"My husband was in LO rehab for approx 5 weeks and then Medicare disadvantage sent him home. The rooms are not luxurious but are clean and very adequate with flat screen tv’s and headsets if you like. Mary who I usually saw did a fantastic job (cleaning the rooms and hallways) and was always friendly and helpful in any way she could be. The staff was great! Some of the staff was outstanding, Z (as she was called), Jen, Kenneth, GiGi and a couple others but can’t remember all the names. Overall if you have to be in a nursing/rehab facility I would recommend LO Nursing/Rehab. My husband enjoyed the music that was occasionally provided by what I assume were local musicians. No one wants to be in one of these facilities let’s face it. The rehab staff was good as well. Hopefully we won’t have need for more of this care but if we do I would choose no other!"

"I could not be happier with my mother's care. All staff are caring, patient, and truly love their work. Nursing staff goes above and beyond. CNAs are always friendly and kind, very attentive to patient's needs. They take the time to get to actually know their patients needs and wants. I would definitely recommend Regency !"

"My mother is at WellBridge of Grand Blanc now. She's gotten in the parking lot three times and she keeps opening the emergency doors. So, I have to pay somebody to sit with her from 8:00 in the morning till 8:00 at night. The food's great there, and the staff is really good but they're shorthanded. They've got people that work double shifts. What they have to deal with there, they've gone over and above to help my mother. They have crafts and they usually have people come in and perform music once a week. They have something to do every day. The building itself is nice. The staff and the management are helpful. And if they can't help you, they'll find a place that will, and they're good at that."

"My husband is at Fisher Senior Care and Rehab Center. I like it there very much. The staff have been wonderful. It's a very clean place. There's no odor in the place. They call me when they have to make a major change and see what I think about it. I would very much recommend it. However, the only reason I'm requesting a change is because I don't drive. It's hard for me to get over to see him, and I would like to see him every day. My husband has been very limited in what he can say, and he can't walk. He is put in a wheelchair now once a day, and they are trying for more often. He just fell out of a wheelchair because he bent over, so they're trying to get another wheelchair. He's very limited right now. I have talked with the therapist, and they do things with him. They want him to do more, but he's very, very weak. I can't take care of him, and I'm grateful that there are places. I think this is a good place. I like the way they talk to him. I think the value for the money is good."

"My sister is in Kith Haven. I chose this facility because it is right on the border from where I live. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The room is very nice; it is for two people. My sister said that she doesn’t like their food. They take them out, and they have an activity door that has different things for them to do every day. I like the fact that they are involved in with their patients and they keep the families involved. She will be there until she will be able to walk, and I would recommend it but they must improve on the food. "

"I came year 10 weeks ago in a wheelchair. Started Physical therapy and i progressed extremely well and they have the best therapist ever vamshi and Chris. Now i can walk very good and use my hands now which i was not able to do so. All the staff the administrator Stephen are the best i ever had. In 6 weeks i become the president of the resident council and i love all the residents. This is a beautiful home. I praise it for ever. I am very happy ever, happier than any facility i was ever in."

"My sister is in Willowbrook Manor. They've been very good with her. It's clean. They seem very caring. She hasn't complained about the food. Her room has a bed, and there's a wooden shelving unit for her clothing, and she has a side table. The wooden shelving is very nice. I've seen the lounging room and they have a TV in there, couches and chairs, and it looks very clean and comfortable."

"I have my younger sister at Maple Woods Manor. The best thing I like about them is that they are skilled nursing care. They have a round-the-clock nurse. Their facility is older, but it's very clean. There's no odor when you walk in. Everything is pretty top-notch and they take good care of their patients. It's a nursing facility so the food is just pretty much like everywhere else. She's in a two-person room. It's large. It's very well-kept, clean, and nice. They have rehab there also and they have activities. They have people come in and entertain them. They sing and they play bingo. They always have stuff going."

"The Bortz Health Care nursing home located in Lake Orion, Michigan has done an outstanding job with the residents. My grandfather has been a resident there for nine months now and I visit him frequently. The only concern I have with the staff at this Bortz facility is sometimes they are not as attentive as they should be. There has been several instances I have witnessed residents in need of assistance, usually with changing soiled clothing or needing help using the restroom, and staff left them unattended for up to an hour at a time. As an aging adult, it can already be quite embarrassing to lose control of bodily functions, and to be left sitting in it for any length of time adds to that.Aside from that, the facility is quite nice. Staff is extremely friendly and develops close bonds with residents. There are daily social activities that bring the residents together, often including music, games, and parties. Therapy dogs visit frequently, which many of the residents enjoy a great deal. Residents are given options for each meals, and in the event they are not interested in the menu items, staff will take requests.Overall, my grandfathers stay at Bortz has been a wonderful experience. He enjoys the privacy of his room, the staff, the interaction with other residents, and the meals. "

"My mother is in Orchard Grove, and it's going well so far. It's open, very clean, and it seems to be organized. I think they may be short staffed, but they do a good job with what they have. They have a happy hour on Friday nights, they have some music, I see several bands come in every Friday and Saturday for old-time music, sometimes they have little games in the private areas for someone not as needy, and they have theme nights sometimes. One night was roaring 20's, they all had hats, they had themed decorations, and that was kind of cute. She is in a dual facility, which provides rehab and long-term care."

"My in-laws are residents of Mission Point of Holly and we liked it. It's a small place and brand-new, they recently rebuilt it. It has 66 beds and only 22 are occupied right now. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they offer activities to the residents."

" I have a lot of experience with nursing homes and the staff here are simply the best! It is a Medicaid and thus bare-bones facility but the care is beyond parallel! All of the staff treat the residents like they matter ! The first time I walked in the door they knew immediately who I was and greeted me by name ! My mom has personal relationships with the caregivers there and I can tell the love compassion and care in their eyes and their manner! I am a caregiver for people with disabilities and my goal is to make people feel safe and loved the staff here do that with all of the residents ! They use their tools, their eyes, their words, their presence, and their touch every day to make everyone there feel safe! My family and I thank God each and every day for the people at Romeo nursing care center ! "
