Allen Morgan Health & Rehabilitation offers comprehensive healthcare services not only for Trezevant LifeCare residents but for direct admissions that are in need of short- or long-term care and/or rehabilitation through our extensive rehabilitation department. The team is led by Paul Martin, MPH and Terri Palmore, RN, BSN which achieve the Bronze Quality Award from the American Healthcare Association in 2019 and the Silver Quality Award in 2020. Paul also was recognized by the Tennessee Healthcare Association in 2020 as the Professional Services Award recipient. Allen Morgan is a 5 Star Medicare facility since September 2019 and continues to exceed standards in health inspections, staffing, and quality measures. Accommodations for Medicare Skilled Care are available in both private and semi-private suites. To be eligible for Medicare to pay for skilled care the resident must be Medicare eligible. The admission to the health center must be preceded by a qualifying hospital stay. Medicare covers the full costs of care for the first 20 days and an additional 80 days may be provided on a co-payment basis per spell of illness as long as you meet Medicare guidelines We welcome direct admission to Allen Morgan Health and Rehabilitation Center (AMHRC) on a space-available basis. When your physician, discharge planner, or social worker discusses rehabilitation therapy, please tell them that you would like a referral sent to Allen Morgan Health and Rehabilitation Center (AMHRC) on the Trezevant campus. Princess Walker, LBSW, will help in coordinating the plan for you to return to your prior living location when it is safe and appropriate. We encourage families to be highly involved in the care and discharge planning of our residents.
