I visited The Summit of Germantown. It was a wonderful experience. The place was beautiful. We loved all the amenities. The staff was very nice, and she answered all our questions. The one we looked at was a one-bedroom, and it was nice. It would have been adequate for my mother's needs. They showed us the gym, the swimming pool, where they have exercise with an instructor, the cafeteria, some of the rooms where they play games, the library, and things of that nature.

I toured The Summit of Germantown. The community was nice. They had a nice little courtyard and an area for the dogs to play. It looked safe. They had a fence around it with an automatic gate. However, I was a little upset. The sales agent or whoever she was that does the bookings had double-booked herself, and I sat and waited for her for two hours. I felt I got pushed off onto somebody else who didn't know what she was doing. The rooms were nice. They had a very large kitchen, which is larger than the kitchen I have now at home, which is good. The bedrooms were fine. The bathroom was large, but the living rooms were a little on the small side. However, it looked like it was well-maintained.

My wife's cousin is now at The Summit of Germantown. She has been there for a week now. It's excellent. It couldn't be better. I like the beautiful wide hallways. It's easygoing and secure. Excellent staff. My wife's cousin's room is adequate and essentially brand new. It's a bedroom, a kitchen, and a little living room. It's very nice. The dining area is very nice, too. My wife's cousin is happy with the food. The places we visited were very impressive. But it came down to a financial decision, and that's why we chose The Summit of Germantown. They're accommodating.
