The Best Nursing Home Communities in Crittenden County, AR

"Midsouth Home Health Care was one of the best things to happen to our family throughout my grandmother's sickness. Two different nurses came to the house twice a week (equalling four times). One nurse took my grandna's vutals, checked her legs and feet for swelling, and answered any questions we might have had. The other nurse was a physical therapist. She got my grandma up, made her walk with a walker, and showed us daily excercises to do. MHHC is a wonderful service. They actually care about patients. "

"There are too many problems too count in this nursing home; I wouldn't even know where to start. Suffice it to say that it has a one-star rating by Medicare/Medicaid for a reason. I am sorry to say that I would not recommend this facility to anyone. There are many employees there that should be fired. Patients who cannot feed themselves are not getting fed, or to be fair, not much effort is being made to feed them. Patients who are bedridden are getting bedsores because they are not being turned enough. Some of the staff is pleasant but many of them are just there for a paycheck and can't wait to clock out. Please think long and hard before you put a loved one in Ashton Place! "

"My brother has been in Graceland Rehabilitation and Nursing Center Inc. for about a month now. He's there for rehab. They've been excellent, so far, and the staff is very, very helpful. They've been helping him out and everything. The actual facility is nice. It's a good place to start out if you're looking for a rehab center. My brother is in rehabilitation, so they help him get to and from his doctor's appointment, they get him to classes and stuff like that. I spoke with a couple of the staff and they took him out to little outings to the zoo and Wal-Mart. They give him a card to get something to eat. They're just very helpful and caring."

"If you love your parents, don't send them to Allen Morgan. The independent living is great as well as assisted, but don't expect the level of care at Allen Morgan. Please look at the reviews and the same issues have been occurring year after year and administration does nothing. We decided to leave after 6 months since our issues weren't addressed. CNAs who were constantly on their phones and even sleeping. There are more assisted living facilities to chose from so why settle for less for people you love?"

"My husband was bedridden when he went to the Highlands, and they help him with his physical and occupational therapy. The room is nice and clean. They have some activities every day. They have bingo, movie nights, and picnics. The food is good, and they try to accommodate his taste. The dining area was nice with tables, chairs, and a piano. It is so light and a spacious place. It is secure with a code, and the code is changed every month. It is a nice place for me. "

"My mother was put in this nursing home on 5/25 and I fought tooth and nail for this not to happen because of the horror stories that I know about nursing homes. To my surprise the care was much better than I thought of. My mother thought those people was her family. They all knew her and came in her room to make sure she had everything. The therapy department made her participate even when she didn’t feel like it and that is what she needed. She really loved Rachel her therapist. Whenever I need information about her doctor appointments or what medicine she is on I can call the D.O.N Farris and she goes over everything and she is real patience. The kitchen manager even made me a lunch tray when I was there and the food was good. My mom will be here for 100 days so she will be leaving soon but if she ever need to go back i would let her go back. "

"When my mother moved in December 2015, this facility was in transition. Now they have a new administrator, new director of nursing, assistant director of nursing, a lot of new staff, and the best of the best are still there! My mother receives great care and concern, staff is approachable and helpful, and the administration is the best! Give this place a chance, be patient,and be involved. You won't be disappointed. "I was very dissatisfied with Bright Glade Convalescent Center. Before I spoke to these people yesterday, they assured us that my brother was not nursing home material nor was he a memory care material. So I was under the pretense that it was assisted living and that's where they were sending me to there. And it was horrible. The people that were in the room, they're nursing and they're in beds. I was very disappointed in the staff, too. They sent me to the office, which allowed me to look into the rooms. This was like 10 in the morning, and everybody was still in their beds. I felt like they should all be up and moving around, which my brother would have been. The receiving area is like a banquet room and next to it is where you eat your dinner. I taught school for 40 years, and the dining area looked like a cafeteria with long tables and tablecloths on it. Overall, it was weird because the first time I went there, they were more than happy to accommodate me, and then by Monday, it was all different. And the staff didn't call me back. They need to improve on communication."

"The ladies and gentlemen at this facility are very kind and gentle and very attentive with my father. They are very responsive to any questions regarding my fathers health. I love the staff. The facility is clean. I only have one complaint and that is that the administrative staff is not responsive at all. They do not return calls and do not seem to have any sense of urgency in helping me to resolve issues that I have. Very disappointing. "

"I wrote this review to tell others about the wonderful experience I had at Spring Gate my family was on vacation when a member of our family became very ill and we had to find someplace there to give care to them for several weeks... this was a very stressful situation for us because we live several hundred miles away and would be dealing with this for the next six to seven weeks... after reviewing several facilities our choice became clear and we selected spring gate for the care of our loved one. I just wanted to take the time to thank the staff of caregivers for the wonderful job they did for our family"

"I had a hard time finding a nursing home that I liked for my Father - Signature Heathcare Dovecrest was his third nursing home. I wish it would of been the first place because this nursing home was amazing! They have people that work there that really care. They aren't there to just get a paycheck. When you go online to try to find a nursing home - people always write all the negative things about them. So - I thought I'd take some time to actually write about this place so it could help someone that was looking for a nice place. The nurses and social worker was wonderful. My Dad would tell me when I would go visit him that they treat him like a King. It made me feel good knowing that my Dad was happy and well taken care of. I can not say one negative thing about this place. "

"Signature HealthCare is really clean, nice, and everybody seems pretty friendly. They got health care, physical therapy, full-service. It's a 1-story building with regular nursing rooms. "

"My mother was in rehab at Signature HealthCARE of Primacy for six weeks. Everybody was very nice and very accommodating. I didn't have any issues with anything. She was taken care of. They always kept me informed on what's going on, her treatments or medications, and even her activities. She was in a semi-private room. It had two living areas, two TVs, two dressers, and two closets. They kept it clean and sanitized. They were strict about COVID restrictions and masks. Her insurance and Medicare took care of everything. They took her to doctors' appointments. I would recommend that facility."

"The rooms were pleasant and a step above most care centers we've been to. Staff was extremely helpful and great about calling us with notifications. My aunt enjoyed their courtyard and salon the most. Staff treated her like family. Hopefully this is unnecessary but would send her to them again."
