Elliotte Manor is wonderful. It's personalized since its small, and the staff is attentive and kind. My mom is doing very well there. The rooms are large, extremely clean, the bathrooms are clean and there's no odor at all. It's very homey because it's a much smaller community, they have actual houses with about 6 resident to each house. And they have a ratio of 3 at the most to 1 caregiver, which is so much better than the large facilities. The food is great because since it's just a small number of people, they don't use any institutionalized food service. Everything is cooked on site, everything is done from scratch, and they purchase their groceries from the local grocery store. So everything is much different altogether. The activities depends on the needs of the residents. They kind of tailor them to what kind of day the residents are having, but they do different things with them every day.
