My father has moved into The Neighborhood at Paducah. It's been very good. It was an easy transition from assisted living to memory care. We don't have a lot of memory care facilities in the area and they had a room available and it was close to home instead of having to travel a distance for him. The staff has been great. They have a large common area where they have their meals and there's a separate section that's got a large TV with a couch and several chairs. They have a patio area out back that's fenced in and gated and secured. They have another sitting room that has a library in it and a large fish aquarium. It's very nice. There's another little area where some chairs and some books where they can look out at another garden area (they can't go to that one because it is secured). They have tables where they have puzzles and things like that. I saw a calendar of things that they do. They offer some group activities for the residents and three meals a day and they have snacks available and things like that. When I walked through the other day, around lunchtime, it looked like they had a really good meal and he's not complained about it being bad or anything like that. The increase in cost from where he had been at assisted living was such a shell shock.

I toured The Neighborhood at Paducah. The room that they had us look at looked out onto another building, and it was a long way to the smoking area for my mom. The staff member who gave the tour was very informative and explained everything very well. With regard to amenities, I think they had a library and a garden area.

I visited The Neighborhood at Paducah. I saw a room and I saw the front of the building. It seems like it's convenient to get to and it was nice. I don't have any bad things to say. The structure looked nice and the cleanliness was superb. They were friendly. The rooms were adequate. The courtyard was pretty and green.

The Neighborhood at Paducah was very nice. We thought it would be a good match for my sister. We didn't really do much talking with the staff. We just walked around and saw the property. The rooms were very nice and clean, and it would be a place that I think she would love. We went early in the morning before they started doing any activities, but they told us there were activities. It was very clean. The atmosphere was very nice. If I need a place, I would consider that one. It's not too far from me, so that was another reason why we visited The Neighborhood. We could get there fairly quick and without any problem. That was a plus for us as well.

We have moved my father into The Neighborhood at Paducah. It's the closest memory care facility that we could find. I like the appearance. They're in the transition of course trying to revitalize it but it's nice. The staff is very nice and very friendly. They have good food. We had popcorn shrimp one day, and I remember the peach cobbler was good. There's a very nice courtyard and a nice front porch with rockers. They do like puzzles, dominoes, and painting. They have different activities. It's pretty clean.

The Neighborhood at Paducah facility was very clean and very inviting. When you walk in, it doesn't feel like a nursing home, it feels like a place you want to visit. The assisted living part was very welcoming, then I went back to the memory care and it was also very welcoming. I like the way they set things up and what they have available for their occupants. They have movie nights, they have arts and crafts, and music and they have parties like when they had a clown come in a couple of months ago. They had games and quite a few activities. They have two garden patios that were very nice and there were flowers and plants on their benches. They have a porch at the entry that the assisted living residents can use also, and it's very nice.

The Neighborhood at Paducah is all on one level. The hostess, who is actually the manager of the apartment, was very helpful. The price, I thought, was a little bit expensive for a person with a disability, unless they had a large savings. They had a lovely courtyard. The residents came and introduced themselves, and that was very nice. It had equal perks as far as transportation to and from the doctors, and to the mall and activities as the other place. It had a centralized garden area or terrace. I found their apartments to be average, not above average. They didn't have roll-in tubs for handicapped people, you have to step up. It's a low lip to the shower, but you can't roll your wheelchair in there. They did not offer me meals, but they were cooking when I was there, and it smelled very good. She said they were making meatballs, and the residents were hurrying down. They were seating themselves early so they could make sure they got the smell.

The Neighborhood at Paducah looks excellent and very well-maintained. Its overall appearance is just very pleasing. The staff is good with their communication and my friend is very happy there. She's also very happy with the meals. They have excellent choices and a dining area. It's set up very, very nicely and it's spacious. They have four people at a table and it's very, very well done. They can move around and communicate with other residents. They have all kinds of activities and you don't have to be part of anything if you don't want to, but you can get involved with the others. So, it is very, very convenient. They have some little classes like craft classes, games like dominoes, Bible studies, and some Bible meetings. She's very happy with that. They provide transportation to and from appointments, they could pick up something in the supermarket for you, they have plenty of snacks available, they provide three meals a day, and good cleaning service. It's a very good value for the money.

My dad is at The Neighborhood at Paducah. He has been there almost four years now. It was great before it changed hands, and it has gone downhill ever since. We've asked for doors to be fixed for over a year and it has not happened. They watch TV, they have an exercise class, they play cards, and they play bingo. As for his room, there is mold growing on his furniture, and in the closet, there are drawers that haven't been fixed, and there are cobwebs every time we go in.

We chose The Neighborhood at Paducah. We will be using assisted living for the time being. We chose them because they do have the memory care unit in the same facility when it becomes necessary. That's why we liked the facility. We were pleased with everything that we saw. They're going to repaint the unit that my mother will be in and freshen it up for her. I was overall pleased with the atmosphere and cleanliness. The room that we've chosen for her was very light, airy, and serviceable for what she needs now. We were in there at a time when there were several people out eating lunch. The food looked good, and the people looked happy. The staff was very helpful, very knowledgeable, and very accommodating.

We toured all of the community. It looked very clean and it looked like it was pretty well staffed. It's a very nice looking place. The staff was very friendly, helpful and answered all of our questions. We had a couple of people talked to us, and everybody was very nice. You have to supply your own furniture and stuff over there. We were very pleased with everything about it. They all seemed caring, knowledgeable, and very helpful. It is a very nice place. It's probably where we will end up with. There was someone there that was checking her father out and so I asked her about it, and she had been really pleased with it. Her father had gone past what they were able to care for, and she was having to put him in a nursing home instead. It looked like the perfect place for us if my mom will go ahead and do it. We saw the menu and it looked nice, but we didn't experience it. It's a very beautiful place.

It was clean. There were staff member that were pretty good, but sometimes healthcare workers get burnt out. They had pretty good food; bingo; social events, like ice cream socials; and bands came and played music for the older people, which they really like.

I was very happy with Morningside of Paducah. They spent 2 1/2 hours with me, but they wouldn't take my aunt because she did not meet their requirements. The dining room was large, and the rooms were roomy. I was very pleased. They were very informative.

It was very nice and very upscale looking. The food looked really good. I talked to the residents, and they seemed happy there. The apartments were nice, clean, and comfortable. Every one of that we looked at were very similar. I knew there were activities. They had a calendar each month, so there were different things going on.

The rooms were nice. They have a big lunchroom, but you can also eat in your room. They have activities, and the staff was very nice.

I had looked here and it was a nice enough place. I thought the rooms were spacious. The staff was accommodating. It would have been all right if my husband needed an assisted living, but he didn't. What he needed was a nursing home then.

I have had multiple clients in this facility. This is the cleanest facility that I have ever been in. More importantly they care about their residents very deeply. The food is wonderful and they are the only assisted living facility that I am aware of that has a memory care unit. They are truly wonderful.
