"My mother has moved into The Stilley House Senior Living. She is in assisted living plus. It is a very lovely facility. It is clean. The staff is caring. The meals are good. They worked with me to get my mother's insurance to pay for her care and that has happened. I'm happy that they were able to get that going for her. Her room is adequate for her. She has an adjoining bathroom. It is warm. It is temperature controlled so that she doesn't get hot or cold and that's important for her. The dining area is quite large. It accommodates all the residents who want to have a meal there. She sits in the same place every day with the same residents and friends. She can get there with some help in her wheelchair and she does enjoy the food. They have exercise, games, and church services. My mom is not able to do everything there yet, but I'm hoping that she'll be able to get that done soon."

"My parents have been in Ashby Place for two months now. Everything has been good, and I can see that the good that they doing to my parents as far as their health. They have three meals a day. They have the help that they need. So, far it has been a good experience. Tonight is the night for their Christmas party, and so far everything has been wonderful. My dad has little complaints here and there, but they are very accommodating, and they try to always fix whatever is wrong. They had activities like they have people come in, and they do ceramic ornaments. They play games, and they take them sight seeing. They take them to the barbershops and the hairdresser. I think they have enough activities. They play games like cards with each other. We picked Ashby Place because it seems to be the place that will meet their needs the best. The staff is very accommodating, very helpful, and caring. "

"We toured The Bungalows at Mayfield. Their personnel were very nice. We met one lady who's a resident there, and they care for her well. For a place like that to have just one room, it would be good for somebody who got rid of everything and just had that as their home. I would not eat in their dining room and put that on the lowest approvals. I can't eat on carpet floors. It did not smell good. The facility was new. It looked like it had just gone in a big circle so that somebody with memory problems wouldn't get too awfully lost before somebody could find them and bring them back to their unit, which was good."

"My mother has been a resident since March 2019. I have been very pleased with her care and service and attention to her needs and our family needs, as well. The staff knows her and our family by name. Mother loves every one of them. I am so pleased that we have been blessed to have them!"

"My aunt and uncle lived in Autumn Ridge Supported Living for several years. It was a very nice place that was brand new when they moved in. They served all their meals right there. They had some residents on Medicaid. They did a few day trips, shopping trips, game nights in their dining hall, groups visiting from various churches in the area, singing and preaching. The carpeting in the halls was nice. It was nicely painted, very upbeat, and very bright. The decor was bright. Most of the units were one-bedrooms, but they also had a two-bedroom unit. They had the schedule of events and meals for the month posted on the bulletin board. My aunt and uncle stayed in their apartment to eat and they kind of discouraged that. They wanted the people out socializing in the dining room, which impressed me. The staff was very caring. The food was kind of bland, which it had to be for their diet. Activities were age appropriate, and they had pretty good participation."
