"I visited Foxbridge. It was a nice tour. The staff was very helpful, very patient, kind, and answered all of our questions. It was very clean. They had different-sized rooms that could accommodate a person. It was a clean, nice room. They have common areas right outside. They will have a group of like four rooms and they have a common area for those rooms. They have a dining area and an activity room. I really wasn't looking at the decor, but from what I remember, it was nice and up-to-date. They had multiple large screen TVs, water dispensers sitting out, and a coffee station. They encourage their residents to drink water, so they have a dispenser there."

"Quail Ridge was neat and clean. The staff was friendly. They're going through some administrative changes about family and friends visiting due to COVID, and I understand that. They had little areas for the patients to familiarize themselves in their familiar areas like cooking, sewing, arts and crafts, things of that nature that keep them possibly focused, so that was OK."

"I toured The Goldton At Southaven. It was a very clean place. The only cons were the drive-in, the parking lot is rough and needs to be resurfaced, and a lot of potholes. He said some of that was related to the building that was going on in their subdivision that they're putting in out there for senior living. They followed up on my visits, both he and the director of the facility. He took me through the dining room and showed me the weekly menu. Out to the back porch, because my aunt smokes, he showed me where she would have to come to smoke. I was just on the first level, and we went to the furnished apartment. Sonny was a very pleasant young man. He seemed very caring of the residents, answered my questions, and provided the information in a nice binder that I could take with me. He was very friendly and informative."

"My parents were at The Langford of Collierville for about a year. It was very nice. They were very attentive. We wish they'd been a little more attentive to some hygiene issues like toenails though. Other than that, I would have felt comfortable leaving my mom there, but my sister wanted to bring her into her home because of all the Covid issues and everything. They were restrictive with Covid, but they had a good record of not having anybody with Covid in the facility, so that made a big difference. The food looked great. I would eat the food. I thought the rooms were very spacious and very clean for the most part. They've got really big bathrooms where they can maneuver wheelchairs and walkers in the bathroom. The facility was very nice and brand new. They were like one of the first families that moved there. They were in memory care. The atmosphere was very nice, and they had activities for the older people, they listen to the piano and do arts and crafts projects and that kind of thing. They have a little workout area that you could go to if you were able to. You could go out in the middle of the garden in the facility. It's a nature kind of thing. They also had a lot of trips that they could go on like tours of the City of Collierville or they would take them shopping if they wanted to go. They did some other fun things like just to tour around Memphis. We would permit them to take our parents somewhere to visit."

"BeeHive Homes of Collierville is a new place. It has 23 beds, and they only have 5 people there. So right off the bat, my sister will be getting good attention. They said they could work with the pricing and stuff, so it looks promising. I like that it is well-staffed. It offers single rooms and companion rooms, and they were a little bit bigger. We talked to the chef and one of the caregivers, and they were very friendly. It is located out in the woods. There are a whole lot of trees and stuff around. It is nice and peaceful since it's on a quiet road. My sister has the tendency to wander, so she needs to be in a secure place. BeeHive Homes of Collierville is a secure place. They have two double doors. If you press on the bar, it will set off an alarm. The dining area was open. The surroundings were excellent. All three sides were trees and woods. It is only one way in, and that is via a highway out there. They were also the lowest cost price of all the other facilities."

"Apple Grove was really nice. It was spacious, and I like it. The dining room was real nice, and they had a nice entertainment area. They had a lot of activities for the residents. They have an Alzheimer’s program. "

"I like The Pointe because of its size; it is very small, and the people here are just incredible. My mother’s room is fine. They’re having an Easter party, they do Bingo, and they play all kinds of games. They go shopping, and they had a little city tour the other day. "

"It was a beautiful place. The staff was friendly and nice. We visited the memory care and the lady that gave the tour was very nice and very helpful. She gave a complete tour of the place with no problems. They offer single private rooms, which was kind of what we were looking for. The dining area was first-class. It was like eating in a restaurant. It had plenty of room and you can either sit by yourself or with a group. When we walked in, they were going to an activity session with the people in memory care. It was very enlightening to see people taking part in this activity. There was a slideshow where one of them was doing cards and stuff like that and she was just telling them what she was showing to them and asked questions. It was nice because it kind of stimulate their minds."

"Trezevan Manor is too expensive for me -- I can’t afford to give them $150,000 -- but it’s very nice and very friendly. Their meals were not that good, and the rooms were very lovely. There are older people there, and they loved it. Their independent living is very good. "

"I'm very happy with Hermitage Gardens for my mom. I chose this facility because it was close to where I work, so it is convenient for me to get to her. Aside from assisted living, they also have a memory care facility. They also have a nice dining room. The staff there is very nice and takes care of everything. They check on their residents all day long. My mom gets her medicine on a regular basis and every time they give her her medicines, they would go into her room and check on her. They also clean her room once a week and change her beddings every two weeks. "

"Wesley Meadows is great. The place is not as modern, and it has been there a long time. The eating facility is like going to a restaurant where you order off from a menu. We were there during the meal and everything looked delicious. The apartments were not as nice. They're older. However, they have remodeled quite a few apartments. They were freshly painted and everything was clean. We were there while they were cleaning some of the apartments and the staff members were nice. The folks living there were very cordial and had no problem with us looking through their apartment. It was a good experience. They have a wonderful exercise area. The people seem to be very nice and very informative. We're on the waiting list. As soon as they have an availability, then we'll make the move."

"We toured Christopher's Place and it was very nice. The price was in the right range. It was a smaller facility, but it was a very nice building. It's a little bit dated being a little bit older, and their rooms were a little bit smaller, but you could tell that it was well-maintained. It's privately owned, and I met one of the owners, and he was just very gracious and welcoming. The lady who gave me the tour was very nice, very open, and was able to answer all the questions I needed. You could see the compassion she had for my friend. I liked that she talked to my friend who needed the senior facility and not to me. She treated her as a person. The dining area was adequate. They had snacks available for the people who lived there. Their menu looked really good. They had two different options for the day, a lighter fare, and then if you don't want that one, you can have the other sandwich and soup option. They have various patios with a few chairs. It was not super impressive, but they had a place outside."
