My husband was in LO rehab for approx 5 weeks and then Medicare disadvantage sent him home. The rooms are not luxurious but are clean and very adequate with flat screen tv’s and headsets if you like. Mary who I usually saw did a fantastic job (cleaning the rooms and hallways) and was always friendly and helpful in any way she could be. The staff was great! Some of the staff was outstanding, Z (as she was called), Jen, Kenneth, GiGi and a couple others but can’t remember all the names. Overall if you have to be in a nursing/rehab facility I would recommend LO Nursing/Rehab. My husband enjoyed the music that was occasionally provided by what I assume were local musicians. No one wants to be in one of these facilities let’s face it. The rehab staff was good as well. Hopefully we won’t have need for more of this care but if we do I would choose no other!

My husband is in Lake Orion Nursing and Rehabilitation. It's fabulous. He got there on Friday and they had a weekend PT to look at him. We didn't waste any time. A gentleman took his collar off and shaved him. It's a very community-oriented place. And for me in Rochester, it's a quick drive. We posted on Facebook that he was going there, and other people jumped in and said yes, they had very positive experiences. They're helping skilled people, so I'm very impressed with them. If you need skilled places, I recommend it. I had a call last night. My husband needs to get back to his neurosurgeon who did his spine surgery, and we've been having trouble because we couldn't go when we were in the hospital. And then a lady called me last night and said, "We understand you're having trouble rebooking that appointment. We can help you. We could arrange transportation." And it's such a burden lifted off of me with all that and all the decisions that I had to make. It's really good for people needing skilled services. My husband was a doctor, but he is very with it mentally, it's just his poor body is suffering, and he said, "Oh, this is good." It's a very warm and comforting place. The staff are excellent. It's like a spa for sick people. It's an older building, but it's clean. It's got really nice pictures that people in Michigan can relate to. I was there yesterday, and there was this lady singing about the Easter parade, so they must have activities. My husband is not a joiner; he would rather not.

My grandmother lived there in the last couple of years before she passed. The staff was always very caring, never complained about the residents who made the constant calls, always had a smile. Maybe they didn't get immediately right on the task or request but they always remembered to do what was asked or needed. There was always something going on to keep the residents engaged. My mother used to work in a nursing home years ago that has since shut its doors and I have very unpleasant memories of any visit while she was at work. I never had that experience any of the times that I visited with my grandmother. So from my mother and the whole Babcock family, thank you to all of the nurses, aides, orderlies, technicians and staff that have cared for my grandmother for her last years. For everything that they have done and the love and care that they have shown for her. Words cannot express my family's gratitude for what I know is their calling and the way that they have treated my grandmother as if she were their own.

All was very nice and clean and very friendly staff except when you needed your pain medicaine. It was always given to me late and I was in agony after a large back surgery. I would not go again because of that.

I am a friend of a resident of Lake Orion Nursing Center. In general, I thought that Lake Orion Nursing Center was an excellent choice for someone who is looking for a nursing facility for a friend or a family member to live or for a temporary stay. Lake Orion Nursing Center was a very nice and clean secluded nursing facility with a very contemporary inviting environment and of a very fresh country atmosphere to compliment its surroundings. The grounds of the facility are very beautiful, secluded and wooded surrounded by various trees and land also the landscape and maintenance is just stunning. The common areas of the facility are also beautiful and secluded surrounded by acres of land and trees that all compliment one another. The residents' rooms are nice and country fresh clean looking and don't smell. The colors are mostly bright such as white, off white, beige and brown wood furniture not a very fancy facility but very secluded and laid back more less plain and simple inside but very nice and quiet and in a very country setting, contemporary. The staff and management of the facility are very nice, professional, and team, task oriented in their performances and job duties. I think the residents receive good care there. The residents also play the piano and interact with one another. While I was there, I noticed that the staff members were very attentive to their residents and showed their residents that the really care about them. The residents seem to be very happy there and they all acted like family members towards one another. I would have to give Lake Orion Nursing Center five stars rating fro their performances. I also noticed the deep cedar brown wood against the bright colors set of a very country, contemporary look to the facility. Overall, Lake Orion Nursing Center is an excellent choice for someone who is looking for placement for a friend or family member to live and I would recommend it to anyone, any age group because I think that they would do well there and I think that they would like it there also.
