My in-laws are residents of Mission Point of Holly and we liked it. It's a small place and brand-new, they recently rebuilt it. It has 66 beds and only 22 are occupied right now. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they offer activities to the residents.

There was a new section at the Mission Point Nursing Rehab in Holly that was the part where you pay for it out of your own money. So, my mom would be paying for it but as her money runs out, she'd go to the old section of the place. It just didn't look like it was maintained well or that people were looked after there. They were just kind of sitting around and it also kind of stunk. I saw both of these areas during my visit. Half of the place was brand-new and half of it was the old building. The person who gave the tour had a spiel. He knew what he was saying and he just rattled it off like it was, more or less, a line he was doing in a movie. He was knowledgeable but it just seemed like it was a script. I believe the new part of it has a private room. When you go to the older side, it's semi-private, and maybe 2 or 3 people per room. I just didn't care for it. From the road, the place looks nice because it's brand new, but what you can't see is the old section.
