The Riverview assisted living facility in Saint Louis seemed like a well-tended facility, from the moment we arrived. The main rooms were spacious, warm and well lit, with fresh flowers. We saw residents participating in games, conversation, exercise and reading. There are also craft, media, music and computers. The apartments were suitably sized, though not terribly large. Each had nice floor and window coverings, large closets, newer appliances and nicely appointed service areas. The bathrooms had walk-in showers with support railings and plenty of storage cabinets. The list of planned activities was diverse, from outings to exercise classes. The salon offers spa-like services for residents The wellness clinic staff regularly visits residents at their convenience. There was also a fireplace, nice meeting rooms for reserved private gatherings, lounges and other activity areas. The dining room menu options looked appetizing. The snacks are plentiful and offered regularly. Residents may also request that meals be delivered to them if they would prefer to dine alone. This looked and felt like a well-tended assisted living facility where residents are take care of on an as-needed basis.
