I liked that The Post at Mint Hill was small and homey since it's in houses. It was in a nice property with a nice courtyard and a nice front porch. It was located near a hospital and restaurants. A dislike would be that it was too much like a nursing home inside. The rooms seemed an awful lot like a hospital room. The staff who toured me around was very informative and very helpful.

This place is heaven sent. I have searched for months to find the perfect spot for my dad. He was in 3 separate places prior to finding The Post. I cannot express strongly enough how wonderful this team is. They are so tuned into their residents and their love and compassion radiates out of every pore. I love this group. In my opinion, you won’t find a better team in the world. I didn’t know an assisted living facility could be this wonderful based on past experiences. If I ever had to choose a place for myself, I’m head to The Post! I might be too wild for them, but it sure would be fun . Go check them out. You won’t be disappointed and in fact, you will be blown away by their kindness.

I am so pleased with the care my mother receives. The facility is clean and well maintained her private room reflects her personality and provides all the comforts of home. The common areas are like a family home. The areas are safe and well lit and provide interesting decor that stimulates conversation. The grounds are beautiful and full of birds and flowers and trees. I am so grateful for finding this haven of peace and security. The staff is attentive and kind. The response to my questions and requests are prompt and graciously received. The activities provided are appropriate and fun. Highly recommend for a warm and well staffed home for mom. LR

There is a reason this beautiful location is in a residential area and feels like home to the residents. The managers and staff take pride in it inside and out AND take pride in their care of the residents inside and out! The lower staff-to-resident ratio allows management and staff to focus on the residents and their specific needs. The facility does not feel, look, nor “smell” institutional, staff is attentive and responsive, and our family loves that we can focus our time on our loved one rather than on what staff did wrong & the treatment of our loved one! ALL facilities in the industry should aspire to be like this one that is comprehensively a breath of fresh air! We love them! The rooms are beautifully and creatively appointed with little need for families to bring more furniture. Staff are thorough in their communications with families and will call and text with updates on any specific issues of concern. I’ve witnessed staff doing art activities and sitting on the porch talking with the residents as if they were their own family! They even share how loved ones respond! The yard and porch allow for residents to take in the beauty of the place rather than being stuck in their rooms and staring at the 4 walls all day! This facility thrives on social interaction with its residents. The meals are delicious to the residents and it is precious to watch staff interact, feed, and encourage family members to do the same in a dining room that looks like home where they make everyone feel welcome! Every time I bring family & friends to visit our loved one, they are thoroughly impressed!

My father received great care while living at the Post at Mint Hill. The staff is caring and communicates well with family. This is a unique home with only six residents per house, there are two, so my father received an exceptional level of attention. I would highly recommend this residence for anyone looking for care for a loved one.
