"I was very pleased with Parkway Estates. It was very clean and spacious. They're very quick to update the carpet if there are any stains whatsoever. They spend a lot of time cleaning it, they have housekeeping once a week. They also do their laundry for them if they want. They have units that you can step into, if she needs additional care later, where they have 24-hour a day nursing care seven days a week, and three meals a day. So, as her condition gets worse, we have the option to have additional care. I have met with Angie several times, and she has been very accommodating and kind; she's a good listener. She addressed all my sister's questions and took all the time that we needed. She's been very supportive. Their dining area was in excellent condition. The rooms were spacious with a walk-in closet, a full kitchen, and there's a door that leads out onto a patio because they can have their own private patio. They regularly do activities. They're taking anyone who wants to go to Rendleman Orchards, and as the peaches come in they'd have peach cobbler and peach ice cream. A lot of the seniors like to do that, so they have regular activities."

"The facility was very nice compared to others that I had seen. They offered many amenities to the residents such as recreational activities, personalized religious services, and a hair and beauty salon. The staff there was very caring and put my mind at ease. They made me feel like my grandmother was in good hands. They also created a very warm atmosphere for the residents to attempt to make a more "home like" environment. "

"I would go with my girlfriend to visit her grandmother at her housing in the assisted living facility. The staff was relatively nice, some more then others. Some of the staff would joke and talk with you, others would act as if you didnt exist. My girlfriends grandmother never had any complaints about the place or any of the staff. The facility seemed to be treating her grandma really good.The only slight complaint she had is that she got bored a lot. We visited her grandmother several times and each time it seemed like a different staff team was working. The place was kept up and clean and didnt smell strange in any way. Her grandmothers room wasnt the biggest, but it had the basics and was easy to get around in. I wouldnt mind having to go back her place anytime. All together, the place was pretty comfortable, nice and most of all, my girlfriends grandmother was happy there. "

"Fifth Season at Radcliffe Street is very cozy and homey. We felt very welcomed, at home, and very comfortable there. The staff was very friendly. They introduced themselves as soon as we came in. The lady that does the admissions came in and met us. She was very informative. This was our first choice until we went to the other facility. We were told that the cook knows the residents' likes or preferences and cooks specifically for them. I didn't observe any activities, but they do have an activity schedule and things to do with the residents. They are very COVID-minded now that the restrictions are coming down, and they had no COVID in there. They did things with the residents, but they made it so that it wasn't a lot. The rooms vary. They are spacious and nice. They have different options available."

"I have visited The Voyage Senior Living of Marion. It is a relatively new facility and the rooms are spacious. The one-bedroom was spacious, but it did not have a washer and dryer in the unit. The one thing that made my sister choose the other place was, should she need more care, it's available. The Voyage does not have that available, so you would have to move to another facility, and I didn't want to do that later down the line. They were very nice and I liked them a lot, but my sister has a progressive disease, so she would likely need more care later. The staff that I met there was very nice, very professional, kind, and attentive. They did not have two doors to the apartment, they only had one door. I saw a beauty shop there, they have a support dog, and you can go visit with the dog. It just didn't meet our personal needs."

"My mother has moved into Fifth Season of Benton. It is assisted living but she has her own apartment. There is like a little bedroom part, a kitchen part, and a living room part. We are very pleased with it. The place is very clean. The people are very nice and friendly. My mother has a small refrigerator and a microwave in her apartment, but they cook all of her meals. There are three meals a day. They also take care of her medications. The medicine is in a locked drawer in her apartment and they come in twice a day and give her her medicine. She is in a wheelchair but she can get out, take a shower, and do things. There are times when she doesn't feel strong enough, and they will assist her. They do her laundry and clean her apartment. It is just wonderful. The staff members are friendly. When you walk in the door, they all greet you. They're very helpful and pleasant. The people who live there, they joke with them. They care about them. They have a beauty shop. The ladies can get their hair done if they want. They do manicures one day a week. They have a small exercise room, they have separate room, which is like a small library, and they have an activity room where they play games. They play at least one or two games every day. They also have people come in all day, like singers or performers. It is wonderful. There are lots of activities to do. Even just to sit out in the commons and talk to the other people, it is very pleasant. I am very happy with them. They give wonderful food, and my mother is very pleased with the food too. The place is very well laid out. It is worth it, but it is quite a bit of money. As far as the size, it is much more personal. It is not an overwhelmingly big complex. We like it. Also the staff ratio to the people that live there is great."

"All the staff is very kind, professional and helpful. We were provided with a guide to take us to my great-grandmother's room, as well as the offer of coffee or tea. At the end of our visit we had some questions regarding the facility, such as the levels of care that can be provided and the services the residents receive. The lady we spoke to was very patient and provided plenty of helpful information. "

"It's a much newer facility and it is beautiful. There was just one turn off for me with Autumn Ridge. My mother orders her medication online. She gets a three-month supply. It's much less expensive than if she had to go to a drugstore and buy it a month at a time. When they were talking about the medication, they said that all medicine had to be purchased through this local drugstore. That turned me off because she takes a lot of it. However, the staff was very pleasant and the place was very clean. "
