"We went to Shoals. They have one studio apartment that was available for folks to look at, but I don't think it was the one that you could actually move into. There were no patients around; it was just family and the director there. We didn't get to go in. The staff was wonderful, very nice, patient, took a lot of time, answered questions, and provided information. We saw the model room, and they have a lot of virtual things that were discussed with us, but as far as going anywhere around the other residents, we didn't because of COVID. They have a dining room there, and they told us when COVID restrictions were loosened that you could have all the family come in and have dinner with the resident. It was away from the main dining room. We saw that from inside the lobby."

"My husband was in rehab here for a couple of months and received excellent care. The staff was very supportive and worked not only with their patients but provided the caretakers up-to-date information to be sure they were well informed of the progress of the patients. I highly recommend Glenwood and know others who have been in convalescent care there and hear good reports from them also. "

We never had long waits for care, the food was healthy and balanced, and the rehab center is state of the art. I would recommend Mitchell Hollingsworth to anyone in the area needing short or long term care. "

"This is a very caring facility with a homelike atmosphere. My sister is there and we are so please with her care. She has Alzheimers and a colostomy bag which the nurse there takes care of. They do her clothes for her, help her shower and help dress her every morning. They have plenty of trained staff including a nurse. It is in a country setting and the vacility itself that looks like a large vacation lodge. The fee there is more reasonable than other assisted living homes in this area. It is not as grand looking as some, but is a homey place with a porch and lots of rocking chairs and a swing. They exercise daily and play games. The lady who help them with the activities has worked there over 25 years and has a vibrant personality which is good for the residents. There is usually a waiting list. "
