"I like it best that the Woodlands is a duplex. It has a yard, we have help if we need it, there is lunch five days a week and the food is fairly good. Everything is very clean and very nice. It is for both my parents and they both have a bathroom, a laundry area, a living room, a dining room, and two bedrooms. The staff members are very nice and very helpful. I would recommend it because it provides assisted living, so you don't have to worry about your parents. It is very nice and very clean, the staff answers all our questions. Each had nice floor and window coverings, large closets, newer appliances and nicely appointed service areas. The bathrooms had walk-in showers with support railings and plenty of storage cabinets. There was also a fireplace, nice meeting rooms for reserved private gatherings, lounges and other activity areas. The dining room menu options looked appetizing. This looked and felt like a well-tended assisted living facility where residents are take care of on an as-needed basis. "

"St. Louis Altenheim is pretty fancy. It's right on the Mississippi River. You look out and you see the barges, then you look north, and you see The Arch. I have a one-bedroom that's about 30 by 30. I am on the corner so it has two big windows on each side. The accommodations are very nice. The people are very, very friendly and so are the residents here. The staff go out of their way to help everybody. They are knowledgeable and helpful and I'm just very comfy. You supply your own appliances. I bought a small refrigerator, but your meals are supplied here. They serve you three meals a day and their dining is not like a cafeteria. They have people that serve you. You sit there and they feed you. The activities are varied and they are very good. There is a craft room and they offer different entertainment. There are like three or four parlors and TVs all over the place. It's quite nice."

"My dad moved into Willow Creek Rehab & Nursing. They are very helpful with completing the paperwork for Medicare. The staff is friendly. However, it doesn't seem like they have enough staff. They have a medical support team, so the rehab team is good. I noticed their dayroom where everybody was watching TV. They sit around and enjoy each other's company. The rooms are very plain, so you'll have to bring your own TV. There's only the bed and nightstand. There was no courtyard, and that's another thing that I wasn't completely happy with. Two abandoned buildings were sitting next to it."
