Midwest Rehab does not have a good reputation. They do take mental health patients, and that is hard to find in the area, so they are used. It is a really old facility as well.

A family friend is at Calvin Johnson Care. The staff is nice and tries to help as best as they can. I think it can be kept cleaner and needs to have some kind of air freshener to mask the smell.

Our experience with Midwest Rehab is not too good. First of all, we had to wait for quite a while for them to accommodate us. The staff who showed us around was OK. The facility did not look really updated. I saw a lot of the residents sitting around in the hallways. I wouldn’t want my mother to be in this facility.

They helped my Aunt with her rehabilitation after she suffered several strokes. She was unable to safely walk around. She worked with their physical therapist for a while. The facility was clean, some of the staff were friendly. There were a lot of residents. My aunt shared a room with another lady. I really did not like that there was no privacy. I think some of the staff could care a little bit more and do more activities with the residents. However, it was a decent place, but will not send her back to there.
