"I was at Mitchell-Hollingsworth Nursing & Rehabilitation Center LLC for three weeks. I was at The Summit Rehab part. The care was excellent. Nurses and aides were quite responsive. If for any reason I had to do the call button, they were prompt to answer. The rehab facility itself was excellent. The therapist worked with me and I did make great strides. Everyone I ran into was very caring and supportive. It was clean and had a pleasant atmosphere. Initially, I had a double room, but within three days, I was moved to a private room. The rooms looked out onto a courtyard with trees and birdfeeders. There's a built-in bureau and closet, and bathroom with shower. It was quite comfortable. Each room had its own thermostat or heat and air. There was an activity center with two activities scheduled each day. I participated in some of them if I wasn't in therapy. I participated in bingo and I participated in the Valentine's Day party where they crowned a king and a queen. There is a permanent residence unit, and they were mainly the ones in the activities. They had a library where I was free to borrow books. They had a common area where you could sit and visit with visitors if you did not want to visit in your room. As part of my therapy, I was able to walk around outside when the weather was nice and that felt good to be outside and look at the flowers that were beginning to bloom. They have a room for residents with a refrigerator where you could go get ice cream, sandwiches, snacks, and things like that if you did not like the meal, and that was nice."

"My friend Faye was a resident at Glenwood for several months recently. She really enjoyed her stay and would recommend Glenwood to her friends and family members. While she was there she enjoyed getting to greet everyone each morning over the intercom where she told residents what they could look forward to for lunch that day. Also she spent more time visiting with residents and guest than she did in her room , even though, she had a nice room with a big window looking out where she could watch the birds on feeders. One of her most favorite activities was playing bingo, she won several prizes. I know she also enjoyed when groups came in to sing (her favorite were the gospel groups). She often shared with me how nice the staff was and how well they took care of the residents. She enjoyed her stay and felt like she left family behind when she left the facilities to go back home with her son."

"I was a patient with Florence Rehab for a month recovering from a fractured hip and I was SO impressed with the quality of care and compassion from the nursing staff, therapy team and the general warm caring attitude of everyone. "We like that the nursing staff at NHC Healthcare. They are very caring and communicate with us about mom's care. The support staff, physical and occupational therapists and the social worker that works with her are on top of things. They are very good in working with her and with us. Any issues that come up they are very prompt about contacting us. She seems to really like the food and she is eating well. "
