Nursing Home Communities in Bartlett, TN

"I just had to write to you and tell you how grateful we are to the wonderful staff at Grace Healthcare of Cordova. Donnie came to you in an ambulance after spending 70 days in the hospital after suffering a brain aneurysm. He had a trach, a feeding tube and was on oxygen when he came and had lost all of his muscle mass. He was released 3 months later, walking with a walker, able to use the toilet, eating extremely well, talking his head off and able to walk up the steps when we got home. I want to thank our nurses, Nancy Hester, Anja Rivers, Erika Grant, Bernadette Leach, Sara Moore and Jason Nash, our CNAs, Jaime Payne, Priscilla Greer, Veronica Bougard, Karen Crowder and Rachel Freeman, our Therapists, Pauline, Marilyn and Shelley, our Wound Care Nurses, Nichole, Belinda and Chelsea and our Social Workers, Cassandra and Kristian. I know I probably forgot somebody but just know we appreciate all of you. Donnie is getting stronger every day. Shelley, thank you for the gift you sent, even if it had an ALABAMA logo. "I was very dissatisfied with Bright Glade Convalescent Center. Before I spoke to these people yesterday, they assured us that my brother was not nursing home material nor was he a memory care material. So I was under the pretense that it was assisted living and that's where they were sending me to there. And it was horrible. The people that were in the room, they're nursing and they're in beds. I was very disappointed in the staff, too. They sent me to the office, which allowed me to look into the rooms. This was like 10 in the morning, and everybody was still in their beds. I felt like they should all be up and moving around, which my brother would have been. The receiving area is like a banquet room and next to it is where you eat your dinner. I taught school for 40 years, and the dining area looked like a cafeteria with long tables and tablecloths on it. Overall, it was weird because the first time I went there, they were more than happy to accommodate me, and then by Monday, it was all different. And the staff didn't call me back. They need to improve on communication."

"My mom is at Memphis Jewish Home & Rehab. It's a wonderful place. It's well staffed and the people are caring. They have great activities for the residents. They try to keep everybody engaged and they are also communicable. Also, the rooms are very nice and comfortable."

"I visited The Villages of Germantown. The people were very happy. It was big, nice, and lovely. "

"Signature HealthCare is really clean, nice, and everybody seems pretty friendly. They got health care, physical therapy, full-service. It's a 1-story building with regular nursing rooms. "

"If you love your parents, don't send them to Allen Morgan. The independent living is great as well as assisted, but don't expect the level of care at Allen Morgan. Please look at the reviews and the same issues have been occurring year after year and administration does nothing. We decided to leave after 6 months since our issues weren't addressed. CNAs who were constantly on their phones and even sleeping. There are more assisted living facilities to chose from so why settle for less for people you love?"

"Rooms are small as expected. Sometimes you get an aggravating roommate, but just have to deal with it. PT Staff VERY caring ! This was the 2nd time I've been in this facility (rehab from falls in my home) Be aware, once your Insurance runs out... you're OUT THE DOOR. ha"

"Midsouth Home Health Care was one of the best things to happen to our family throughout my grandmother's sickness. Two different nurses came to the house twice a week (equalling four times). One nurse took my grandna's vutals, checked her legs and feet for swelling, and answered any questions we might have had. The other nurse was a physical therapist. She got my grandma up, made her walk with a walker, and showed us daily excercises to do. MHHC is a wonderful service. They actually care about patients. "

"My husband was bedridden when he went to the Highlands, and they help him with his physical and occupational therapy. The room is nice and clean. They have some activities every day. They have bingo, movie nights, and picnics. The food is good, and they try to accommodate his taste. The dining area was nice with tables, chairs, and a piano. It is so light and a spacious place. It is secure with a code, and the code is changed every month. It is a nice place for me. "

"There are too many problems too count in this nursing home; I wouldn't even know where to start. Suffice it to say that it has a one-star rating by Medicare/Medicaid for a reason. I am sorry to say that I would not recommend this facility to anyone. There are many employees there that should be fired. Patients who cannot feed themselves are not getting fed, or to be fair, not much effort is being made to feed them. Patients who are bedridden are getting bedsores because they are not being turned enough. Some of the staff is pleasant but many of them are just there for a paycheck and can't wait to clock out. Please think long and hard before you put a loved one in Ashton Place! "

"The rooms were pleasant and a step above most care centers we've been to. Staff was extremely helpful and great about calling us with notifications. My aunt enjoyed their courtyard and salon the most. Staff treated her like family. Hopefully this is unnecessary but would send her to them again."

"Millington Health Care Center is a very good facility. The nurses and the aides are attentive to the resident's needs. I have no complaints. It is a very clean facility, and my mother enjoyed the food there. "

"My mother is in Quince Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for long-term care. It is a clean facility. The staffing is great. They're very attentive and they always keep me informed of what's going on. I think she's getting the value for the cost. She's in a semi-private room. It has two beds, two closets, restroom, and two TVs. I know there's a salon in there and an activity area. Whenever I go (and I go often at least a couple of times a week), it's always very clean. It seems to be very sanitized. They make sure people wear their masks. We had the Mother's Day brunch. It was better than hospital food; it was pretty good. They're really accommodating."

"Toured the facility with my sister when we were looking for a place for my Father. Clean and friendly staff. We chose an eldercare home that was closer to where my sister lived, that was the only reason we did not choose Majestic."
