Heritage Woods of Benton is wonderful, and I love it. The staff is very friendly and supportive, and the food is excellent. My room here is very good and everything is great. I think it's wonderful here. I have only been in my apartment since I got here, because of the virus, but they have a nice little restaurant where we have lunch.

About Heritage Woods of Benton in Benton, Illinois
Our community combines residential apartment home living with the availability of personal assistance, support services and opportunities for residents to enjoy the companionship of friends and neighbors and to participate in social events and programs. The two-story building houses 100 apartments, each with its own kitchenette, bathroom with shower, and emergency alert system. Studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom floor plans are available. The building layout consists of four corridors that meet in the middle, where a variety of community areas are available for residents and their families to enjoy. Elevators provide convenient access to and from the second floor. The exterior of the building features two lovely porches on either side of the canopied-covered front entrance as well as a patio off the dining room. Certified nurses assistants are on-duty around-the-clock to provide the personal assistance needed by residents. They work under the direction of the community’s licensed nursing staff. Support services, including three daily meals, housekeeping and laundry, are included in a surprisingly affordable monthly fee. Heritage Woods of Benton is very clean, seems safe and they can do your medicines. My mother will have people take care of her, but yet still have some freedom because it's assisted living. They've got three meals a day, and they will do her laundry. The rooms were big and cozy, and I like that the bathroom was in the bedroom. They've got a mini refrigerator, a microwave, a sink, and a kitchenette.

Heritage Woods of Benton was beautiful and I liked it. The place looked wonderful and really nice. The staff who toured me was very accommodating, informative, and answered all my questions. She was really good. They were in the middle of a fire drill when I was there. The dining area was nice.

All the staff is very kind, professional and helpful. We were provided with a guide to take us to my great-grandmother's room, as well as the offer of coffee or tea. At the end of our visit we had some questions regarding the facility, such as the levels of care that can be provided and the services the residents receive. The lady we spoke to was very patient and provided plenty of helpful information.
