's just right down the street from where my son and granddaughter live. The staff member took me on a good tour. She introduced me to several people. The people I delt with over the phone, the people there at the front desk, and even the residents were all very nice and complimentary.

My son is now a resident of The Glenmary at Evergreen. I like that on certain schedules, they will take him to his doctor's. The food is pretty good. There is a variety and it's warm. It's down in the dining room. It has a good physical appearance. It's all very well kept. I'm pleased with it. They've got a swimming pool and they do water aerobics in the summer. They have a girl who's in charge of things to do. Yesterday, when I went by there, they were getting ready to have a St. Patrick's party in the dining room, and the whole place was decorated for St. Patrick's. They decorate for each of the holidays, major or minor. They're allowed to have pets up to a certain extent, and my son has his dog there. The staff has been very good to my son. If he can't get down to the dining room, they will bring his food up.

I went to The Glenmary at Evergreen. I just like the fact that it didn't feel like an old folk home. It felt like you were going to a high-rise apartment complex with a lobby. They had a lot of mixed- use as far as just, most of them are just assisted living apartments that are like the first couple of floors, so they had a lot more action. When you walked in, you didn't walk into some people who, as they age, are just sitting in a wheelchair and not moving and just staring. It's just intimidating as far as when you're trying to look for somebody who's not 90, my mom's only 70. On the Glenmary, I like the fact that when you walked in, people were working. Contractors were coming in, maintenance guys were coming, families were coming in. It just felt like there was more activity that was taking place. That was normal behavior, a normal activity in the high rise that even little millennials would purchase. The first five floors are independent lving and they have two floors that are assisted living. Their tour fit my personality. She kind of just did the nuts and bolts of it for us. Like, here you go, here's the room, this here is that, and I appreciated that. She was great. I just thought she was just down to earth. She was young, fun. She knew everyone, every person that came by. It didn't seem like she was using it as a job to retire and just get by, and it felt like it was more of a calling.

The Glenmary at Evergreen was very nice, and we're considering talking to them again. I spoke with a gentleman, who was very courteous, and gave us some information. They were busy, but he gave us a very thorough tour and answered all of my questions. The place was very clean, and the staff looked very professional as we walked around. You could see that it was a professional organization. We saw cooks in the kitchen preparing food with very well-maintained stainless steel equipment. It was very well kept. There were people in some of the gathering rooms, and everybody seemed to be having a very nice time. Their rooms were clean, too. They were larger than some of the others that I've seen.

I went to tour The Glenmary at Evergreen. I like the professionalism of the person that showed me around. I would give them a 3 because of the price. They need to lower their price. The staff was super. It was very clean. She was very prompt. The only facilities I've seen were their dining room and the apartment. They never told me of their amenities. It was close to the stores and things of that nature. The cleanliness was excellent.

The Glenmary at Evergreen is a high-rise community. The lady that helped us was very knowledgeable, and we went and looked at two separate units, a studio, and a one-bedroom. We had a good tour experience and they gave us a folder with all the information in it.

The Glenmary at Evergreen is probably where my mom is going. I visited their independent living last month. It's reasonably priced, and the neighborhood was good. It seemed like the facility was good. The staff was professional and friendly. The place is good but it's an older facility, so it could use some updating. They had a salon, a library, a movie theater, laundry areas, and transportation.

I toured The Glenmary at Evergreen for my wife, and I was pleased with what I saw. I think it was convenient to my location and easy to access, and that's what I was pleased with. I would describe it as just fair. I'm not saying there is nothing exceptional, just pleasant. It is an old building, but it was sufficient for my needs, and it seemed like it was clean. I like the fact that they have a balcony on the patio of the particular facility. It felt homey.

I had an in-person tour at The Glenmary at Evergreen. They were kind of hidden away. I didn't like their location. It was in an outward part of town, and they were kind of hidden away. They were doing renovations, so it was kind of a mess. I wasn't impressed. Even with the renovations, it still wouldn't appeal to me. They need to do a lot of updates in there. It was average. The staff members were OK. The staff gave me somewhat of a packet, but it left out a lot of stuff. I didn't get a lot of information on what amenities and things that they offer there. It appeared to be clean. It's an outdated facility as well, so they need to renovate and update. Some of the rooms were very big. I like the spaciousness of it, but it kind of like if you live in a nursing home or a hospital.

I thought Glenmary at Evergreen was good. The only drawback was my mother had slight dementia, and the room that they showed me would be on the upper level. I don't know if that would trigger her mind, and she might think that she could jump out of it or something like that. Otherwise, I thought what they offered would have been really good. It was in a good location. The person who toured me was excellent. When she first called me, she gave me all the information I needed.

I did a tour of The Glenmary at Evergreen. It was OK. It didn't seem nearly as comfortable and the staff wasn't as personable as the other place. I saw the independent living. I did not tour the assisted living facility; it was still locked down. It's the only place in our immediate location that provides assisted living, so it's certainly worth looking at for assisted living. The facade seemed great.

My mother and aunt moved into the Glenmary at Evergreen and they love it. They take them out shopping, and they have stuff throughout the week, but my mom and aunt are still trying to get settled in. Everything is clean, they take care of them, they feed them well, and everything is great. Both of them are eating the food there, and they like it. They're remodelling the whole place, and they're keeping it up good. They have a beauty shop, a cafe, and a ballroom downstairs.

The Glenmary at Evergreen was very nice and clean. The people were very friendly. The rooms were very nice and spacious. We were pleased with it. They had a 1-bedroom and a studio, and we also viewed the actual assisted living portion, which is much smaller. They have a swimming pool, a very nice recreational area, and they meet regularly for games. They also have an art area so they keep them occupied.

I really liked The Glenmary at Evergreen because the area was beautiful. They had different sizes and layouts for the rooms. The staff was very friendly and very thorough. They had a pool and they had transportation available for shopping, movies, doctors' appointments, outings, and trips. They've also got assisted living and nursing care, aside from independent living. I saw the 1-bedroom, the 2-bedroom, and the efficiency apartments. I actually wanted the small one because it was nice and it had a balcony.

The Glenmary at Evergreen was a straight tower. I was able to see their list of activities, which included exercise, trips, outside activities, bingo, game night, and movie night. They had a lot of activities going on. It was awesome. I loved it.

I visited The Glenmary At Evergreen for my parents and it was very good. They gave me a tour and I liked the place. Everybody was very good and nice. The rooms were okay but they were a little small but these type of places tend to be really small. Eveything was clean and taken care of very nicely. I had lunch with the girl there because I wanted to try the food and just see the whole environment and it was good. The dining area was good. There were nice little tables, it was not like a big long cafeteria-type thing. I enjoyed my visit.

I found The Glenmary at Evergreen for my father. We liked that there was independent living and assisted living in one place. The big selling point is that he is able to spend most of his day with the people in independent living but have the things that he needs for assisted living. I’ve been very impressed with the staff and their services; they were very helpful from the beginning. We felt very at home there, plus my father knew a lot of residents, so that was helpful, too. They did a good job at making my father feel like part of the community. He doesn’t have a kitchen there because his meals are all prepared for him, but he does have a refrigerator and a microwave. I have seen the dining room, and the food looks excellent and very appealing to me.

The Glenmary at Evergreen was bright, cheery, and clean. The people were very nice snd said they would put in new carpet and paint any unit we decided to stay in. They have a three-bedroom unit with a balcony. I like everything about it. I saw lots of activities, and also, they provide three meals a day.

The Glenmary at Evergreen is at the top of our list. They have been very nice to us, and they are very helpful. We have a couple of friends that are living there now, and they are vocal to us about how much they love it. The bedrooms and the living area are all of very nice size. The price, the space, and the living facilities are appealing.

It was $300 a month more than where my mother was, but we're very happy that she is at The Glenmary at Evergreen. She has made some friends, and it's a pleasant place to be. They have a lot of activities, but she doesn't like to do them. She doesn't want to go on bus tours or to the stores. The only one she participates in is bingo. I've been there for lunch and dinner. She complains about the food, but I thought it was good. They serve three meals a day. The only complaint I have is that it's a high rise, and most of their activity rooms are in the basement; a lot of the older people complain about it being a little chilly in the basement.

The Glenmary is an independent and assisted living as well. We were very pleased. The rooms were a little small. I don't think my parents would have been happy with the smaller rooms for two people. Now for one person, I think it would have been fine. The director was excellent. He took plenty of time with me and answered every question. I did see one activity, which is an exercise. They were doing great, and it looked like they were having fun. I like the facility. The only thing is for two people, their apartments may have been a little small. But as the director said, they don't want them staying in the apartment, but instead out in the building. It was excellent, and I can't see anything but positive. It was a very good visit.

My mother has been living here for the last two weeks and she is so happy! If you want an upscale community in Midtown Memphis, take a look at the Glenmary. The people who work here are so, so nice and compassionate. We love the Director, Mr. Hanover. He made the move very easy and he helped my Mom get settled in and introduced her to lots of people. Mom is very happy with the meals and I join her once a week for lunch. Mr. Hanover told us it is like restaurant and he was true to his word. I enjoy the meals as much as Mom! Another feature that we are very happy with is the Activities and Programming. Mom has lots of choices that are of interest and appropriate. She loves the Friday Happy Hour and the morning Line Dancing classes. They do a lot at the Glenmary to keep the residents active and engaged and that is exactly what we wanted for Mom. Again...very happy, happy at The Glenmary!!! Thanks to all of you who keep an eye out on my Mom.

I'm in independent living. I live at the Glenmary here in Memphis and have been for two years. I was looking for other facilities because I didn't pick this facility. My family picked it. This facility is for independent and assisted living. There are eleven floors here. Three of the floors are assisted living, and the rest of the floors are independent living. All your meals are included in the rent. It is an excellent facility. It is fine, and I love it. It is gated and they have 24 hour security. The apartment is cleaned every week by the cleaning crew. They take you shopping three times a week, and they take you to plays. They have housekeeping, dining room staff, and home health care. Everything that I enjoy is in independent, and I love it.

They're nice at Glenmary. They do everything. They give medicine, wash clothes, clean the room, and take them to the doctor for free. The rooms were nice. He just got a studio, but he doesn't need that much space. They have larger ones if you want. The food is thought to be very good. They have whatever senior citizen activities, like bingo and they take them to park on outings. It was more diverse than other ones. They're economical, too.

It's been almost a month now since my Mom move to The Glenmary. The facility is clean. They provide their food. The staff is very good, very caring, very gentle. They have all kinds of activities. They even go on field trips.
