"I toured Promenade Senior Living. Terry did a good job. She was enthusiastic. The rooms were small. It looked good, and they got a good job keeping it clean. I looked at the dining area, and it looked nice."

"My father stayed a few weeks on the acute rehab side and then moved over to the skilled nursing care side for a few more weeks till he got strong enough to come home. First of all, the place is beautiful- both the rooms and overall facility. It is kept very nice and has a cheery atmosphere. It even has its own bakery that is open daily to get a sweet treat. The staff is attentive and patient and hard working on behalf of their patients. They responded to my calls and treated my father with extra special care. We were extremely nervous about having my father in a nursing home...and we got so LUCKY when we found Brooking Park. It was more like a home which was a grateful surprise! I/we highly recommend this facility!"

"My mom is in Friendship Village. The room is spacious. It has a separate bedroom, a small kitchen, and a living room. It is much larger and more reasonably priced than anything else I looked at. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. My mom is very comfortable with them. They have a pretty extensive menu. They have a lot of very good activities. She can stay there for the rest of her life because they have a full continuum of care. "

"My mom has been in Memory Care at Kingsland Walk for over three years. The facility is well maintained and clean. We are thrilled with the Executive Director, who is organized. professional and easy talk with. She is good with employees and always smiling. The staff is wonderful ..from Maintenance to Housekeeping, Medicine and Caregiving. We adore the MC Director, Tanika, and all the Care, devotion and long hours she puts in caring for my mom and all the residents. "We toured the assisted living facility of Autumn View Gardens - Saint Louis for my husband's sister. She went for an evaluation, and it turned out she needed more than what they could offer us. The staff who assisted us were very nice. The cleanliness and the structure of the building were very nice. They also have outdoor spaces."

"My mom moved into Scenic Nursing & Rehab Center. I'm very impressed. They are very caring and solicitous. It's very clean and quiet. It's not screaming televisions everywhere. They have activities three times a day. It varies from bingo to Wii games. My mom is in a shared room, and it is bright and cheerful. It's not huge, but there's room enough for her to have her own dresser if she wants it. There was a small bedside table, but there was a shelf in there. There's plenty of wall space for me to put pictures because my mother was an artist. So she'll be able to have a couple of her paintings that are there. It's going to be intimate. There's plenty of room for her to maneuver around in a small wheelchair and then to get in and out of the hallway. Their admissions staff was wonderful. My husband was blown away. They were wonderful with my mom and ever so gentle in getting her out of the car, getting her in there, and getting her settled. It's a 170-bed facility, but it feels intimate. The hallway was painted bright turquoise blue, and it was cheerful. The staff has been terrific, like when answering the phone and going through their COVID procedures when you're coming in. They've got a small, pretty, little garden area. It sits up on a hill. It looks like they've got a lot of activities for them to do."

Crystal Oaks unsure at first, but the way staff made him feel he was a part of the family he loved when he would go out with family in on holidays and weekends he would worry about getting back home. No better feeling that caring and loving staff are out there he passed peacefully with his family including the Crystal oaks staff by his side. Excellent rehab as both grandparents spent time on it. Thanks for all those hard working ladies and gentleman for such great care from nurses, aides, transport, housekeeping, therapy, activities and management."

"I visited Cedarhurst of Arnold. I liked the atmosphere and the style. It was a very new place. I liked how they had things set up for entertainment, activities, cognitive, and everything like that. I did not like their pricing though. Their pricing is out of sight. The receptionist was amazing and the tour was great. It was very clean. The amenities are all there, but the prices are not reflective of this area."

"Meadowview Memory Care was secure and clean. The rooms were adequate. Tammy was great. She showed me around. She was very nice and helpful. I don't know about the food, but the dining area seemed adequate and clean. The kitchen seemed clean. I saw one table where residents were playing cards, and the rest of the people were either in their rooms or watching TV. They just don't accept Medicaid residents."

"My wife has been a resident at Bethesda Southgate in the memory care area for a little over 2 years. I chose southgate after visiting many different locations. I have had some experience in the past with elder family members at other facilities and I had a good idea of what to look for and what to avoid. The first thing that was apparent to me was the cleanliness of the facility. It was and remains odor free. The staff was and remains very personable and interested in not only my wife but our family. Because my wife, who has aphasia, tends to wander security had to be high on my list of needs and southgate has always provided for that level of care. During the pandemic we continue to have to deal with, I have been very pleased with the way Administration at the facility has gone above and beyond to continue to provide a safe and secure living environment. We have all had to make sacrifices and southgate has made those as painless as possible. I am very glad I chose southgate and have to emphasize the friendly and caring atmosphere, the extremely competent management and the cleanliness of the facility. I have to also offer that the meals are well above what one might expect."

"Mattis Pointe Senior Living told me that they were different from other places, where my mother has to go straight to memory care because of her diagnosis. Here, she could go to assisted living, and they don't charge for the levels of care, as a lot of places do. That's a plus. I have met several staff members. All the nurse's aides that passed me in the hall greeted me, and everybody was super nice and super friendly."
