"My elderly father was told that he would never walk again after breaking his hip. My Daddy and I did not want to accept this without trying everything that we could. He stayed at this rehab center for a month receiving therapy 7 days a week. My Daddy walked out with the aid of a walker after his stay. The staff here is excellent and extremely caring. They gave my Daddy the wonderful gift of hope and they were his cheerleaders. They gave back his independence and great quality of life. My Daddy could not have walked again without their help and love. I highly recommend them in every possible way! Excellent facility."

"I was discharged from SPines for the 2nd time earlier this wk. The rooms for 2 patients are a bit cramped with walkers and/or wheelchairs in the way often. Other than that, I found that the meals were dull and often tasteless. I freely chose SP for a 2nd time because of the staff at all levels. They demonstrated clinical and personal skills one doesn't see often -- they were readily accessible and had senses of humor which truly made the time go by. One of my CNA's in particular, Maria (do not know surname), stood out as exceptional, as did many others."

"I was there for several months,I was well cared for by an excellant staff(North and South unit,)Amber was fantastic,cna, and many on the north unit. Social worker and business office were professionals,and the PT was very good, Only bad aspect was lousy food. I may have to return to a facility, and Orchard Ridge would be fine."

"The nurses are top notch. They always listen and try to find solutions to any problem that arises. My friend said that even though they are very busy, they always put him first. It's best to eat in the dining room though because the food sent to the rooms is often cold. It's beautiful and smells great which is a plus. The most important thing is that they put real effort and time into getting people well enough to go home. "

"I am currently a resident of Consulate Healthcare of New Port Richey, since November of 2017. This is a PERSONAL avcount of my current stay here. I am only 43 years old, but require, complex long term care, due to a rerminal illness. The staff here is 95% (there are always 1 or 2) outstanding! Considering the ways of the world now, that is truly amazing. I cannot say enough. I consider them to be friends, as opposed to caregivers. Honestly!♡ They sincerely ask about you, say hello in the halls, call you by first name and want to know how you are doing. If there is a concern, any staff member, from any dept. will address the problem or get another staff member who can. That's an everyday, absolute that residents can trust in. The physical therapy department is amazing. The business office is flexible, attentive and caring. The Social Worker is approachable, thinks ahead and takes all worries from you, even in complex situations. The nursing staff is amazung. That coming from a nurse. They care, are expedient and knowledgable. They care for me as I would care for my parents. The DON, Toni, treats me as though i were her son, that well. Personally checking in wirh me and assuring that each department communucates with her as to any progress or degress i may encounter. I haveva very complex medical history, and despite this i have shown progress and it did not discourage the staff here from accepting me and helping my drastically improve! Activities, Delores and Mary are angels! There are more activities than I can possibly do! That department learned my likes, activities and hobbies, and accommodated them all, including utilizing personal means to make sure I was active and happy. The administrator, Dan, has personally, visited me at least twice a month, to ensure that my needs and wishes are met. He, as most all staff here, go over and beyond their necessary functions. The scheduler is outstanding, managing my extremely complex schedule of doctors appointments, hospital stays and diagnostic tests. I am given a list of each appointment, times, transportation and requirements, ahead of time. The visiting physician I have is awesome, as well as his kind and knowledgable ARNP. All of my labs, xray's, ultrasound's and prescriptions are tended to quickly and easily in-house. The fellow residents are kind, friendlyband actually look out for each other and you feel like ypu have that additional safety and friend. The food is moderate, but has recently improved some. That is the only check point I could say could be a little better. The facility is not new, has some "wear and tear", but housekeeping cleans our rooms and all other areas daily, and also care about you, including doing more than required. Don't judge a book by its cover. It's the people that make the difference, and this is where this facility excels. Despite being corporately owned, residents are treated like friends or family and you are addressed by all staff by first name, despite their being a lot of residents. I have made CHC of New Port Richey my home. "

"My Father was at this facility after he had a stroke. I was lucky that he got to go to Trinity Rehab. The therapist helped my father regain all of the weakness on his left side from the stroke. He is home now and playing golf like the pro he was. I don't know if he would have gotten this far if it wasn't for the therapy team. Ashley was a great inspiration for him and we are ever grateful. The food was good and the nurses didn't want my father to leave. lol. If you have a choice or have questions go there and talk to them. Look around. You will be impressed. My mom and I were happy with Trinity and their care. "

"I went to look at Peninsula Care and Rehabilitation Center. I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and the attention that the staff gives to the patients from what I saw in the dining room and in the rehab area. They were just very friendly and personable. Sabrina was very forthcoming. She asked me about my concerns, filled me in on their daily routine, and what my expectations were for the time my mom would be there. They have rehab. They have two separate areas for outdoor sitting and visiting. They also have an indoor visitor lounge. The personal preference is whether the patient wants to have their meals in their room or go down to the dining room. They would have daily checks on their personal hygiene."

" My Mom was a very independent person. She fell, broke her hip, was in rehab over 3 months. We needed to find a permanent place where she would feel at home. Tarpon Bayou Center met all of our needs. As soon as we walked into this facility, we just knew this would be perfect for her. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and the caring nature of the staff. There are numerous activities and they encourage the residents to participate. All the therapists helped Mom to get her independence back. They treated her like she was a family member and we truly appreciated the kindness they showed to all of their residents. Tarpon Bayou Center took wonderful care of my Mom and I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone. "

"My mother is at Oak Hill Health & Rehab. It's a pretty place, it's brand new, and it's only a year old. They do a pretty good job. They do a decent job probably better than some of the other rehab. I really can't complain about the rehab. It's very clean, It's nice, and it's good. They have good aides. The aides are very friendly and very nice. It is a good place. The aides like her. They do whatever they're supposed to with PT. There is one thing I have a comment on and that's the scheduling. They don't tell you the schedule when you're supposed to be in PT. But other than that, everything else is good. The chef is good, so the food is very good. The activities are pretty good. They take them out on outings, they have crafts, they have trivia and questions, and they have movies with popcorn and stuff. They try hard. I would give them a 5 because they don't lose her clothes, they do what they say, and they bring her to activities. The staff are very good; they're very nice."

"My Mom is a resident of this facility. I am so happy that my Mom is here and not at any other facility. They truly care about the residents here. I am very anxious about not seeing my Mom because of this virus, but I know she is in good hands. Ms. Diane and Mr. Bill have been so helpful with getting my phone calls to the nurse so I can check on Mom. Also so I can talk with her. It might take some time but I know I am not the only one who is calling to check on my family. Mr. Webster and Ms. Rebecca are on top of things here in this facility. I appreciate all the nurses and the cna's who are giving the best care to my mom and all the other residents who are in the facility. These healthcare workers from administration down to maintenance and everyone in between who put their lives on the line to take care of my family are heroes. They are trying to keep our loved ones safe and at the same time making sure they are safe so they can continue to take care of our family and keep their family safe too. I hope that your company can really show them you appreciate them after this is all said and done. They all deserve it. "

"The staff are caring and understanding. As with all facilities there were just a couple of exceptions. Charge nurses rush to answer the call when requested. I loved nurses Amanda, Stephanie, Samantha, Justina, and a few more during the weekend but I can't remember their names. The aides that impressed me the the most were Mona, Donna, Kit, Eileen, and a beautiful Haitian lady that I can't remember her name. Those women treated me like their family. My physical and occupational therapist were the best. Special thanks to Keiren, Adam, Josh, and Tracy. My recovery has been remarkable. If I should ever need your services again, I won't hesitate to return."

"Baldomero Lopez State Veterans is wonderful to my dad. He has been there for about 2 months. It’s beautiful. The food is surprisingly very good. The staff there is very caring. There have been a few little incidents -- most of them minor -- and they call you right away to keep you informed about things that have happened even if they don’t have great consequence. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about how they render their care there."
