"The staffing at Grand Blanc Rehabilitation & Nursing Center was more than adequate. When we toured, it was very clean and we did not see or smell any urine. They had medical staff on duty 24/7. We went to see the dining room and the food looked good. The tour director showed us the weekly calendar of activties on the board. "

"I think most of the nurses were really really nice but their level of urgency and knowledge seemed limited. I have visited a few nursing homes over the years and this one by far had the worst smell once you walked into the back halls. However they did have wonderful activities for the residents and were very sweet once my grandmother went on hospice and passed away. "

"Wellbridge Of Grand Blanc appeared clean. They appeared to have good staff. They had a variety of activities for the patients. If I could, I would have placed my sister there. Those were the two things that impressed me the most. They had a Starbucks inside the facility, so it reminded me of a nice hotel. The staff members I met were eager to help."

"This place is so nice. I've lived here over a year and my husband has been here more than two years now. So we know this place well and we both agree we couldn't have found a more incredible place to live. The staff and the residents seem to be truly good people and get along well in the good and the trying situations that occur. The staff is truly kind and always available for all of our needs. Requests are met immediately. This place is very clean and neat, inside and out, at all times. We would both recommend The Oaks to everyone."

"Maple Woods Manor was a clean, friendly, loving, and caring place. The staff was very attentive and professional. The area was just great and the apartments were adequate. They have gardening, a puzzle room, an activity room, and different amenities of a hair salon and things like that. The dining room was large, spacious, and clean."

"Durand Senior Care was really nice. It seemed really clean, they were very attentive to the patients, and very nice and helpful. They know their patients by name."

"It was clean, smelled nice, and was very organized. The staff was friendly, professional, and informed. It was good place that my mother could have been. The rooms and apartments were spacious. The food was appetizing. They had choices for dinner. I thought they had a chef on staff. The nurses were friendly. The nurse-patient ratio is probably four or five to one, and then they had CNAs too. They do different kinds of games. They had an arboretum and wild birds. They have best physical therapy and occupational therapy. They had board games night. I thought they had book readings and a book club. They had cards you had to have to access places in the facility to visit your loved ones."

"My brother was the latest of many relatives requiring assisted living or rehab. Fenton HC is hands down the best facility I have ever seen. From admin, to medical care, to therapy, to caseworkers, each specialist went above & beyond to make his stay the best it could be."

"My in-laws are residents of Mission Point of Holly and we liked it. It's a small place and brand-new, they recently rebuilt it. It has 66 beds and only 22 are occupied right now. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they offer activities to the residents."

"I visited Pleasant View two years ago. It's brand new, built within the last five years. It's a nice place, and they seemed to have good workers there. I believe it's a nursing home. The staff was good, it all looked really nice, it had a nice layout. The community room where we're at was really inviting, nice, and big. It's very clean, and they have attentive staff."

"Lapeer County Medical Care Facility was really good. It was beautiful. Master Gardeners volunteer their time to have beautiful flowers in the garden. They had aquariums with fish and even aviaries. The staff was professional, they served good food and they had activities like Bingo, baseball, people coming in to play music, and even nail polish day."

"My Mom was taken there after breaking a hip. The people dont just do their job they enjoy working with and caring for the people there. My Mom loves the food, loves the people, the place is clean, they have lots of activities, and every one Ive met there is kind and always has a smile. They are always quick to call if Mom is being taken to a Doctors appointment or such things. Sure makes life easier when you know your loved one is taken care of. To all the employees there. "The staff of Wellspring Lutheran Services was wonderful to my mom. They were very, very kind to her, and I felt they took good care of her, but it also took family like my sister and I to take care of her too and to make sure all her needs were met. The food was pretty good. They had a cook and sometimes even the people who work in the kitchen would bring a recipe to work and make the recipe for the people there for a treat, like during strawberry season, they would make a whole bunch of homemade strawberry pie or something. They would do special things like that for the people who were there, and I thought that was really great. "
