During Covid my brother had a 3 month ordeal in hospital and at discharge the facility he had lived at for over two decades refused to take him back. Community Care gave him a chance. In my mind this place is a hidden gem. I visited once or twice a week and always found the place clean and bright. Staff always friendly and helpful . Nurses kept us well informed ,valued our suggestions and shared care plans. I am grateful he was able to live in a place where he was so well cared for.

Dont even waste your time. Their admissions person is a complete mess. Spent a week and a half calling every day to see if there was a free bed. Every time I called they asked all of my information as if it was the first time. They had asked me to send an email with the would-be resident's medical info and medicaid #. Yet I call the next day and what I get is , whats your name again? What is the situation of the person? Can I get your number? Of course I never got a callback. Every time I called they were "checking" to see if there was a bed or she was "waiting" to hear from her director. Or, who am I again? Of course every day she complained they were just swamped... yeah I get it but your job is to organanize the applications right ? Or what is the point of having an admissions person? Also, if there is no beds, then why would you be swamped, just let everyone know they're full.. but maybe she did the same to everyone. I mean,... is there a bed or not ?? How hard is that ?? Again, don't waste your time. Just seems like the place is a whole mess.

My mother was there for 4 months and lost 60 pounds . They would always put my mother on speaker when we called her they would tell her what to say. We could always hear the staff yelling at her.

Husband was a resident there for 2 years He was admitted to the hospital, diagnosis stroke. came back to facility fell three times in two days. Went to hospital again three days later, aspirated pneumonia And fractured hip. Received letter dated 12/31 stated Bed hold policy. Received in mailed 1/2 called morning of 1/3. Talked to pesonell , told it was standard policy. Hospital discharged him, which they know of. At 4 pm Hospital social worker informed they gave his bed away. Hospital had never heard of this happening. PLease keep your loved ones away from this facility

This nursing home took excellent care of my mother. The nurses and staff always said "Hello" when they saw her and made her stay there very pleasant and peaceful. The rooms were always very clean and she was always kept clean and comfortable. I wish to thank them for making my mothers final months and day very peaceful for her and our family. I will always be greatful for the care and compassion they showed her.

Community Care Center of Lemay is a very clean place. My husband is currently at this nursing home. The rooms are nice and big. Anybody that works there says “hello” to you. He receives excellent care. They play bingo, cards, and have meetings once a week for all the residents there.
