"We had a tour at Carriage Club, and everybody was very nice. They showed us everything, and we were impressed with the facility. They showed us the different levels of care. I think we saw two rooms, which were renovated, and they were nice. The dining room was lovely. The residents we saw were engaged. There were people going downstairs to play cards. There were people in the dining room and sitting on the sofa. I thought it looked like a nice environment. "

"Little Flower seems like a tightknit, friendly, and a charming little place. They have a little chapel inside there. This used to be one time owned by or in relation to the Catholic Church. It almost looks like a convent inside the way they have a chapel. Maybe a lot of the people there could be from a Catholic background. I was only there twice, but it seems fine. The people seem happy and content. This is what it looked like, but I don't know how it was after hours or weekends. That is when you really know the place is taking care of the people. I liked it, but there was no availability; plus in terms of money, it was a little bit more expensive. It is a little bit high, but it was nice. "

"My mom is staying at Cadence Mint Hill. We're very happy with it. They take good care of my mom. They check on her throughout the day and night. My mom is wheelchair-bound, and they get her up and do things with her. They're doing the best they can. She's towards the end of the line, but she's doing okay. There are always activities. They have people come in. Every holiday, they decorate. They have hair-cutting and nail-cutting services there. Everybody seems very happy and friendly. All the patients talk to us, and they think the place is great, so we can't complain about anything. Everything seems to be nice. The staff members are top-notch people. If they find that my mother has a problem with something, they call us and let us know. They keep us updated. The cleaning staff comes in and cleans her room and bathroom. Everybody is very friendly and helpful towards my mom. So I can't say anything negative about them. The food looks great. The price just recently increased, but it's very doable."

On top of this their staff was phenomenal, patient, and caring. You can't go wrong with this choice for your loved one!"

"I visited this facility after a former client moved into it when he decided that an assisted living facility would meet his needs better than his independent home. My first impressions of the facility was that it's absolutely gorgeous - very bright, clean, modern looking, and open. Each resident has his or her own small apartment and they receive help in maintaining it by staff. There is also a wonderful amount of open area (library, garden, dining hall) to allow for community gatherings. The staff are extremely friendly and one thing that struck me right away was that even though the person I was visiting had only moved in a week or so prior to my visit, at least four staff members addressed him by name and with a smile while I was visiting. He told me several times that he was very happy there and mentioned specific activities that he either had or was looking forward to joining in on. He even mentioned some outings that the facility had planned, enabling the residents to get out and enjoy some of what Matthews and Charlotte have to offer. While I was in the facility my former client was also reminded to take some medication and a staff spoke to him about an upcoming doctors visit that they had helped to arrange as well. He said that he felt his medical needs were being well met while he was there which, being a diabetic and on dialysis, was extremely important to him. Overall I felt confident that he had made the right choice in moving to Weddington Park. He was able to enjoy a beautiful environment and keep up with an active social schedule, while also having his medical and personal care needs met. I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone. "
