The CONCEPT is quite simple. As members of our community, we reach out from our hubs to provide services to our community, developing PROJECTS which meet the needs and wants of our customers while supporting our customers in supporting their community. Operating from each customer's person centered plan, PROJECTS are identified (or created) which will meet the needs and wants of the individual. To encourage team work, the support team will work with the individual in identifying other customers who might be interested in the same PROJECTS and will support that individual in coordinating a team. Within the framework of PROJECTS, on-going training will occur in "real time". General Information Our customers must have developmental disabilities and be at least 19 years of age. Services can be purchased through Medicaid, Medicaid Waiver, Department of Mental Health Purchase of Service funds or private funding. We are not interested in the quantity of customers served, but the quality of that service. We are not interested in controlling our customers' lives, but in providing the skills to take control of their own lives.

"We have been using St. Elizabeth Adult Day Care for my dad for almost a year now. I have no complaints with their care. It is convenient for me especially when I'm in school right now. The staff there is okay. They also have a quite few activities there. "

"Garden View Care Center of Dougherty Ferry was a very nice facility. The staff was very friendly staff, very accommodating, and very nice. I like the layout. I knew what my brother liked. It was really a small area, but they've got very nice staff and very nice people. We couldn't go a thorough tour because of the Covid. They had a salon, but I didn't get to see a lot of it. I had a cup of coffee, and it was good. They had a lot of things they offered in the memory care unit. It was just so restricted because of the Covid."

"My mom is in Ronal C Bridewell Christian Adult Daycare Center. Everybody is extremely kind. The place is very clean. It is more like a gym where everybody is designated to different sections of whatever activity it is that they're doing. My mom loves this daycare. She was not happy about going there originally because she thought there were just old people. However, they handle all ages, and she really enjoys the field trips and activities. She almost sounds like a kindergartener every day when she gets home telling us about her experience."

"Serenity Adult Day Center has been the best thing to ever happen to my family. I am the full time caregiver for my brother and Serenity Adult Day Center provides me the opportunity to go to work with the knowledge he is being cared for by loving, trustworthy and super kind staff! He loves the home cooking!!! He has made freindships with many of the other members and has so much fun. He calls the center his " Happy Place"! They go on amazing outings, have musicians come in to play music and do interesting and relevent projects/crafts. Serenity has brought new life back into my brother's life. "I really liked Garden View Care Center of Chesterfield. I would've chosen them if they had been more cooperative. I wanted all their amenities, and the layout of the place was great. They had a weird Covid rule that they had to lock my brother up, and we pay somebody $22 an hour to make him stay in his room. That is crazy. He's got dementia and that's very cruel to do that to somebody. I liked the layout. You walk down a huge hallway. It has all the amenities, a little room like a sports room, and a little conference room for you to be with your family. It has a dining area for you to have a private meal with your family, which I thought was great. They had a huge room, fireplace, baby grand piano, and a place where they had birds that's called an aviary. I really, really wanted that place, but it's a little far for me and they wanted to lock him in his room; you can't do that to a dementia patient. That would have been a great place for him to be. I did taste their ice cream, and it was delicious. They get a five on their food. Their staff was OK, so it must be the owners. That policy of locking this man in his room and pay somebody $22 an hour was a dealbreaker. It's not a convenient location for us, but I would have done it because I liked the facility. Their policies just absolutely stink. You must make a secure unit, but you don't lock them in their room. They don't get a good rating for policy at all."

"My sister, who has developmental disabilities as well as dementia, has been a client at All Generations for 6 years and it has been a wonderful experience. The staff are caring and compassionate. They really get to know the client and work with them at their own level. There are activities like crafts, games, puzzles, movies to engage them, as well as daily exercise and current events review to engage body and mind. They also go on field trips out in the community, like museums and bowling, or to parks. They get a nutritious breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks and encouragement to eat. They even provide transportation! Being able to send my sister here daily and know that she is safe and cared for, has enabled me to continue caring for her at home, while still having a life of my own and avoiding burnout. I HIGHLY recommend All Generations to anyone looking for a Day Center for their loved one."

"My mother is doing daycare at Reflections at Garden Place at this time. I like that it's a very small facility and only has 19 residents, and they appear to get very individualized care. The staff was all very nice and helpful. They explained every detail of their facility to me. I like that they have a daycare option because other places don't. I like that they have an activity on a daily basis. It's just a variety of things that they do with their patients. They also have a weekly outing. They get to go shopping, out to lunch, things like that. I didn't really see anything about it that I disliked. It was very nice and very clean. Every morning they have a coffee club where they do devotional activities for those who are interested. My mother was playing a little bowling game with pins and a ball on the floor. They have a weekly birthday party for whoever. If nobody has a birthday, they make something up. They had a McDonald's birthday party and had McDonald's for lunch. There's just a long list of things that they do to keep them active and keep their minds fresh."

"Whenever I have to go to work, my mom goes to Senior & Co Adult Day Services and their services are very good. The staff is very nice and when unusual things happen, they always report it to me. They have very nice food there. My mom has dementia and she can't remember what happens, but on the few occasions that I arrive early to pick her up and I can see that they are trying to keep them engage in some type of activity, whether its game playing or something where they are required to participate in like storytelling or handicrafts. "
