"I had a two week stay at Bay Tree center in July 2017. Very impressed by the professionalism of the facility. The staff were kind and courteous and strived to meet my needs. The therapy was excellent. The place was very clean and had no odor. Would highly recommend. "

"St. Mark Village was an older building, and it looked a little shabby to me. The apartments were nice. When you move in they'll repaint and do everything and change the carpet. The carpeting needed replacing in the common hallways. You only meet a few salespeople. The residents seemed happy. They had a pool, but it was not an enclosed pool. We specifically want an enclosed, heated pool. Whenever you go to a facility for a food sample, they give you a good dinner. Who knows what the rest of the stuff is in any of the places."

"What a great experience at Trinity Regional Rehab Center! My 75 year old mother was hospitalized on January 18, 2018, for several pelvic fractures. She was discharged from the hospital on January 23rd. I attempted to transfer her to TRR on that date, but wasn’t able to, at that time. She was transferred to and admitted to a local New Port Richey skilled nursing care facility. What a nightmare! She remained at the NPR location until I was able to transfer her to TRR, on February 8, 2018. Mom’s entire outlook and attitude positively changed upon admission. What a night and day comparison to the NPR facility. She remained at TRR until she was discharged on March 3, 2018. I was thoroughly impressed with the TRR facility and staff. Everyone was professional and so attentive. The facility is bright, clean, and well-kept. The outdoor gazebo area is a great escape for patients and their families. The dining and media rooms were great perks, as well. The entire staff communicated with me throughout her stay, including a conference call with LPN Heather and admin-in-training Andrea after initial admission and health & PT review. I was notified of all changes in medication and status. Mom loved her entire PT/OT team, including Doug and Kimberly. Jane at the front desk was kind and professional. Heather C, LPN, was attentive, professional, and answered any and all questions presented. Nurse unit manager, Susan, contacted me several times each week, with updates. Danielle, CNA, in the spa/shower was very gentle with my mother during her showers. Mary, LPN, was so personable and kindly tolerated all of my questions and concerns regarding the various medications dispensed. Kelly and Amy, both supervising RN’s, always took the time to assist me and address any concerns. Wound Care personnel evaluated my mom’s wounds every Wednesday and her bedsores, which she received at the NPR facility, healed rapidly. Mom was thrilled to have her hair permed in the facility hair salon. Maria, in the business office, communicated with me regarding insurance coverage and any outstanding payments due. I also received a follow-up call from Scott, the facility manager, after Mom’s discharge. Overall, this was a great experience. I highly recommend the facility and wouldn’t hesitate to admit my friends and family, in their time of need. "

"My father in law had a brief stay (10 days) at manor care. We worked with Vanessa and Grace on the staff there. I’m leaving this review to acknowledge the service these 2 ladies provided. They were extremely responsive returning calls and keeping us updated on his care. They jumped through hoops to arrange his discharge filing paperwork and communicating with the assisted living facility. "

"The people at Countryside Rehab & Healthcare Center were nice and the food was good. They worked hard at helping my husband. They weren't allowing him to go to the bathroom by himself. The place was lovely, nice, and clean. The staff was very pleasant."

"I was in Life Care Center New Port Richey for rehab after I had my stroke two years ago. They were very good. They had good, nutritious food and portions that was right for you. You wouldn't be hungry there. There was a lot of physical activity. I did some weight lifting and walked a lot. They had markers to tell you how much walking you've done. It was a very good place that didn't smell and was very clean and very nice. I was a cook for 25 years, and they actually let me help out with cooking a couple of times one day they were shorthanded. The staff was very good and very helpful. When you call, they come; I did not have to wait. My daughter asked if my little dog could visit me, and they said as long as he had his rabies shots and he wasn't aggressive, she could bring him in to visit. There were plenty of activities. The grounds were beautiful, so you could walk around outside."

"The staff and others that come into that building are amazing. The food is not great but they do need to serve 120 patients including the family members that are in there with the families. This place is amazing compared to the other facilities that I have gone to. Thank you. "

"My father was at Consulate Health Care and they were very hands on and they take good care of him. All his needs were provided. He has a physical therapist and speech therapist, because he needed both. We were able to bring him home. They did very well with him. "

"My mother is in Palm Garden of Clearwater right now. It looks like she will be staying there permanently, and she seems to be enjoying it. She has a pretty high level of dementia, but from what she is telling us, she enjoys the staff, and they treat her well. As far as we're concerned, we've been treated very fairly by the staff and very nicely. We're getting daily updates by phone. We have not been able to go inside the building because of COVID, but we have done several window visits. The floors are nice and clean, and the room she is in looks clean, neat, and cared for. From what we can see in the hallways and even at the front door where we dropped things off for her, everything looked very nice and clean."

"My mother was hospitalized and the hospital recommended West Chester Gardens. The staff there are doing a great job. I feel that my mom is really being attended well and cared for. The facility is nice and clean. She is situated in a semi-private room but will soon be moving to an assisted living facility in a little apartment. "

"This faculty is great.. I was there for a few months for rehabilitation.. Everything from the staff, the care,the physical therapists, the cleanliness, the food etc was fantastic... There is no way anyone can say a negative thing about this faculty.. I only wish I could go back and visit the people who took care of me but cause of Covid lockdown I can't unless it changed. I was discharged in middle of October... Thank you to all the staff"

"We put my father where he seems to be most comfortable, which is Madison Pointe Rehabilitation and Health Center. Some of the things I liked about the location were his attitude about the people that were there, the members of the staff that he seemed to really connect with, the openness of the location (it was very homey), and it seemed to be very accepting of everybody despite where they came from. I feel that if we were to make another choice, I think this would still be high on our list. Everybody was very helpful. I just think that it was a good choice all around. My father started out in a multi-person room, but he has moved into an individual room at this point. I would consider the room to be pretty big for the location. It's a nice apartment. He has Alzheimer's, and it's getting worse as it goes on, but he seems to maintain a bit of his own freedom. With regards to activities, they basically engage my father daily every morning. They ask him where he wants to go and if he wants to go to an area where he is with a lot of people. Even if he doesn't want to be with a lot of people, they end up giving him an area where he is engaging with people on a regular basis, which is really nice. They've had things like holiday festivals with him, Oktoberfest, Christmas parties, and things like that. I think that really engages his senses and engages him physically and intellectually. I just think that's really, really good for his state of mind. I have tried their food. I was there with my father for Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas as well. I try to go down about every three to five weeks to spend some time with him. I think it's a very family-oriented facility, which was very helpful when I was looking for places. I think this is a great place for him."

"My mom is in Mitchell Rehab. It is connected to a hospital because it is intensive. They seem to be all doing really good. I mean there’s nothing pleasing my mom, but I think they’re OK. The level of care seems to be perfect. I only see her room and I don’t see where she goes to rehab. They don’t have a staff there. I would say the rest is really nice. The food looks good. My mom is complaining only because she has no teeth and she is refusing to eat more stuff because she is picking out food that she can’t chew. "

"My father came to Heather Hill June 12th, 2015 from Lexington KY. He weighed 159 lbs when he arrived and is 102 years old. He had had little socialization in the last few years since mom died in Oct 2008. He was somewhat upset but he had to have 24 hr care and I felt pressured by all the health workers around him helping to care for him that he needed the care myself and family couldn't give. On October 2nd he had lost down to 131 1/2 lbs. The caring people at Heather Hill saw this and were giving him extra weight gaining treats as well as all the extra food I was bringing him. He as of December 5th weighs 161 and has a lot more social life than he had had in years. He sings and the people there sing along and dance with him. He's happy a lot of the time. The workers and administration strive to make the place "home" for a lot of folks with over 95 beds to offer the best of care. It doesn't feel like a sad place, it seems like a happy place. "
