"Maple Ridge was very strict with a one-month deposit, and if you have a dog, they have a non-refundable deposit and another fee each month after that. I looked at their lovely two-bedroom, which was the right size. The windows were in the right places where you can look outside and see flowers, shrubs, and trees. They were having bingo when I was there, and they were excited. They also had a mini bowling alley. The sitting area outside was very nice and had many chairs. There was a nice courtyard with bushes and grass. The community was well kept."

"My father is in Alamo Nursing And Rehabilitation Center. My mother was up there before she passed away and you couldn't ask for a better place. They keep me informed of what's going on and they take outstanding care of my parents. They've got a lot of activities going on for them, anything from bingo to puzzles, and kids groups from churches who come in and visit. I have nothing but praise for them. The rooms are double occupancy, but sufficient for everything you need. The staff is helpful and kind. They have nutritional meals for them. It's an older nursing home, but he's in the newer section of it. It's clean and smells good. It doesn't have an old nursing home type smell from years ago."

"Before putting my Father in law in a nursing home I investigated a lot. I was told about Bells Nursing Home. Called they were wonderful on the phone. Anything I needed to know and invited us to come and visit. We went in unannouced and was very astonished at what a wonderful atmosphere they had. Constantly cleaning. Wonderful meals. If there was something that your relative couldn't eat they made every effort to replace. Physical Therapy if you needed it. Beautiful Outdoor sitting area. Constantly making plans for the residents to have some kind of activity for them to do. I have already told my daughter if and when if comes time for me to go to a nursing home, that is where I want to be. WONDERFUL STAFF "

"This facility is nothing special as far as nursing homes go. The majority of the staff are rude, there are a few employees who have shown they will go above and beyond for residents and their guests. The facility is fairly clean. Not as clean as I would prefer it to be, since this is my grandmothers home now. My grandmother seems fairly content there. "

" Both of my parents are now residents, at Gallaway Health. They both had lived with me for three years. I had been their full-time care giver. The time had come, that I alone, could not give them the care they need. This realization and the decision to find them a home, was very difficult. It’s something no one wants to face.
